El Sterling ruined my life once. I’m not giving her a chance to do it a second time.
I’ve made mistakes.
Mistakes that I’ve learned from.
I’ve come a long way to make it as captain of the Salt Lake Pumas.
So of course, that’s when she comes back.
The girl who ruined my life twelve years ago.
But not again.
I’m a changed man. I’ve worked hard for this.
My head knows I need to ignore the woman … knows I need to ignore the woman El has become.
My body’s much more easily swayed.
The fire in her eyes burns through my cool-headed defenses.
No one told me that giving in to the sparks between us might make me change all over again.

This is a well written enemies to lovers romance between Eliana and Luke. The author does a great job building the story and pulling you in with this second chance romance. She brings a hot chemistry and growing love and weaves an entertaining read. The story moves fluidly with detailed scenes and strong characters. I enjoyed reading their story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I really enjoyed Gloves Dropped by Camellia Tate. It is an enemies to lovers story about a young woman who takes a job with an NHL team in Utah as the team’s nutritionist, and a hockey player on the team. The two went to high school together in a small town in Pennsylvania, and have been enemies since a high school party that changed their lives forever.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters and the story are wonderful, and it has a happy ending! If you enjoy romance novels, especially hockey player romance, you will really enjoy this book!
No matter how hard you try you can’t fight natural chemistry; even if you’ve spent the last decade hating the person you have chemistry with! This is the problem for the two main characters in the book who are brought back together in the workplace and forced to work together when they don’t even want to look at each other. As hard as they try they can’t ignore their past or their future and both have to make personal decisions that see them learn from the past and move forward together.
Great main characters, with a full supporting cast that will easily lead to further books in a series for the team. Everyone was lovable and the writer made you want to be part of their social circle; and sometimes I wanted to shout at them both to sort themselves out!
I loved this book and totally recommend it but you should read it and make up your own mind.

I recieved this book free and I am voluntarily doing a review . First off I love the sexy cover! In El and Luke’s story they have a a lot of hurt and baggage to get through . This is a very emotional must read.
Luke Nash is the captain for the Salt Lake Pumas and he is shocked when he sees the one person that he never thought that he would see again. El accepts a job as the nutritionist for the team. Luke and El went to the same high school and have not seen each other in years after one incident that would change there lives forever and ruin their friendship. They both have different perspectives of what happened that night and don’t know which side of the story is correct. Luke has horrible food allergies and he has no choice but to work closely with El. They get to know each other again and they begin to question what had really happened that night. This was really great book and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

An entertaining, interesting, heartfelt, and engaging second chance romance that will draw you in from the first page and keep you interested until the end! It is well written, emotionally deep, and compelling with drama, ups and downs, twists and turns, and character growth. The characters are likeable; you will root and enjoy getting to know them.. A recommended read!
