Both victims were beautiful and highly successful women. Their glamorous lives and loves were the talk of the city. And their intimate relations with men of great power and wealth provided Eve with a long list of suspects—including her own lover, Roarke. Any Robb book is great
Love all in this series!
My favorite series. Wonderful characters, a real page turner. Kept me up till 1 am to finish reading!
The world that JD Robb has created is fascinating, and Eve Dallas is at the top of her game. I’ve read and re-read this book, because I love the characters and the mystery. Definitely recommend this series, but start from the beginning and work your way through to see the evolution of the characters.
I am learning more about Eve and Roarke. This is the second book. Read on as they become better acquainted. Keeps you hopping as usual and the killer is none of the characters I expected.
I love all of her death books
I’m a huge fan of the In Death Series. JD Robb (aka Nora Roberts) always delivers!
I think I might have remembered the ending from the last time I read it, but I still thought it was amazing. Great way to bring Peabody into the series (though I’m not a fan of her voice in the edition I listened to).
