Oh my word, what a gorgeously written conclusion to the Madison River Romance series! I am a forever fan of Janine Rosche’s books, I adore everything she writes! I was swept away and enthralled from page one of Glory Falls and I hated to put it down (I read it in about 24 hours!) Blue and Thomas were excellent main characters (I’ve been looking forward to reading Thomas’s story since first meeting him in This Wandering Heart, and what a heart-melting hero he is, I loved him so much, and his story was everything I dreamed it would be and so much more!) I think Shane and Thomas are now tied for my favorite hero of the series (don’t feel left out, Robbie, I love you too!) I am so grateful that I don’t have to choose just one favorite hero! I also adored Thomas’s yellow lab, Molly, she never failed to make me smile! This book brought me such joy from beginning to end, I simply couldn’t contain my grin! I adored every second of this book, and there is not a single thing about Glory Falls that I didn’t absolutely love, it’s one of my favorite reads of 2021 and I most highly recommend the entire series! I cannot wait for this author’s next book, and incidentally I just got the notification that my Netgalley request for Aspen Crossroads was approved, now comes the age old struggle, do I give in to the temptation and dive in ASAP or make myself wait until closer to release date so I’ll have less time to have to wait for the one that comes after it? #booknerdproblems
I received a copy of this book from the author. No review required. All thoughts and opinions are one hundred percent my own and were not influenced in any way.
This was the perfect ending to the Madison River Romance series! I have been a fan of Thomas the whole time. He and Blue were so perfect for each other! I’m so happy that they had their happily ever after. I loved the way that this ended!
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
Another heartfelt romance with likable characters, gorgeous scenery, and faith. Oh, and a very endearing (if slightly disobedient) dog that made me feel like I need one of those in my own life. I enjoyed this book every bit as much as the first two in Janine’s Madison River Romance series, and look forward to reading more from her.
Janine Rosche outdid herself on this one. This book took multiple unexpected turns. I loved this book just like I did the other ones in this series and I was even really happy with the ending it didn’t leave a cliffhanger or loose ends (pet peeve for me). This story was about Blue and Thomas and I’m finally glad that after all the crap Thomas put up with he finally got something good in his life cuz he really deserved it. Great story and one you won’t want to miss reading.
Tall, dark, and handsome heroes tend to steal the spotlight but give me a strong, silent type any day (technically, I have one every day because that descriptor fits my husband to a tee)! The thing about strong, silent heroes is that their humor, depth, compassion, etc., is constantly surprising the blessed few who make it past their stoic walls.
As one of these coveted strong, silent heroes, Thomas is also an excellent candidate for a friends-to-more romance (you can trust me on that one, I also have personal experience in that particular arena). I love the way he truly observes people and serves them all in big and small ways. Thomas is a giver, protector, and servant to his core. Blue’s story broke my mama-heart time and again. Yet page after page, I couldn’t tear my eyes from her grief in anticipation of her first step towards healing.
Rosche unapologetically directs her characters and readers to the One true source of comfort, joy, and love. Her vivid descriptions of the scenic Madison River Valley inspired me to add it to the top of my “places to visit” list. This heartfelt story of second chances is going on my keeper shelf and I highly recommend it!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and was under no obligation to post a review. Additionally, as a co-owner of JustRead Publicity Tours, LLC, I received compensation from the publisher and/or author to coordinate a promotional tour for this title. Glory Falls is a mesmerizing read from start to finish. I’ve loved all of the Madison River Romances but this one has to be my favorite. A childhood friends turned romance is the perfect trope for this novel. This book is equally heartbreaking and equally full of hope. It’s is about great tragedy and finding ways to cope and love again. I highly recommend this book to readers of romance, inspirational books, and women’s fiction. It’s amazing! I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.
This beautiful story deserves more than 5 stars!
Rosche has described some beautiful scenery and makes me want to visit.
Y’all I absolutely loved this story! Contemporary isn’t my norm but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
I liked how Rosche has grabbed my attention from the beginning. You’ll not want to put the book down until you are finished.
I think what I loved most was how God was at work in these characters’ lives.
Everyone has past mistakes or scars from their pasts. Everyone deserves 2nd chances.
I didn’t want to say goodbye to Thomas and (Cecelia) Blue.
I will be thinking about these characters for a long time to come.
I do recommend that you read the other two books first.
I recommend this book and the previous ones in this series.
My thanks for a complimentary copy of this book. I was NOT required to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
From the opening pages, I was hooked! Janine Rosche continues to write amazing Christian romance with heart, laughter, and a tenderness with handing delicate topics. I can’t wait to read her next novel!
What an enjoyable finale to the Madison River Romance series! I had fun reading about Blue and Thomas and their lifelong friendship turned romance. They both went through a lot to get to a happily ever after, and it made for a story I couldn’t put down. Great Read!
I received this book from the publisher and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
Glory Falls by Janine Rosche is an absolute delight from cover to cover. Although the third book in the Madison River Romance Series and tied into the other books in the series, it can be read as a stand-alone. This story is about dealing with a bit of a faith crises due to a tragic accident and death of a child. It’s about finding a way to cope with life without forgetting the child. This story also strongly focuses on rekindling and reconnecting with a childhood friend and the beautiful romance that blossoms. Readers will easily relate to the characters in this story and will immediately fall in love with them. This is a beautiful and emotional story that will inspire readers long after the last page is turned.

Wow! First of all, if you haven’t read the two books in the series before this one, you can still enjoy Glory Falls. However, I highly recommend that you read the entire series simply because it is so good!
I enjoyed the first two books in the Madison River Romance series, but Glory Falls is by far my absolute favorite of the three novels! The connection between Blue and Thomas was amazing, yet it didn’t mean that things just fell into place for them. There was a lot of trauma in both of their backstories, making their second chance at love even more special.
I loved seeing Thomas open up to Blue and begin to show those emotions that he always kept tucked away. And I loved seeing how Blue was just a normal girl away from all of the trappings of Hollywood.
This story is not for the faint of heart, however, and there are events in this book, especially in flashbacks and dreams that could trigger some people. These things are related to the drowning death of a child. The author handled everything so well and captured the emotions of these characters in an amazingly convincing way. This book tugged on my heart yet made me feel uplifted and hopeful when I turned the final page.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
“In every story you’ve told me about your childhood Blue Walker was the main character and catalyst all rolled into one. If there was any chance that you could help her reclaim her life, her happiness, would you do it?”
Thomas Beck is asked this by a co-worker that he has been dating and once again, he is reminded of just what Cecilia “Blue” Walker has meant to him his entire life. Glory Falls is a story of childhood friendship, sweet romance, immense sorrow, and the joy in second chances. I loved Thomas’s deep faith and his Christian witness and the fact that even though he’d been hailed as a hometown hero, he only wanted to be a hero to the person who had made him kiss a frog and secretly carried cookies and milk to him and his sister when they didn’t have them in their own home. Blue appeared to be competent and fearless but she was haunted by the dreams of her baby girl who had drowned in the Madison River two years earlier. Is the chance to write a screenplay of Thomas’s heroic actions the beginning of Blue’s healing? How will her return to Glory Falls affect Thomas and the guilt and regrets from his own past?
Janine Rosche has written a lovely story that tugs at your heart but never breaks it! It is, instead, a heartwarming account of hope, forgiveness, and the chance to begin again. Glory Falls makes you believe in God, love, and second chances and I recommend it to all who enjoy contemporary Christian romance.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book that I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
This is the first book I have read by Janine Rosche, and this being book three in this series, I didn’t get to read the first two books. I found this ok for a stand alone, though it may have been a big more interesting reading them in order. Screenwriter Blue Walker is trying to regroup and start her life again after loosing her daughter in a tragic accident plus her husband ran off with another women, so life has been tough for her. Her childhood friend and firefighter Thomas Beck might just be the person who can help her.
This turns out to be a sweet romance, but it certainly didn’t come so easy. With both Thomas and Blue being so deeply flawed, they both needed much help. I really enjoyed this story. The characters and plot flows well, and I enjoyed watching the characters develop throughout the story. There were twists and turns that kept my attention as well.. The author does a very nice job of weaving everything together in the end to make an ending everyone would enjoy. I hope to read more from this author in the future.
A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255.
Wow!! I am in love with Glory Falls!! This is not your typical contemporary romance, which was so refreshing to me, because I am getting tired of that same, old ‘everything is perfect when you fall in love’ troupe. I’ve been ready for some real and Glory Falls brings the real.
Glory Falls takes you into the dark, the deep, the messy and dirty, which we all can agree is true to life, especially right now. Blue Walker is a dreamer that has lived her life like it’s a movie, dreaming of one day being a screenwriter like her father. I loved this so much because when I was growing up I too imagined that my life was a movie playing, and there was always someone watching, but my dream was more to be the star in the movie and not necessarily write the narrative.
From the onset, you can feel the heart emanating from this book. You can tell the author poured a bit of her soul into this novel, and it is truly breathtaking. I was awe-struck by the heartbreak that Blue has had to endure in her short life. I cannot even begin to imagine going through what she’s been through, but thank goodness she has her lifelong best friend, Thomas Beck to help balance her, and help her through this difficult time. Sadly, Thomas is going through his own issues as well, that are also very dark and deep.
The inner dialogue of both Blue and Thomas has so much depth, leaving no room for interpretation. It is clear what they both are struggling with, and it’s this rawness and vulnerability that made me fall in love with both of these characters.
Thomas is the hero that never wants to be in the spotlight, yet he agrees to let Blue write a screenplay about his life. What she doesn’t know is that he is burdened with a secret that he can’t let go of, no matter how many lives he saves and good deeds he does. I wanted to reach through the pages, grab Thomas, squeeze him as hard as I could, and let him know it’s ok to forgive himself, and tell him to let it go. He beat himself raw through this whole novel and it was truly heartbreaking to witness, especially since this man has one of the biggest and selfless hearts I have ever seen.
There are moments in Glory Falls when I felt tears threatening to surface, and moments when my heart was beating wildly as I quickly read what was going to happen next, the suspense of the moment so very real. I devoured this novel, hating every moment I had to put it down. This is the first book that I’ve read in the Madison River series, but you better believe I’m going to go back and read the first two books. If they are anything like Glory Falls I know I am in for a treat!
It’s been awhile since a book has hit me this hard, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! It is a book that truly touched my soul, and is my first MUST READ of 2021.
*I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher through JustRead Tours. All views and opinions are completely honest, and my own.
4.5 Stars
I’ve been following Janine Rosche’s debut series since the first book where we first meet Thomas and in the second books, I wanted to know more about this man, so imagine my delight in discovering Glory Falls grants that wish!!
And let me just say, the wait was worth it. First there’s Thomas. The guy rushes into danger and saves lives but he also saves lives in smaller ways. That’s the true heart of a hero (even when there is a reason behind his motives).
Oh, how my heart hurt for Blue. Her life has hit some painful stretches and Rosche writes her character in such a way that I felt this woman’s pain and suffering—both in the past and the present.
Glory Falls has some hard truths in it. Sometimes things happen in life that we have no explanation for—things like loss and divorce and career failure. Rosche balances out the difficult with moments of humor, the wisdom of friends, and God’s loving grace and healing while giving us an unforgettable romance set alongside the rugged beauty of Montana.
With the Madison River Romance series, Rosche has secured her place among the contemporary romance authors I love to read.

What a lovely story of redemption, forgiveness and overcoming loss. This is book three in the Madison River series and I have to say that although I had not issue reading this as a stand alone novel I do want to read the first two so I get to know the characters a little better. This story focuses on Thomas and Blue and I was all for it!! Right from the start you meet them in the cutest and heart warming of scenes as they are both children and you right away are pulled at the heartstrings and are rooting for Thomas and Blue.
Right away we meet Thomas who comes from a background in which his parents are less then ideal. He grows up way too soon and loses his best friend in the process as Blue goes off to college, marries and realizes her dreams of becoming a movie screenwriter. However she returns home grief stricken not only is she carrying the pain of her losing her baby but also losing her husband to a divorce and her life in California as a screenwriter. She comes home to get away from it all but in the process re-establishes her friendships.
The romance aspect of this story is at times swoon worthy! Thomas is the perfect guy, you cannot help but fall in love with him. He is a little slow when it comes to the romance department but its understandable as he doesn’t want to lose the most important person in his life which is Blue. Seriously at times its comical when his friends tease him about it.
Now both of them have past hurts and things that they need to deal with which makes these characters very relatable. It makes the story so emotional when they finally just lay it all down and make amends with God and fully start relying on Him. I won’t ruin the story for you but boy there are definitely some characters (one in particular that you just want to slap over the head!) Trust me you will know who I am talking about as soon as you read it!
Overall I thought this story was a good one! It was my first by this author but definitely won’t be my last! I have already added her to my TBR authors list!
I received a copy of this book through Just Read. I was not required to post a positive review. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
Janine Rosche has etched herself a spot on my favorite contemporary romance authors. How she manages to bring so much charm, laughter and swoony moments into a book, yet balances it with some tough issues, moments that you have reaching for the tissues, and hitting your heart is all the right places. This book is a plethora of emotions, but boy oh boy is it good.
Blue. Her character just really spoke to my heart. She had such heartache and turmoil in her life, and while mine is absolutely nothing like hers, Rosche writes her character in such a relatable way that you feel as if you’ve been there with her. You get where she’s coming from, and you can just connect with her. I typically connect with characters that I have experiences in common with, and so this was such a pleasant surprise for me.
And let’s not forget our swoony hero. Yeah, Thomas is just that. Swoony. I mean the guy goes into a burning building to save people. Need I say more? Yes I do lol. His heart. He has such a heart for people, and is just totally humble about it. He doesn’t want to make a big deal out of stuff, he just wants to do what’s right. Um….where are these guys in the real world!? Just kidding. Thomas had his own issues too, but Rosche dealt with those in a very surprising and satisfying way.
I’m not going to lie, I do not want this series to end. But perhaps Rosche will find a new cast of characters to grace us with! And this girl cannot wait to find out. I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I absolutely loved this book. It’s an amazing ending to the Madison River Series. Make sure to read the series in order, though.
In Glory Falls, we see Thomas and Blue as they struggle to overcome very deep hurt in both their lives. I adore the friends to more trope, and Rosche does it so well.
I love Janine Rosche’s writing style. She deals with very real world problems, and over the course of the book, leads you through the whole gamut of emotions. I laughed, swooned, cried, and mourned with the characters of Glory Falls.
I’m so sad to see the series come to an end, but I know Rosche will draw me into her next story immediately.
I was given a copy of this book to review, and all opinions are my own. A positive review was not required.
“We’re fallen people – even the best of us. Our job is to try and then do everything we can to make things right when we fail.”
I can’t believe this is my first Janine Rosche book. When I initially heard all the buzz about her books last year, I hadn’t had the bandwidth to invest in a new author but I’m so glad that I did now. Filled with gut-wrenching raw emotions, lovable yet broken and hurting characters, and tangible faith lessons, the story is well-crafted and perfect for those who love contemporary romance.
The lifelong friendship between Blue and Thomas is a treasure and I really enjoyed all the flashbacks and their nostalgic reminiscence. Their backstories, especially what happened while their friendship drifted apart, emerge slowly at just the right times in the plot to give a complete picture of who Blue and Thomas are now and what motivates them. There is heart-wrecking grief as Blue struggles with the loss of her child and marriage and as she swims in a sea of insecurity. Thomas’ grief, guilt and fear are equally heart-breaking and truly shows what kind of a hero he is. Blue and Thomas are both very complex characters and I loved getting to know them one layer at a time. And Thomas! He is the epitome of a swoony hero – so humble, dependable, loyal, noble, and sacrificial. This book has all the feels as well as redemption, forgiveness, and a happily-ever-after.
If you enjoy contemporary romance, this book is a must-read for 2021!
I received a copy of the book via JustRead Publicity Tours and all comments are solely my own.
Rosche is the master of the written word. She can take two individuals, one of which has been existing on the fringe of her previous novels and weave his story so deep into your heart, you won’t be able to let go.
Thomas, currently a firefighter in West Yellowstone, is an everyday hero. For the past 2 years he’s been disregarding his own life for the sake of others. The one person he has always loved, Blue, couldn’t be more untouchable than she was back during his childhood. She literally saved him from the trauma of his family, and he has loved her ever since.
With the tragedy of loosing her two year old daughter to the Madison River only a couple years earlier, and the loss of a marriage with an unfaithful movie star husband, Blue is back in her summer home of West Yellowstone, Montana. Next door neighbor, childhood friend and unrequited love, Thomas is still too far from her reach, despite being within touching distance. As she tries to tackle the grief and loss of her child, she tries to connect with her once best-friend, despite the distance that seems ever present.
One thing is for sure, both Thomas and Blue are suffering some major PTSD – for different reasons. I was really glad that this story highlighted the long term effects of either not fully understanding truth, or never facing trauma will do to a person. Ignoring the pain or trying to conceal it with activities that alleviate guilt will never bring true healing. This story brought these characters full circle, with just the right amount of drama, and edge of your seat action. Some scenes brought smiles to my face, as I appreciated the genuine connections the group of friends in West Yellowstone brought to life.
Glory Falls will be appreciated by the romance reader looking for depth in the characters, and a story full of heart.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. This is my honest review.
