I fantastic start to a new series. Alora is kidnapped from Earth by the Sul’ox that are sex slavers. She has been bought and paid for before she ever leaves Earth. She behaves for the slavers hoping they will let her go. When they arrive at the market, she finds that she is not the only victim. While at the market waiting for her buyer a Minak offers to buy money to use her for a couple of hours. While it is bargaining, Torryn, a Brehk, that is looking for his cousin stumbles upon the situation. He steps in and prevents the Minak from using her. Torryn recognizes that Alora is his mate and pays off the Minak to go elsewhere. The slaver give her to Torryn and he takes her home. Now he must convince her that they are mates and that he doesn’t own her. Meanwhile a betrayal is in progress. A learning journey begins for both of them.

This is the great start of a new series. The series starts with Alora stolen from Earth and taken to Elista 3 to be picked up by her new buyer. Before her new owner shows up, Torryn saves her from being raped and possibly killed by another alien. From here the story tells of how their relationship grows to the point she is claimed by Torryn as his true mate. The story is well written, entertaining and leads up to the next book in this series. I would highly recommend it as a great read.
This sweet little tale was a simple, easy read. It was an adorable love story. The plot was not very well-developed or believable, but I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. I look forward to the next in the series.
