What do I look like, a baby machine?I swear all my family wants from me is kids. Or at least my mother does. But I’m the black sheep of the family. The one that left for bigger and better things. No farm for me. I’m a self-made billionaire bad boy now.Real estate is the game and making money is my thing. All is well in my bachelor-like world until I rent a cottage on my property to a beautiful … rent a cottage on my property to a beautiful grade-school counselor.
Sweet. Curvy. Smart as hell.
This woman shouldn’t be out of my league, but it feels like she most certainly is.
Good thing she falls for me too. I need a fake girlfriend to take back home, and I’m hoping she’ll be up for the ruse.
Which she is not. Go figure.
Things don’t always work out the way I plan, especially when she’s hiding something from me.
A baby. One I didn’t think I wanted until it was inside of her.
She’s walking away and I’m begging. I don’t need forever to win her back.
Just give me the weekend.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

This is the second book that I have read from this author and I loved it just as much as the first that I have read. Taydom and Elsie were so good together. The chemistry between them was off the charts. Really loved this friend to lovers/fake relationship romance. They both needed each other to help get through the issues and tragedies that they are facing. You will be pulled into this story from page one and it won’t let you go until the very last page. Wonderful character and a great story line. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to read more from this author.
I read an early review copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.
Weston Parker brings an explosive friends to lovers, fake girlfriend romance that has the right amount of drama, fun flirting, pulls at your heartstrings, chemistry that sizzles, suspense, twists/turns and lots of passionate banter. Taydom and Elsie will pull you in while they journey to a happily ever after. A definite winner!
I received a free copy of this book via the Parker ARC Team and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
Good well written story and entertaining and enjoyable characters. I volunteered to read this arc for my honest opinion
This is a good read. Elsie and Taydom, are great characters. They have such awesome chemistry from the initial meeting and it flows right through the story.
Elsie is grieving the loss of her mother while trying to move on with her life. Taydom is very successful in his chosen career, however, he never answers questions about his private life. Yet there is something about Elsie that makes him want to talk and show his true self.
The story is also about family, their expectations and staying true to oneself, no matter what occurs.
Elsie has recently lost her mom and is trying to get her life back on track when she meets Taydom a real estate mogul at a house showing. They become friends but overtime they’re friendship turns into something more. This was a wonderfully written romance. The main characters were likable and had amazing chemistry. There was drama, emotions, a little angst, romance and love. Highly recommend!
I received an advanced readers copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
I enjoyed this book so much. It’s fast paced and, for me, it was “unputdownable” !! Taydom and Elsie’s chemistry is off the charts. The storyline is very entertaining and the characters are likable and interesting. Great read. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review
I have enjoyed the previous books in this series but this is my fav so far. This story is about Taydom and Elsie. Elise takes after her Psychology teacher mom and is a guidance counsellor as well as PhD candidate in Psychology at Central U in Dallas. She’s always been very close to her mom and is devastated when she’s informed her mother died from a sudden heart attack. Elise uses her inheritance to go back to school full time. Taydom is a well known commercial real estate giant in Texas. He is a rude but mysterious billionaire, bachelor playboy. His hard work and devotion to the job eventually led to the founding of Gaines Inc. The story is meticulously created with likeable character who show personal growth, eventually. I voluntarily received an arc copy of this book from the author and purchased a copy as well
Taydom is a wildly successful real estate broker who keeps his private life extremely private. He comes from humble farmer roots in a small town in Illinois, where soybean farmers are struggling because of industry changes. His father refuses to accept any financial help from him because he is still unwilling to forgive that Taydom chose a different life than farming.
Elsie is very intelligent and very sweet, seriously rocked by the unexpected death of her mother with whom she had a very close relationship. She has been working as a guidance counselor in a school, but decides to continue her education and pursue her doctorate degree.
She encounters Taydom at an open house that she mistakenly attends, and then fate throws them together again. Theirs is an unconventional friends to lovers to friends to lovers relationship. Rest assured, this great couple does achieve their HEA, and there is a wonderful epilogue. I thought the book was well written and rounded out with interesting secondary characters; it would be great to see both Beth and Riley have their stories told!
Taydom and Elsie’s story is filled with friendship, hardships, denial of feelings, steam, and ultimately a beautiful HEA. Elsie is shattered when her mother suddenly dies from a heart attack. Taydom is a billionaire who is not looking for a relationship. As these two randomly meet and feel an attraction, their chemistry grows. There are definitely struggles in their story, but it ends with a beautiful HEA. I received an advanced readers copy of this book and highly recommend it! WONDERFUL!
Give Me the Weekend is a fake relationship must read! Strong independent characters who have plenty of lol moments and help one another out. They go through real life issues and help one another out, they’re funny and imperfect. Their relationship is up and down yet their chemistry is magnetic and sizzling.
*I was given a copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I am really glad I started reading Weston’s books and they have all been good. They have a nice balance between the story and the steamy stuff, which is more tasteful than most. Must be getting old! Poor Taydom doesn’t have a chance. It’s the ones that fight the hardest go down fast. Elsie is a middle school counsellor working on her doctorate. She goes to an open house and meets him. Before he realizes what he’s doing, he offers her his guest cottage, which is closer to her school. She is grieving her mother’s sudden passing and he is desperately trying to help his prideful father with financial stress with the family farm. Deceiving just never seems to work out well. And, there is birth control failure. Great book! Read it!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Taydom is a billionaire realtor. Elsie just lost her mother and since she has an inheritance she is looking to buy a home. She goes to an open house that Taydom is showing. She loves the place but it’s too expensive. Taydom is so happy to meet her and when Elsie leaves he wished he got her number. Well doesn’t he meet her again helping her friend at her food truck. He offers her a place to stay. It just so happens to be his cottage in his backyard. They hit it off and they both want more but don’t say anything about it.
The chemistry between Taydom and Elsie radiates off the page. They come together under interesting circumstances. They have a wild ride through the book. You will not want to put the book down for one second. The book is well written with wonderfully flawed main characters and caring secondary characters. I can’t wait to see what comes next from Weston.
Talk about an emotional roller coaster. This story will grab at your heartstrings and make you fall in love with Elsie and Taydom. Bewarned that once you start reading you will find this book hard to put down. Taydom’s a billionaire bad boy who mother wants him to settle down and have kids. That’s the last thing he wants or so he thinks. A fake girlfriend ruse, some mistakes, drama and twists. Sometimes we don’t know what we really want until we’re about to lose it. Weston Parker has written another great romance that will warm your heart. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.
Taydom and Elsie’s story is full of fireworks. He needs a girlfriend to take home to his family, and Elsie just isn’t having it at first. This is a friend’s to romance story that was sweet and steamy. I was hooked until the very end.
Another winner from Weston Parker!
Taydom and Elsie’s story grabbed me and would not let go. The shock at the beginning with Elsie really hit me hard and broke my heart for her. Her friend was awesome and really helped her. Taydom is a real estate agent and has a reputation as being rude. However, he doesn’t show that side to Elsie. He shows his softer side and lets her into his life more than even his friend. I wanted to kick his father and brother, but that is one of the things that makes these books awesome for me. The family isn’t perfect and they are more real than others out there. I just loved everything about this book.
I received an ARC of this book for my honest review.
This was a very sweet slow build romance. There were a times that I despaired over how slowly it built, but overall, I really enjoyed watching Taydom and Elsie get to know one another before the chemistry took over. I loved how independent Elsie was and I really appreciated that Taydom wasn’t the same kind of jerk player as his best friend. Like so many Parker books before this one, the ending is my favorite scene. It’s silly and sweet and just captures all the feels.
I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
Emotional and stimulating
Elsie, a school guidance counselor, goes to an open house held by Taydom, billionaire real estate mogul, and they strike up a conversation. As the story progresses an offer for help is accepted, a casual relationship blooms, and if they want it to become more they must learn the value of deep connection and conversation. Weston Parker’s Give Me the Weekend is emotional and stimulating with a great romance story to support.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Down-Home Romance – 5 Stars
This story was a real down-home romantic tale. This romance evolved over and took time to fully grow and mature. Once seeded, the love solidified and carried both the main male and main female characters through to their happily-ever-after. There was wonderful camaraderie between both the main male character`s best friend and the main female character`s best friend. Familial love, support and values played a significant role throughout this story. Good stuff!
