What do I look like, a baby machine?I swear all my family wants from me is kids. Or at least my mother does. But I’m the black sheep of the family. The one that left for bigger and better things. No farm for me. I’m a self-made billionaire bad boy now.Real estate is the game and making money is my thing. All is well in my bachelor-like world until I rent a cottage on my property to a beautiful … rent a cottage on my property to a beautiful grade-school counselor.
Sweet. Curvy. Smart as hell.
This woman shouldn’t be out of my league, but it feels like she most certainly is.
Good thing she falls for me too. I need a fake girlfriend to take back home, and I’m hoping she’ll be up for the ruse.
Which she is not. Go figure.
Things don’t always work out the way I plan, especially when she’s hiding something from me.
A baby. One I didn’t think I wanted until it was inside of her.
She’s walking away and I’m begging. I don’t need forever to win her back.
Just give me the weekend.
Every good girl deserves a bad boy. ~ Weston

Another wonderful romance story by Weston Parker. If you believe in soul mates, then this book will grab your heart strings. Good storyline as well as characters.
Our Hero, Taydom, is a self-made billionaire who dared to leave his family farming business in search of a different life. Our heroine, Elsie, wears her compassionate heart on her sleeve and wants the best for the kids she counsels at her school. She receives some devastating news that turns her world upside down. She meets Taydom during an open house and doesn’t realize that he’s one of the richest bachelors in Texas. A fateful encounter provides the opportunity for them to reconnect since the first time they parted without giving each other phone numbers.
I enjoyed the way their friends with benefits relationship progressed, and of course, both were afraid to admit real feelings starting to develop. Family drama brings things to an adventurous climax where things tied up in fairytale HEA.
After suddenly losing her mother, Elise decides she needs a change of scenery. She is on the hunt to buy or rent a new house. When she is wandering through an open house she runs into Taydom, a real estate mogul bad boy, who finds Elise to be drop dead gorgeous. The start an unlikely friendship that turns to a friends with benefits relationship. After months of being friends she agrees to go home with him to meet his parents. She thinks it is as friends. He is actually using her as a cover story – he told his parents he was bringing his girlfriend home to meet them, when he is actually trying to find a way to help them save the family farm.
This was a fun and cute story but I did not get the bad boy player vibe from Taydom that I think I was supposed to. I really enjoyed their banter and how their relationship grew and changed from friends to friends with benefits to realizing that they are in love with each other. Very sweet and fun. Although the title is off for me since it somewhat misleading. Their relationship bloomed in more than a weekend. It leads you to believe that this is kind of an insta over the weekend kind of book when it wasn’t at all. This was my first Weston Parker book but probably won’t be my last.
This is one of the few books that had me smiling as I read the last page- not because I’m glad it was over, but because it’s one of those heartwarming HEA’s. There’s something about new-to-me author Weston Parker’s writing that made me want to keep reading until I finished the whole thing. This book was hard to put down!
The attraction that Taydom and Elsie felt for one another was palpable from the moment they met. Their story is sweet, charming, steamy, and like I said, heartwarming. I’d love for Riley, Andrew, and Beth to get their own HEA’s too!
Give Me the Weekend is a fake relationship, surprise/secret baby contemporary billionaire romance written in dual first-person POV. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
I loved Weston Parker’s “Give Me the Weekend,” a sweet, charming, funny, and heartwarming story featuring endearing, well-developed characters and an engaging plot. The relationship development between main characters Elsie and Taydom was perfectly paced, as they had a chance to get to know each other and become friends before they jumped into a romantic relationship. They both seemed rather lonely and like they needed someone special in their lives when the story began, so it was very easy for me to hope for them to find happiness with each other.
I particularly liked the female lead, Elsie, who was grieving the loss of her mother when she first met Taydom but seemed to be coping magnificently. I loved that Elsie brought out a friendlier, more open side of Taydom, who seemed kind of hard-edged in the beginning of the story, particularly during his early interaction with the reporter. Despite their very different backgrounds and career paths, Taydom and Elsie were well-matched; they were both driven to succeed and knew what they wanted to achieve, at least in terms of their careers. Their personal lives weren’t quite as organized, but when they met each other, things quickly fell into place for them both.
Elsie was lucky to have such good support from her friend Beth, who seemed genuinely caring and also like a lot of fun. I enjoyed Taydom’s friend Andrew too, who was perhaps a bit immature, but still flirty and fun. I would be happy to read about either one of them in a future story. I’m not entirely sure if I could see them together, but I am open to persuasion!
“Give Me the Weekend” was the first book I’ve read by Weston Parker, but I’m certain that it will not be the last. I highly recommend it for all fans of contemporary romance.

Give Me the Weekend Review: Weston Parker – 5/10/20
A sweet story about a school counselor helping a 12-year old “become a tween” having a working Mom who isn’t around much to help with her transition from 11 to 13. Loved the way the story unfolds with great memories of a single mother lost too soon, a psychology degree put to the forefront and then something interesting happens with a chance meeting with a Real Estate Agent that changed her world and his. Love is something not looking for, not necessarily wanting but in the end the only thing that matters….

GIVE ME THE WEEKEND by Weston Parker is the story of Taydom Gaines and Elsie Landrum.
Taydom didn’t go the family route of staying on the farm and having a family. Instead Taydom became a very rich and successful Real Estate mogul mostly doing commercial business but still does a few residential jobs. This is how Taydom meets Elsie when she comes to a showing. Elsie is a school consular who is working on getting her PhD in psychology. Elsie has had devastating news not to long ago that her mother who she was really close to died. So Elsie is left know just trying to get past her sadness with the help of her friend. Now she feels that maybe finding a new place to stay would be the key to moving forward. This leads her to meet Taydom who she is attracted too but she assumes he is just interested in her to make a deal. But they soon meet again giving them a second chance which leads him to offer her his guest house to stay out. Both start to find something in each other that makes them feel whole. This was a really great story! I hope to read more from this author soon. Loved it!
I so enjoyed Elsie and Taydom’s journey from fake to so much more. It’s a nicely developed bad boy romance with some emotional parts and entertaining moments. Cyrus is a hard working real estate mogul who enjoys his playboy ways. He has no trouble getting women but he wants no commitments. Until she came into his world. Elsie is suffering from the sudden loss of her mother.
She decides to go back to school and wants to live somewhere close to school. This is a good story that is well written. I really love the characters and the plot is captivating and intriguing.
Wow what a phenomenal new novel from Weston Parker. It is such a heartwarming story filled with heartache, grief, passion, second chances, family, self discovery, and love. Elsie while studying for he PhD in psychology is faced with a sudden and shattering lose. Taydom is a successful commercial real estate owner and had no desire to take over the family business. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and while neither was looking for love and acceptance that is what this novel is all about. I loved these characters and the challenges they had to face in order to find happiness. Readers will love this new captivating must read from Weston Parker.
“I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this novel.”
Another great story from Weston Parker! Both Taydom and Elise are wonderful, likable characters, with plenty of layers we get to see, and great interactions and dialogue between them. This story has got some good humorous moments, a sprinkle of suspense and a fantastic evolving relationship between Elise and Taydom.
Omg where do I begin with this fantastic book? I absolutely fell in love with Elsie and Taydom. Elsie is looking for a house and meets Taydom at an open house and he gives her his card .they meet up again and he has an idea to let her live in the cottage behind his house ,but when he has to go see his family he tells his family he has a girlfriend. He is hoping Elsie will help him out but when feelings are involved can they make it through the visit? Fantastic book.
This is a good story but not one of Westin Parker’s best books. I guess I wanted Taydom to be a little badder. He was pretty mild except for a few exchanges with Drew in the beginning. He had that protective vibe I love, but never really had the opportunity to use it.
But, I have to say it – Taydom? What kind of name is that? I tried to imagine someone uttering his name in the throes of passion, and I’m just not seeing it. That was really a tough thing for me to get over in this book – sorry about that.
All things considered, the book was certainly worth the read and had a satisfactory conclusion.
Taydom and Elsie meet when she goes to view a show house that he has listed unbeknownst to her. There is an immediate and palpable chemistry between them but both seem to try to hide it. Weston Parker has composed for us a real treat in this story. The storyline is realistic and interesting with a wonderful HEA [he always delivers HEA’s so that’s no spoiler!] I loved Elsie’s best friend, Beth, who is a hoot and supportive BFF whilst Taydom’s BFF, Andrew is a real manwhore everything about the ‘party time’ they can have. Life gets complicated when Taydom learns that his family is in danger of losing their farm. But as he has a difficult relationship with his father [who doesn’t understand why he wouldn’t stay working on the farm, and offering money to help will be refused and cause arguments. So how can he go home with a valid excuse? Take a girlfriend home for the first time maybe?? Now who would possibly agree to visit with him? Hmmm! This book is believable with fabulous characters and Tay’s Mum is lovely too. I liked the banter and how their best friends tried ,in their own ways,to help guide them. Definitely sizzlingly hot and steamy scenes between Elsie and Tay enough to make you reach for the aircon and fans. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Weston’s next literary delight for us to enjoy. I received a reader’s copy of this and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here. MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!
Another great story by Weston Parker
This book was incredible, very interesting, and as always very well written.
The story and characters he always brings to live are fantastic, and there is no doubt that he should be a one-click author in your list.
This time he brings a love story between a gorgeous curvy school counselor and an full on alpha Real State Agent.
The chemistry between the Elsie and Taydom was spot on and hot.
The banter and flirtatious moments between them were extremely entertaining and very enjoyable.
I also loved the fact that there were the perfect amount of drama with the perfect amount of emotions.
As always, Weston knows how to bring us perfect love story that will definitely melt your heart.
Give Me the Weekend is my first read from author Weston Parker and may I say he checked off all the boxes for a great book for me.
Taydom and Elise is a perfect slow burn of friends to lovers that has so many layers and self discoveries.
Elise is substituting as a middle school guidance counselor and is also on track to finish her PhD in psychology. Her mother who raised her passes away suddenly and not only did she loose a parent but also her best friend and mentor. She decides that a move closer to campus is in store and begins the search.
Taydom is a real estate mogul that has come along way from working on the family farm. He is a self made billionaire that has developed quite a reputation for being hard nosed and closed off. He is not looking for love and is content to keep his nose to the grind stone.
A chance meeting at an open house with a lovely smart counselor who really has no idea who he is and his world is a bit off kilter. He finds himself saying and doing things that is so out of characters for him, He wants to help her find a house, and make sure she is safe and spend time with her. They are not looking for love but sometimes it just may find you !
This couple is so refreshing! They are sweet, smart, sexy have a wonderful witty banter and their chemistry is sizzling off the pages !

A bad boy romance story with a great storyline, friends to lovers/fake girlfriend. This story has chemistry, banter, drama and suspense. A well written book with great characters. Loved it!
Absolutely loved it! Elsie had me hooked from the start. She has such a huge caring heart that we could see immediately. Taydom is this strong, smart, this is how it is type of guy and I loved that about him. You could feel the chemistry between them, that fire and pull. The story is great, I loved all the characters, the moments that made my heart twist, then smile and just fall in love with them both. I would LOVE to see a story with Taydom’s brother Riley, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for that farm boy story. This is a must.
This is another fabulous bad boy story by Weston Parker. Elsie is a grade school counselor who goes back to school and rents Taydon’s cottage. He is a billionaire, player a real estate tycoon and way out of Elsi’s league but he is obsessed by the curvy girl. They start this friendship that looks like so much more, but their denying of an ongoing relationship is what makes the story to much fun to read. Another great heartwarming story, with great characters and an amazing storyline. I honestly volunteered to review this story.
Elsie Landrum filled in as a guidance counselor for the woman on maternity leave. She has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Psychology and is now working on her Doctorate. Her mother died suddenly of a heart attack. Taydom Gaines firm Gaines Inc. is the biggest commercial real estate company in Texas. He hasn’t been home because of his father. He hosts an open house for a client and meets Elsie. Taydom and Elsie have explosive chemistry and their storyline kept me entertained. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
It was engrossing and pulled me right in, leaving me unable to put it down. There were parts that I had tears running down my cheeks, It was hot and emotional, yet sensitive and I loved the happily ever after!
