Didn’t put it down
It was an OK book–interesting and plot twists. But it moved slowly and the main storyline is not realistic–with an LAPD cop allowed off work for an unlimited time without her superiors following up. But–I enjoyed the story.
I liked this book overall, but the premise was a bit farfetched. The writing was not very emotional; more matter-of-fact. Also, I detest PROFANITY & SEXUAL situations, of which there was plenty.
This book started out ok then just kept adding characters. Didn’t finish it
I actually didn’t finish this book, as it became so ridiculous to the point of inane. Started out pretty good the first few books, but the whole plot thing was so unrealistic, my brain couldn’t entertain it any longer. I gave up!
Dragged out too much. Lost interest, but did read to the end.
I read 1550 pages out of 1700+ of this book, but in the 4th book, it became tedious and unbelievable. I thought the first three books were exciting and easy to read. I don’t know what happened in the fourth, but I couldn’t finish it.
Interesting story line and some guessing to who “knows” not sure they are actually different books as one ends and the next one starts just like a chapter. I think that’s a little odd, maybe one big book with 4 parts if you wanted different “names” but you have to read them all to get the whole story.
If you like science fiction and a mystery, this set is for you.
Great series.
I like it when the good guys win. So, there is a lot to like in this book. Many interesting subplots will keep you up late at night because you will want to find out what comes next.
Had to skip over a lot of unneeded information. The main character, who was suppose to be a brilliant law enforcement officer, missed a lot of clues! When I start a book I have to finish it, but it was grueling.
Good read … but very much distracted by the grammatical and spelling errors. Also several incidences of totally wrong word … though it sounded correct. Cannot recommend.
Too long and drawn out. At least a third of the book is describing what they ate and drank.
Terrible ending
Not for me. I don’t need action in every paragraph but I made it through 4 chapters before giving up. There was nothing there to grab and hold your attention. Onward to some other (and hopefully better) book.
This is really just one book, not four. Not very well written, although the lead character Gabi is well imagined. This writer is fairly good with characterization but not as good with plot. Be interesting to read if the author can improve on the story lines next time around.
I like mysteries, and this fit.
Although I struggled thro I think it was too far fetched
Just kind of middle of the road.
