The Hunger Games meets The Twilight Saga in this new dystopian romance. Two worlds. One glass wall. No turning back. The human race has been divided. The chosen few live in the safety of the domes, watching through their glass walls as those left on the outside suffer and die. But desperation has brought invention. New drugs have the ability to alter humans, giving them the strength to roam the … alter humans, giving them the strength to roam the poisoned night unafraid—but survival comes at a terrible price.
Seventeen-year-old Nola Kent has spent her life in the domes, training to protect her little piece of the world within the glass. The mission of the domes is to preserve the human race, not to help the sick and starving.
When the fate of an outsider child falls into her hands, Nola dares to venture beyond the security of her home, diving into a world of darkness and vampires. Life within the glass didn’t prepare her for the realities of suffering or the depth of forbidden love.
When blood washes over the domes, Nola must choose between her home and her heart.

Author Interview
What inspired you to write Girl of Glass?
I wanted to write a story that combines a mid-apocalyptic world with the excitement of the paranormal—weaving vampires, werewolves, and a touch of zombie action into a story about a girl living in privilege at the end of civilization.
What makes Girl of Glass a different kind of dystopian tale?
Most dystopian books are written from the point of view of the downtrodden. You’re seeing everything through the eyes of the people desperately trying to survive from day to day. Nola is one of the privileged few chosen to survive the apocalypse. Seeing the end of the world from the point of view of the chosen 1% helps to explore the question of what our obligation is to help those who suffer.
Why would readers enjoy Girl of Glass: The Complete Collection?
With a mix of romance, danger, vampires, and survival against terrible odds, Girl of Glass offers readers a unique story that will keep them up late, desperate to find out what comes next.

I thoroughly enjoyed this box set and recommend it to all young adult and adult readers for it’s a story that aside from the supernatural element could very conceivably happen in this country or any other country for that matter if the leaders of said countries decide that only the elite should be saved and the workers left out to perish due to bad air, water, lack of food and medicine caused by mismanagement of the earth’s resources.
The story centers around a young girl named Nola who lives in the domes but is bothered by the plight of the people on the outside who aren’t protected by the environmental catastrophes that have beset the world due to negligence on the part of leaders who are now safely behind domes of glass themselves.
She meets a boy she knew in the domes before he and his father were kicked out of the domes and old feelings resurface. Using a note he leaves her, she seeks him out and her life is forever changed. She returns to the domes but an incident happens which makes it impossible for her to remain there. She is pursued by a boy who loves her and only wants to always protect her and when he finds her near death injects her with a serum that makes her like he is- one with superhuman strength and stamina. Those on the outside to survive have also turned to drugs but those drugs have made them vampires, werewolves or if the drug is bad into zombies. These three groups prey on the humans left outside the domes who haven’t sought drugs to kill them or change them into what they are now.
The series shows even when altered there some who still want the basic necessities of life clean air, water, food and medicine and to be left alone from the incursions of those who want to kill them! It’s a page turning story full of excitement and loathing of those who live in the glass domes letting those on the outside die of disease and starvation. Through skirmishes one knows a final confrontation with those in the domes is inevitable and it builds towards that climax in the final book of the series!
This is a very well written series as are any books written by the one and only Megan O’Russell! Her books are a pure delight to read and her writing is top notched for I felt I was there with the characters in the stories through the successes and the tragedies that befell those whom they knew in the domes and outside of them.
Kudos Megan for an exciting and thoughtful story that will stay with readers for a long time!
What can I say about this series? Absolutely awesome and I loved each and every one of the stories. The best way to read a series – one straight after the other. The main characters were terrific – Nola, Jeremy and Kieran. The end of the world as we know it. Tragedy. Fighting. Survival. Lots of death. And love.
Wow this is an amazing read. This Author has built an amazing world with the Supernatural. Nola is a Heroine I really love this couple. She does what she feel is for the best of everyone. But could there be a cost. This is a fast paced and action packed read that had me on the edge of my seat. This book collection is up there with Twilight and Supernatural. This is definitely a must read. That you can binge on for hours. This Author has brought forth a read and has an amazing talent that shows in this more than a five star read.
