A gripping end up your seat thriller! A new girl dies every Halloween in a lake and the killer is never found. Ariana is the next girl taken, down to repeat the same story just like the other girls. Alex and Zoey race to find their missing daughter, but each time they get 1 spot closer to finding her, the killer is 1 step head. Will they save her in time? Also, you’ll never guess who the killer turns out to be.
Interesting and fast moving!
I really liked the storie line and couldn’t put it down
This book was a real page turner for me. I even lost sleep over it as I could not put it down. Great twist at the end.
While I very much enjoyed this book I didn’t care for the ending. The author tried too quickly to explain unanswered questions essentially fleshing out major parts of the story in just a few pages.
A child abduction is always a scary book to read. I enjoyed this book and found it easy to read, without being too scary.
Absolutely amazing. I was hooked from the beginning. So many twists and turns you never know what’s going to happen next. Talk about a thrilling novel.
Good story. Loved how Ariana’s father would let nothing stop him from helping his daughter. Pretty unbelievable though how he was able to be so involved in the case. I seriously doubt a police captain would let a civilian get so totally involved, even to the point of risking his own career. The book is definitely worth reading and I will read other books from this author
Loved the characters so much I had to read the other books in this series.
idk
Was a story that I could easily put down. Characters were not sufficiently developed so never felt that interested in them. Young child was the most interesting. Not enough to be a page turner. Ending seemed to be rushed and glossed over.
Great read that keeps you interested and wanting to finish the book.
I’m hooked on this series. This was the start. The characters are believable. They have quirks and problems just like real people.
Would recommend this book, kept me guessing all the way thru.
A girl is kidnapped and it by a man who has been doing this for 30 years as a serial killer trying to make things right for him but it never works.
Unfortunately, although I liked the idea of the plot, the character development was excessive. My brain kept repeating “Just get on with it, please!”
On the edge mystery
I really liked this book, would recommend it to anyone who likes mysteries.
Ok but I struggled to continue reading it in some parts.
This book is a real page turner! I read at night to go to sleep, but I could not stop reading until I forced myself to stop at 1:00 am. The characters were believable and acted just like real people. Even though I was anxious to get to the conclusion, I really did not want the book to end. It has a good ending plus a real surprise. If you love mysteries that keep you on pins and needles without the gore, you will love this book!
