The hot guy… school nemesis. I’m prepared to hate him and find him annoying with his washboard abs and toothpaste commercial smile. What I’m not prepared for is how he’s looking at me…like he wants me.
…just might find their forevers underneath the mistletoe
Our parents are jointly hosting a 12 Days of Christmas party and we’re stuck together. Pretending to be civil isn’t that hard and one spontaneous kiss might change everything.

This was my first Christmas setting book for 2019, and loved it. Where I live, snow is something we don’t see often and we have had big temperature swings. I can relate to the t-shirt and short attire days before Christmas.
This particular novella touched a spot that many of us are familiar with – the past. Even though the past in this particular case isn’t one that is very distant, it shows us there are always two sides, the things we focus on aren’t always the way we assume they are and that sometimes one person wished things didn’t go down as they did.
I love the chemistry between the two main characters. Ginger has spunk and is lovable from the opening sentences. We can’t forget about Brock. Let’s just say there are more than a few years difference between Brock and I but would love to see Brock myself. Kat outdone herself in the details. Those details that make you want to be either the heroine or the best friend. I love those moments.
I would love to see a series or at least a full length book dedicated to the characters we saw in this book. I am certain the fine folks of Sand Dollar will speak to Kat and demand for their stories to be told.

Your memories of the past can connect you.
I loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable even though it was short. The characters were easy to relate to and likable for the most part. I do wish that Chelsea had some kind of comeuppance but I guess I will have to let it go. Annie was a wonderfully supportive best friend to Ginger that wasn’t afraid to tell it like it is. Ginger was smart, sweet, and sassy with a soft side for family, friends, and students. Brock was a surprise to Ginger that she wasn’t prepared for. He was so different from how she remembered him that it made her re-examine their past. Brock was cocky, sexy, and a “scamp” as my grandfather would say. He definitely loved to tease Ginger and he did a lot of laughing while explaining why he thought it was funny to Ginger. I liked how the story ended but I do wish that there was an epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.
Loved this festive love story. Ginger and Brock were childhood best friends, until middle school when Brock started playing he popularity game. Now he’s back and determined to put things right with his friend and show her that he’s here to stay and that she’s the one he wants.
Ginger was a confident women but had some knock backs with her love life, so she finds it hard to understand why Brock would want her.
Great short story with HEA.
Ginger has considered Brock her nemesis since eighth grade when he took her to a dance and left her to kiss Chelsea all night.
Brock left after high school to pursue his education in Europe, now he’s back home with more adventurous plans.
It’s the Christmas party season and Ginger’s parents and some others have created twelve themed events to raise money for charity.
Her parent’s ugly sweater party is where Brock and Ginger meet up again.
Seems Brock has a bit of convincing to do before Ginger gives him more than the time of day.
A phone left behind leads to the second encounter and the realization they are both now adults has Ginger thinking of rekindling their friendship.
A fun Christmas tale with some snark and sizzle.
I love it when a story can make me smile, make my toes curl, and make me feel all the feels… and Gingerbread Kisses was all of that and more!! I’m wiping happy tears for Brock and Ginger. What a beautiful enemies to lovers (kinda)/childhood friends story. These two were so freaken hot that I’m surprised my fingers didn’t get singed as I swiped the pages on my kindle. I mean, wowza!! Kat Baxter, once again, wrote an amazing story with delicious characters… and I am definitely going to be re-reading this one. Totally the perfect holiday read.
