Sweet Historical Christian Romance
I was drawn in by the cover and the fun name. I was not disappointed! The narrator did a crazy Appalachian type accent that added to the enjoyment of this audiobook!
One of my absolutely favorites this book was amazing!
A delightful story of a young woman forced to pretend to be her own brother to inherit and a young man who studied to be a lawyer but wants to go into the ministry. When God brings them together in a most unexpected way, He seems to have other plans for the two of them. Come and she God uses them to help each other discover His plans and thwart some bad guys in the process. A fun read by a wonderful author.
I received a free copy of this book from the author and this is my honest opinion.
Loved this story!! Theo and Ginger were great! Bass was an extra bit of wonderful thrown in!! Theo learned that God can us for good in many different professions, and we can make a difference no matter where He leads us, as long as He’s the one leading and we listen! Theo learned the lesson well!! Ginger had had it a little rough, but she didn’t let that bring her down. She still remembered the lessons her mom had taught her, and still listened to God’s leading, though she was forced to lie by her stepfather. Everything comes out great in the end!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.
What a delightful and fun book full of twists and turns and great characters. This is Ginger and Theodore’s story and the challenges are many for each of them if they are to ever arrive at a HEA. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.
This book was so good! If you are looking for a well written book that holds you attention, grab this book. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop, I just had to know what happened next. I received an ARC copy and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
could not put down, just loved the characters and their story
What a superb book. A young lady whose stepfather is just plain mean. When he finds out his deceased nephew inherits a farm, he makes her dress like a boy (since he REALLY wants the farm). And so the deception begins. Even though she meets a man who she REALLY does not want to deceive.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
This was a very good book to read. It was captivating right from the beginning. I recommend buyers to purchase this book.
I did receive an advanced copy of the book from the publisher and the review is mine voluntarily.
This book was absolutely the best I have read in some time. I truly enjoyed her discriptions of all the characters and great suspense. I fell in love with Theo. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read. Marisa is a favorite author and this is a favorite series.
Ginger Snap/Guy Snap are one and the same, but are they truly. Can one tell the difference at a glance? Theo Edwards has come to Kearney, Nebraska to help at a law office at his fathers order.
Ginger feels she is on the wrong side of God now after agreeing with her Step Pappy to disguise herself as her brother Guy to inherit a farm from
her uncle after he passed.
She befriends a woman in town who will help her when she struggles, when she falters, and when she needs to escape. Theo is on her side as well, he just
isn’t aware at first it is Her side…
Can these two overcome the huge chasm that lies between them and find a life together?
This book is the best yet by this Author! I truly love her books and was given an ARC to read. The review is my own opinion.
Ginger Snap
Lockets and Lace, Book 25
By: Marisa Masterson
Narrated by: DL Merlin
Ginger Snap is a pleasure to listen to! Marisa Masteron creates a story of intrigue and suspense surrounding Ginger Snap. Unable to inherit land as a woman, she pretends to be her “brother” Guy. Theo, a young man on the path to become a lawyer has reservations about his chosen profession. Feeling the calling to become a pastor, he is pulled in a different direction. Now when he catches Ginger in pond, it becomes truly evident what God’s plan is for these two. Thrills, danger, corruption, and love all come into play in this wonderfully written story. I love Ginger. She is full of spunk, and is willing to do whatever she needs to. Theo is a man easy to fall for and together these two make an entertaining story.
DL Merlin is a new narrator to me, and she gives a wonderful performance. Each character has their own voice, and she easily transitions from male to female voices. Love her accent too! I enjoyed her performance and look forward to more.
