BIRDS OF A FEATHERImaginative, creative, brilliant are some of the accolades Bradley “Birdy” Dobbs enjoys as the creator of top-of-the-line designer gin. Flighty, crazy, and irresponsible are also monikers used to describe him, mostly by the parade of Relationship Managers – read: death and doomsday business wazzocks – the bank sends over to Birdy’s company, Ori-Gin. When the latest number … number cruncher shows up with propositions Birdy can live with – and some he’s aching to try – Jaydon Tyrell becomes the most important member of Birdy’s flock.

This story is wacky, fun and so memorable! It’s quite different and quirky and I just adored the characters and the premise – a quick and fun read with lots of sweetness!
Peacocks named for characters from Shakespeare, cockatoos with Tourettes, constant gin puns and eccentric distillery owners thought to be the spawn of Satan. Ahhh… definitely a world created by Susan Mac Nicol.
This quirky sweet little novie took me to my happy place as Birdy a gin distillery owner plowed through bank managers with the whimsy and flourish of a puppy through a freshly planted flower bed.
Drawing the short straw, Jaydon, one of the last bank managers available, takes up the mantle of trying to help Birdy and his business.
The two men upon meeting have instant chemistry. However, it takes time and patience on both sides before anything other than attraction is recognized. It takes a misunderstanding, some groveling from one of them to the other, and the help of a few friends on Valentine’s day to make things right again.
My favorite part… the epilogue. It was absolutely adorable and perfect. I knew when I got a teaser for this story a while back that it was going to be one I would love and it did not disappoint! That being said, Susan Mac Nicol stories never do!
If you are on the hunt for a quick read to make you smile, giggle, and just overall brighten your day, you cannot go wrong with, Gin Me Over!

Bradley “Birdy” Dobbs brews the best gin, award-winning gin, people love it. The other side is Birdy screws up business because… he just can’t.
Bank account business managers are coming and going.
The King of Sass and Sark he calls himself. I think he’s right. He’s an adorable geek who climbs into trees, photographed birds and has a big heart for his employees.
The next business manager is Jaydon Tyrell. Jay talks differently than the ones before him. He seems to understand him.
Jay is smitten by Birdy and his extraordinary behavior. He wants nothing more than to help Birdy.
There is a tiny bump in the road before they can be together.
A delightful story, about two adorable guys. It’s sweet, kind and humorous.
Just enough developed to get a feeling of a whole picture.
A fresh and light way of storytelling. I loved this shorty!
I loved it!
Gin Me Over is witty, entertaining and an all-round enjoyable story. It’s short, coming in at only 70 pages, but this author does a fantastic job of creating a story that seems much longer (in a very good way).
I’ve been a fan of Susan’s Men of London and Fetish Alley series but this is the first shorter book of hers that I’ve read and one of the most delightful. Birdy is a strange fellow but entirely likeable. He needs help with his business but Jaydon is the first person the bank has sent out that he has been able to tolerate.
The moment Jaydon sees Birdy he is captivated. He really gets Birdy and want to help him make his business more successful. An unfortunate incident threatens to break the good working relationship they’ve developed. But Jaydon wants more than to just do business with Birdy and knows he’ll have to come up with something special to win him back.
The story culminates with a great Valentine’s Day surprise and I loved everything about this short novella.

4.5 stars Aww a gorgeous little story for Birdy. He’s a sassy one that loved his business not wanting it to fail for his family employees. A little drama and emotions and feelings get hurt. A beautiful adventure ending to fulfill a final wish and a HEA.
Bradley aka Birdy had big troubles with his business keeping it afloat, lossing business managers wasn’t good thing.
Jaydan has a mission ahead of him but what he sees on there first meet made him melt.
Wow, this is shorter than I expected, I read it on my way to work :/
It is a really, really funny, full of puns and crazy birds story. Plus, there is Birdy, who is absolutely adorable but also unpredictable and CRAZY. He’s hilarious but also frustrating and “original”.
It is kinda weird, because it didn’t feel like a whole story, more like few first chapters of a book. I didn’t even realize I was 90% into the story. It is not something bad, but I feel like it ended abruptly when I wanted a start of some awesome love story 🙁 I was more than a little bit surprised and very disappointed.
The story is fast paced and well-written. It would be amazing to read more about Jaydon and Mr Dobbs.
