I think this series has a great future. I’m dying to read the next adventure. Very good world building and character development. 5 stars for sure on this one!
Chantilly Adair is back and she is honing her psychic medium skills. Chantilly is in the middle of planning a Haunted Castleberry tour for the Historical Society when her best friend Gen Avondale shows up out of the blue. Chantilly knows that something is wrong but Gen is not sharing. When Gen’s husband shows looking for her she tells him she is not there. Gen’s husband turns up dead not long after and the search for the murderer is on. Will Chantilly’s psychic medium skills help them to find clues and run down the killer? This is such a fun series, with the quirky characters you would expect in a small southern town, and of course the ghosts.
The second book in the Chantilly Adair Series is just as intriguing as the first! The characters are really well developed and quite interesting. Chantilly has to use her new “gift” of talking to ghosts to help solve crimes without getting locked up for being crazy! The personalities of the core cast of characters are so very entertaining that you can’t wait for the next book to visit with them again! The personalities of the characters definitely add depth to an already well plotted story line! Definitely a series you should pick up and read if you like a bit of the paranormal mixed into your cozy mystery!
Ghosts are People Too is Book Two in the Chantilly Adair Psychic Medium Cozy Mystery Series.
The series is developing at a well paced rate. Chantilly sees ghosts, but she hasn’t always, not until she fell down the stairs. To learn more about the backstory, check out Book 1, Get Up and Ghost: A Chantilly Adair Psychic Medium Cozy Mystery.
Chantilly’s friend Gen shows up unexpectedly with a bag of money , and I LOVE Gen’s character. Hopefully we will see her again soon.
This was a great mystery with lots of interesting characters. This is a stand alone book, but you’re totally missing out if you don’t read Book 1, its so great.
I HIGHLY recommend this book and I cannot wait for book 3 in this well written , fun series
Chantilly’s best friend Gen has arrived in Castleberry for a surprise visit. However, Gen isn’t visiting, she has a suitcase full of cash and needs help to find out what is going on with her husband. Chantilly in the meantime is planning a ghost walk for Castleberry. She puts Gen to work on the ghost walk party and then Chantilly is off to solve the mystery.

Chantilly has more murders to solve in the second book in the Chantilly Adair Psychic Medium Cozy Mystery series. She uses her special skills to speak to ghosts that assist with solving the murders. This is an entertaining and exciting story with engaging characters. I can’t wait to read the next installment in the series!
This is the 2nd book of of the Chantilly Adair Psychic Medium Cozy Mystery series and I love it. Chantilly is a great character and her best friend, Gen who came to visit from Birmingham to visit. When Gen’s husband, Jeffrey ends up dead after threatens both Chantilly and Gen, which causes Jack to suspects Gen. But it isn’t that easy of a mystery to solve. Then Jeffrey’s business partner, Harvey ends up dead. While that is all going Chantilly is getting ready for the Castleberry’s Historical Haunted Tour and helping the ghosts of Anne Kentworth and her children find peace.
I love Chantilly Adair’s character and all the characters of Castleberry, Georgia in this cozy series. This is the second book in the series. It was a very fun read. I can’t wait to read more of Chantilly’s Psychic Medium adventures. In the first book Chantilly takes a tumble down the stairs at the Historical Society and bonks her head really hard. She now has the ability to see ghosts, now the adventures begin!
This is just the second book of a new series and already I feel like I am friends with all of the characters! The author is doing a very nice job of building the series with a great underlying story and wonderful characters. Chantilly Adair sees ghosts. She hasn’t always seen ghosts, it all started when she took a tumble down the stairs and hit her head in book one. Her ability seems to be getting stronger, and her attitude is just wonderful in regards to helping her ghostly friends with their problems. In this book, her best friend from out of town shows up at her door for a surprise visit, but all is not what it seems. She has just left her husband, who ends up a corpse shortly after following her to Castleberry, Georgia where Chantilly is the director of the local historical society. All of the characters from the first book make an appearance in the second book, and I really hope the introduction of Gen, Chantilly’s friend, is a permanent addition to the series because she is just awesome! I believe this new series has all the ingredients I love in a good cozy mystery: Good friends, funny, lovable characters, a budding romance, and of course murder! I am a big fan of this author and have read every single book I can find by her, and this new series does not disappoint, and I definitely recommend starting with book number one to get the full feel of the story.
Chantilly works for the local historical society and she sees ghosts ever since she hit her head. She hasn’t really told anybody about seeing ghosts though so she really has to watch herself so people won’t think she’s nuts. She’s planning a ghost tour at some of the historical places where people have seen ghosts. When her best friend Gen shows up in town, Chantilly knows something is up. Gen isn’t her normal self. Soon after, there’s a murder. Chantilly has to look into it to help prove Gen’s innocence. This is a great book with ghosts, good friends, bad guys, danger and laughter. It hits all the right notes for me. I totally enjoyed the book and definitely recommend it.
I loved reading Ghosts are People Too! This book is interesting and fun. I love the characters! I really like how Chantilly is using her powers and how comfortable she has become. I enjoyed her interactions with the ghosts. The mystery has many twist and turns and keeps you guessing right to the end. The book was difficult to put down. I look forward to more in this series in the future.
Another fun read from a new favorite series. I kept thinking I’d read one more page but couldn’t put it down. Such wonderful characters with lots of surprise twists and help from unexpected places. Chantilly’s friend Gen was a great addition and hope to see her in future stories. The historical society really is a great place for lots of interesting stories. It was my pleasure to read an advanced copy.
