Frank Bowen attempts to piece together a fractured life at home but finds himself pulled back into the dark state once again.Only, this time, he’s playing both sides.Hired by John Rhodes, founding father of the Liberatus movement, his mission is to escort a valuable asset to South America. Then the spectre of Carl Paterson emerges and Frank finds he has to work once again with his old agency, … his old agency, Ghost 13.
Later, in the depths of the Colombian Darien Gap jungle – swarming with narcos, paramilitary groups and bandits – Frank finds death and evil wait around every corner in the most inhospitable place on earth.
This is the third fast-paced thriller in the Frank Bowen series by Jay Tinsiano.

This is the final book in the Frank Bowen Conspiracy Thriller series. While this could technically stand on it’s own, I think it would be better enjoyed after listening to Pandora Red. Some of this review may contain spoilers to that book.
Poor Frank’s personal life is a bit of a mess. After the kidnapping & events in the last book, he’s separated from his wife. While Frank had intended to give up field work to try to repair his marriage – finances drive him to one more case. And it’s a doozy. This was another enjoyable book full of action, suspense, and trying to determine who is good and who is not. Not everyone is allied as they seem and it makes it difficult for Frank to stay alive and complete his mission.
I liked the way Tinsiano wrapped up this series.
Narration:
Chris MacDonnell does a good job with narration again. A variety of voices & accents are well done. I always knew who was talking.
Conspiracy, intrigue and thrills. Discover who is chasing Frank and trying to kill him.
Frank is in need of financial help and is struggling to save his marriage. The governments are trying to outdo each other. Frank is hired to get a man from Europe to South America. It should be a fairly easy job except for the travel plans. Frank finds that he and the man he is delivering, Nero, are being followed. They are forced to travel through the jungles of Central and South America. After being shot at, chased and lost, they eventually arrive safely at their destination. Frank’s job is done so leaves for home. But turns around at the last minute. Read to discover the true end.
No such thing as a straightforward job for Frank…
Jay Tinsiano gives us another fast-paced, action-filled thriller with Frank Bowen as the lead character. Rest assured that when Frank is called into play, the assignment, no matter how straightforward it may seem, will always go off the rails with high adventure and plenty of twists and turns to hold your attention from start to finish. In this story, Frank is tasked with escorting an asset from one location to another. That sounds easy enough, but the journey that follows is filled with unexpected dangers, intrigue, and players whose loyalties are not what they seem. Should you choose to listen to the audio version of this story, know that the narrator, Chris MacDonnell, nails it with his performance.
While I did purchase a copy of this book, I was provided with a copy of the audiobook by the author and I am voluntarily offering this honest and unbiased review.
Ghost Order (A Frank Bowen Conspiracy Thriller Book 3), my third read from author Jay Tinsian0. Extremely well written, the characters, well developed, each book has been better than the last. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make a reader get invested into the characters and thereby the book and this book does! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Chris Macdonnell. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
This third book in the Frank Bowen series connects up wonderfully with the Dark Paradigm series. As usual, Frank finds himself in too deep. Find out if he survives his mission to end all missions.
This is a very exciting, well written, believable thriller, a real page turner with plenty of adrenaline fuelled action passages. The story is peopled by realistic, very well defined characters, there are also some great descriptions of the locations the story is set in. This all makes this a great read, I have no hesitation in recommending it.
I did receive an advance copy of the book, but this review has been voluntarily written based on my own opinions.
Frank Bowen is working a mindless security job trying to get his family back after a separation. His family was kidnapped because of his job. After getting them back, they separate to keep them safe. The bills are difficult to pay on his current salary. He takes, what seems an easy mission, to transport Nero to a destination. But they are followed and end up going through the jungles of Columbia to escape. They also have to evade paramilitary groups and bandits. A action packed thriller.
Tinsiano does a GREAT JOB of making plausible conspiracy stories seem probable. Sharp writing and dialogue, intense action, and fully three-dimensional characters make this a solid read. Always looking forward to more!
