I love the world and characters Pandora’s created!!
The world Pandora has created is extensive, challenging, often dangerous and wonderful. Everything you could imagine seems to be possible here and I love that she’s expanding on the supernatural elements with witches, witchcraft and Native American culture and healings.
I loved Jude in the other books and was so excited for his story. I love Pandora’s writing and the Cold Case Series is one of my all time favorites. To be honest and say I wanted a bit more from Jude and Cope’s story, but I understand and am intrigued by the way Pandora chose to go with these two.
From my reading, I felt there was a bit of an insta-love connection for Cope towards Jude but Jude has his walls up. Jude can still feel the connection but is more wary of it. This insta-love was good but conflicting at times with a lot of simmering heat that doesn’t really progress much of the time. Jude and Cope are drawn to each other quickly and Jude becomes wonderfully protective towards Cope which is great to ‘see’ and provides for much of Pandora’s wonderful humor!! As these two, face the various challenges coming at them more of Jude’s past is revealed and his walls finally start to come down. When Bertha is reincarnated there was not a dry eye in the book (or out of it) I was balling! This was such a wonderful part of the book, it truly touched my heart and will stay with me forever.
I love that Pandora included all the characters from the whole Cold Case Psychic world in this story and I loved ‘seeing’ the continued bromance/brotherhood evolve between Jude and Roman.
This story is very much a start to Jude and Copeland’s journey and sort of ends with them together but not. Pandora has done a wonderful set up for many more Jude and Cope stories and I look forward to seeing where they go and what is next for them.

Great story! This a non-stop, paranormal, action book. I had no idea who the baddie was. There quite a bit of character development in the Jude And Cope characters. It kept me on the edge of my seat wondering how Cope was to saved and who was doing it. Once the baddie is revealed, the explanation is mind boggling!! I have the next book already downloaded.

Wow, I really loved this book. I’m so happy Jude has finally found someone to connect with but who knows how their relationship will progress throughout the series. Jude finally starts to open up to his friends/family on what he is and what abilities he has. In the fight to help save Copeland from the witch practicing black magick, who has been psychic attacking him from a distance, he contacts his grandfather on the Reservation who he hasn’t been in contact with in ages, as he’s been living off the Reservation to see if there’s a way to help Cope. His Grandfather tells him a way to possibly help him and a way for Jude to get back to his roots. Jude has definitely grown from when we first met him, lol he’s still an a*sehole but he wouldn’t be Jude if he wasn’t. He hated all witches since his dad was mu*dered in front of him when he was 13 years old by a Skinwalker witch, now he’s a witches most fierce protector and the person who he’s dropped his walls for and it was awesome to see him change his views from previous books. I can’t wait to read what happens next with Cope, Jude and the rest of their friends/family. I’d recommend this book, series and author to everyone.
Ghost of Himself by Pandora Pine is the first book in the Cold Case Psychic spin off series. Haunted Souls. We finally are getting the play-boy Psychic, Jude Byrne’s story and it is AMAZING! We find out what Jude really is and what he can do. We also meet Psychic, tarot reader and witch Copeland Forbes. Humorous dialogue, strong and powerful characters that you can fall in love with, visits with a favorite characters and an unique and fascinating story…I am in love with this series already and it is only beginning. Cant wait until we get more.
