This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. It reveals a dark side of the medical field that not many people know about. Gripping reality written by two authors who are real wordsmiths.
Such a great book
Beside a very good read this book reflects human problems wich I did not know existed. Makes on think
Very good book.
Excellent medical mystery that also informs readers about the plight of albinos in Africa, third world organ transplant, native and Christian religious beliefs, and drug development, with several characters that have to grow and develop personally plus allow their relationships to heal.
This book has some truth to it which makes it haunting. It was definitely a page turner with great characters.
This author was new to me. I am glad I decided to read it although the truths of this fictional story are heart breaking.
I learned about organ donor issues.
I learned a lot about Africa. This book taught me a lot about trusting and how the love of money is more important to some, then saving their lives. Description of Africa was really good and I could get a visual as I read this book.
This well-written book called my attention to the other side of organ transplantation. The terrible tragedies and atrocities that can happen if we aren’t vigilant. Sometimes “for the greater good” isn’t good at all!
Great read!!
This was a different style book for me. However, once I was into the book I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and could not put it down. Thank you for this heart-warming, tragic, inspirational story.
The author was brilliant by taking a horrible life situation which happened in Africa and turning it into a beautiful fictional story. I highly recommend you read this book.
This team of writers is flawless! Their story invites you into the dark side of the culture of Africa, taking on the theme of organ donation. While that’s the underlying story, I was entertained by the high level of suspense along with a subtle romance and the agony of a family needing a heart donor. The authors take you into another world as the main characters fight against cultural suspicion and a medical deadline. I’m ready for the next book in the series.
Hard to believe this can be true but I am convinced. Medical mysteries full of corruption in foreign countries against albino people. A form of racism as I see it. The struggle to uncover the corruption goes far and wide for body parts .
It kept your interest, was informative.
I loved this book and found it hard to put down. I could really believe the happenings in this book are true, and very heartbreaking.
Loved this book. Definitely tragic, knowing That this book is based on truths about albino people in Africa. Really, really good.
The plot was good, good topic. I thought I had the ending figured out, but I didn’t.
Good read. Educational.
I enjoyed reading it. I learned somethings.
