Contrary to what many people think, most ghosts aren’t all that chatty. They like to pop in and out and leave cryptic messages that take forever to figure out.
Take the groundskeeper at my son’s lacrosse park: I know he’s trying to tell me something, but his mysterious messages and finger-pointing are impossible to understand.
And when my son’s lacrosse teammate goes missing, I know that ghost … know that ghost knows something. But getting him to talk about it is harder than getting my teenager to unplug from his video game!
Just as the puzzle begins to take shape, I start to realize that the situation is even worse than I had thought.
And then my own son disappears.
Now it’s all-out war…
Because nothing can stop a mother from saving her child.

A Child Goes Missing and Chantilly and Her Ghosts Start Looking
This is a great paranormal cozy mystery. This is the first of the series that I have read and I never felt lost. The author does a great job of sharing just enough information. The plot is pretty serious; concerning a missing teen. It is well done and should not trigger anyone’s emotional responses. Other than that, it is a fun story with an assortment of small-town characters. I can’t wait to read more of this series. I received this ARC book for free from the author and SRP Mystery & Thriller Books and this is my honest review.
My Review
Carolyn Ridder Aspen 4th Book in this Chantilly Adair psychic series.
Chantilly, seeing ghost again This time Mr Roger’s is helping solve who murdered him,
But hes a Ghost who’s not talking. Making this a bit more difficult…
But no worries, Chantilly can always get the job done..

She knows he did hurt Turner….
Soon Chantilly, and her Friends get together in the cemetery for a seance….to
Try to get closer to mr Rogers hoping in his resting place he may talk..
Chantilly son soon goes missing, putting her in Momma Bear mode. Not gonna let anyone hurt her child or anyone else’s.
I have read several Carolyn Ridder Aspen Books Each one gets Better for me.
I received this as a arc for my Honest opinion. I Definitely Recommend Her Books.
Thank you Carolyn Ridder Aspenson
Chantilly is hard at work trying to save an historic house from a bad remodel when the owner’s son is taken at lacrosse practice. Unfortunately, the ghostly groundskeeper who’s trying to help is a man of little words. Chantilly has to interpret his signs and rescue the son before something worse happens.
It’s great to be back in Chantilly’s world of small-town Georgia where friends and ghosts coexist.
WITTY AND CHARMING CHARACTERS IN A DELIGHTFULLY UNIQUE AND TOUCHING GHOST STORY. EASY-TO-READ, THIS “HAUNTING” NARRATIVE WILL LEAVE YOU WANTING MORE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
AN ARC BOOK, THIS IS MY HONEST, FREELY GIVEN REVIEW.
Wow, what can I say about this story without giving anything away?……The feelers within this story were strong and I couldn’t help but either smile, laugh or cry and I even had a moment when I was frightened. Yeah, it had it’s moments for sure.
The characters were amazing!! I love Chantilly and I found a real connection with her. She was strong, brave, caring and such a loving character. And the old ladies were a HOOT!! They totally made the story fun and light when it was needed.
The story-line was incredible. There were times that I was on the edge of my seat with my heart pounding in my chest and worried if things were going to turn out okay and then there were times I would laugh out loud at something light and funny to having tears form in my eyes. It’s simply amazing the stories that comes out of this author’s imagination. This author can truly make you think that you are really apart of the story. This author is a true genus at storytelling and I highly recommend this read!!
This is such a delightful series! When a member of her son’s lacrosse team disappears, Chantilly is sure the ghost of the deceased groundskeeper holds the key, and she won’t stop until all is revealed. Great storytelling, charming characters and a wonderfully twisty plot make this a fine who-done-it! I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to future installments. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.

Once again I really enjoyed being in the world of Chantilly and her friends. Very fun and easy read. Ready for the next one!
Chantilly Adair is faced with her most serious problem yet! A restless ghost at the lacrosse field seems to be the key to solving the disappearance of her son’s best friend, Travis. Chantilly’s quest to decode the ghost’s message becomes even more deadly serious as days go by and the town fears the worst. When her son, Austin, disappears, all bets are off and Chantilly goes full-on mama bear!
Fortunately, Chantilly has the help of her loyal friends and her ex, the handsome detective and lacrosse coach.
I zipped through this story – I was immediately hooked and had to know what happened next.
Everything about this series is great: characters, setting, and well-written mysteries!
I can’t wait to see what Chantilly does next.
These characters have gotten to be my friends. So normal and personable – except of course the ghost part. I very much enjoyed this book, and look forward to the next one. Ms Aspenson is one of my favorite authors. The characters continue to grow just as in real life. Romances evolve, hit rocky patches, and occasionally bad decisions are made by them.
Chantilly Adair’s life was normal until a head injury left her seeing ghosts. Occasionally she is able to help a ghost resolve their issues and cross over, and sometimes they are able to help her. Most of them are just happy hanging around Castleberry, a town that dates to the pre-civil war and has many historical buildings, which Chantilly oversees as manager of the Chantilly Georgia Historical Society. Her best friends, Del, Olivia, and Thelma know about this development but she has never told her significant other, Detective Jack Levitt. Since he is no longer significant, she sees no reason to tell him now either. Her son, Austin, is also unaware of her ability but when one of his friends from Lacrosse goes missing, Chantilly hopes that one of the ghosts may be able to help find him.
This is the first book I have read in this series. I enjoyed Chantilly’s wacky friends and the humor sprinkled throughout the storyline supported by a good, solid mystery. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary. There are some good plot twists and now I want to read more books in the series.
Welcome to Welcome to Castleberry, Georgia where Chantilly Adair and her son, Austin live. Chantilly works at the Historical Society along with her good friend, Olivia. So you know Chantilly sees ghosts! it all happened when she fell down the stair at work.
In this latest book Chantilly and Jack are trying to be friends since they have been taking a break from their relationship. Not really happening well. When Austin’s best friend, Turner ends Jack Leveitt, becomes the prime suspect!
Chantilly meets Donald Rogers, a ghost. Mr Rogers’ won’t speak so this will be very hard for Chantilly to figure out what he wants her to do for him. This will a mystery for Chantilly along with what happen to Turner.
Things between Chantilly and Jack maybe changing. Can she tell him about her secret?
This is the fourth book in the paranormal cozy mystery series, Chantilly Adair Psychic Medium. I loved reading this book. I adore Chantilly and the ladies who are her tribe. They are wonderful and everyone should be so lucky to have a tribe like them. In this book, a teammate of Austin’s disappears. Chantilly becomes involved when she connects with a silent ghost. This brings about a scary and unexpected event for her. Jack and Chantilly are still apart, which breaks more hearts than just mine. Charlie is still with Thelma but there are developments there. I’ll let y’all read the book to see what all is going on.
If you are new to this series, I would strongly suggest you read it from the first book. You don’t really have to if you only want the mystery. But for full enjoyment, you really want to read the series. This series has wrapped itself around my heart. I will change my schedule to read a book in it. I set aside the time to read it. I know once I start, I won’t want to put it down. The author weaves a story that will have you turning pages, laughing one moment and crying the next just to laugh again. She writes so effectively that even a minor character, who may never be in the series again, is someone you care about. I know because a ghost appears in this one and it was quick but deep. If you are on the fence about this book/series, I don’t think you will regret giving it a try. If you already read the series, stop reading reviews and read the book. You already know you are going to love it.
I received an ARC of this enjoyable cozy mystery. Another awesome story in the Chantilly Adair Paranormal Cozy Mystery series. I love the characters and relationships in this series. The ghosts are following Chantilly again. Great story, kept me guessing. Highly recommend the whole series!
This book is part of the Chantilly Adair series, one of my very favorites! Chantilly has a unique calling. She can see ghosts, and whenever they appear to her, they need her help and she does whatever it takes to do just that. But this time it gets personal when one of her teenage son’s friends goes missing. The only person who can help find him is a ghost who Chantilly has difficulty communicating with. In order to find the missing teen, she must also solve the man’s murder from years ago. I have read every series by this author, and I love it when there is mention of characters from her other series, and this one casually mentions two other characters from two other series! This book has suspense, a bit of romance, and just a hint of creepiness that all comes together in a fantastic read.
Although I enjoyed reading this book, I didn’t like it as much as I have the others in the series. I can’t exactly say why but maybe it’s because there’s not as much ghostly interaction. There is, however, a good ending.
WARNING: Don’t poke the Momma Bear.
I love this cozy mystery series! I have long been a fan of Carolyn Ridder Aspenson and this series is one of my favorites. This story definitely is the story I feel is the best in the series so far. The heroine, Chantilly Adair, is relentless in uncovering truths when aiding a friend or even a stranger that appeals to her sense of justice. However, when her son’s friend goes missing and her “maybe boyfriend” is a person of interest, she will not be stopped from investigating the case using her special resources. Then, when her son disappears as well, let’s just say, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”. Only a dufus would discount the rage of a provoked Momma. No spoilers in my review, so it is time to move on to my closing statements.
If you enjoy a good, clean, cozy mystery that can be read in one sitting; do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this book.
I received an advance reader copy of this book from the author. This gift did not affect my review of the book. This review is my voluntary and honest opinion.
I really enjoyed Ghost From the Grave. This is a fun and interesting mystery. I like the characters and enjoyed their interactions. The mystery is interesting and has many twists. This is a great cozy mystery.
A boy has gone missing and Chantilly is aided by the ghost of parks’ worker Don Rogers to find the boy and solve Mr. Rogers’ murder. Chantilly and Detective Jack are no longer a couple so that puts some strain on attending the lacrosse games where Jack is still the coach and where the boy disappeared from. I couldn’t put this book down because I needed to know what to the boy, what happened to Mr. Rogers, and what was going to happen to Chantilly and Jack. Del, Thelma, and Olivia are such good friends to Chantilly and such fun characters to read about. Love all the spirits that pop in and out with helpful tips, like Charlie and Jack’s grandmother. Looking forward to a future visit from Thelma’s cousin (I won’t spoil who she is). Still one of my favorite series to read.
