TJ Bennett knows one thing for certain—being in love isn’t for him. Been there, done that, has the scars to prove it.But that’s before he meets colorful, sweet, slightly-kooky Hope Daniels.Hope is only in town temporarily. She simply wants to have a cup of coffee with the father she’s never known. But when her directions lead her to TJ’s house instead, everything becomes a lot more complicated… … becomes a lot more complicated… and a lot more interesting. Because there’s nothing like a big gruff introvert to push this extrovert’s let-me-make-it-all-better buttons.
All of TJ’s plans to stay uninvolved and out of her way evaporate quickly and before he knows it, Hope’s got him thinking differently about everything—family, home, heartbreak and maybe, just maybe, the fact that he’s never actually been in love… before now.

TJ has been burned by love before and isn’t looking for it to happen again. Hope is in Sapphire Falls to experience some of the magic her mother did one summer long ago. These two shouldn’t be perfect for each other but from the very first time they meet, it’s obvious that there’s something that can’t be denied.
Sapphire Falls is like magic. There is so much love in this town and it’s wonderful to be along for the ride. Every visit to Sapphire Falls is amazing!!!
Getting Lucky by Erin Nicholas is book 5 Sapphire Falls Series. This is the story of TJ Bennett and Hope Daniels. I haven’t yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
TJ is done with love and is a gruffly guy who somehow ends up not being able to look away from Hope when she shows up in town. Hope is out to see a man that was her biological father but ends up finding so much more in the town and with TJ.
Enjoyed their story.
Always good to read about Sapphire Falls residents
It’s Sapphire Falls and one of the Bennett Boys, what’s not to love?
I truly adore the Sapphire Falls crew. The characters Erin Nicholas has created really come to life through her fantastic writing. I loved this story, loved getting to know another character better and witnessing his love story. I also love how well considered each story is – although it could stand alone, the little character traits that come out about different characters throughout the series really enhance each novel. Another great read!
I absolutely fell in love with Hope. Usually I’m all about the hot heroes but Hope was such a wonderful character that she totally won me over. Now don’t get me wrong, TJ was hot but he was also grumpy, cynical and didn’t trust Hope’s intentions all that much, but it made their interactions so much better and a lot of fun to read. They were complete opposites. She was like a ray of sunshine to his grumpiness and I loved reading how she was able to make him a happier person, especially after you hear about his past drama with his ex. I have visited Sapphire Falls in previous books and I simply love it here. The dialogue was especially very cute and fun in this story and I loved every minute of it. Can’t wait to go back for more.
This is another great story by Erin Nicholas. In this one you read about TJ & Hope. Hope came to Sapphire Falls to find some answers, and TJ is just the guy to help her. If you haven’t read the Sapphire Falls series I strongly recommend it.
It is so great to be back visiting in the town of Sapphire Falls. The way the author has written this series makes you feel like it’s coming home to a happy place with your best friends and family.
In Getting Lucky TJ Bennett is swept away by the spitfire Hope Daniels. They are attracted from the first meeting and the sparks fly from that moment on. He is a serious introvert and she is a carefree extrovert. The sexual tension, snarky banter will keep you laughing. The family and quirky towns people will keep you turning pages to see what happens next. This book is well written and is fun and interesting, it leaves you with a light heart and warm happy feeling when you finish. I can’t wait until the next book in the series takes me back to Sapphire Falls.
Loved the storyline between TJ & Hope!
It’s always a good time, visiting Sapphire Falls, especially when the Bennett family is involved. I love these interconnected standalone stories and catching up with some of my favorite characters, so I was glad to read an advance copy of TJ and Hope’s story. I’m not sure the last time I saw two characters who were so opposite but needed each other as much as these two.
In true Bennett fashion, TJ doesn’t know what hit him when tornado Hope comes blowing into town looking for her father, but in less than a day he’s in over his head, and his heart will never be the same. Lest you think this is an insta-love HEA, there’s plenty of resistance, interference, and challenges in TJ and Hope’s relationship, but the journey is an entertaining, humorous, endearing one that you won’t want to miss. You can easily read these books in any order, but one thing is certain. Once you visit Sapphire Falls, you’ll want to visit again and again through the other books in the series.

Whether you are new to this author and this series, or have been a long time fan of both, this story will not disappoint you.
We are back in Sapphire Falls, the place where romance and hope exist, though they are usually achieved after a bumpy ride.
This time the story belongs to TJ, and Holly. TJ Bennett is a resident of Sapphire Falls and Hope is just making a stop. Her goal is to meet her father and leave town. TJ has no desire to have a relationship, least of all with Hope., whom literally meets him by accident. But life and fate have a different plan.
It was nice to revisit with the Bennett family.
If you are looking for a sweet small town romance, this is a perfect book for you.
I was gifted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
