I’ve been uninspired, stuck in a rut.
I needed to get lucky… Fast.
And if fortune does favor the brave,
I’m ready to risk it all.
The moment I laid eyes on her, she was all I could see.
Talking to my paintbrushes is nothing new to me,
But the girl behind the counter certainly is.
Pink hair, fiery personality, and curves for days,
They didn’t name the store Paddy’s for nothing.
Because as … nothing.
Because as destiny would have it, I’ve found my muse.
And I would do anything to lock eyes with her again.
Like paint stunning, colorful portraits of her,
And then invite her and her art class to my exhibit.
But when she comes home with me that night,
I know it’s the beginning of something truly beautiful.
Too bad her arrogant father is ruthless and controlling,
Thinking I don’t have a real job and can’t take care of her.
But I’ll show him just how good for her I am.
And when I found out she’s carrying my baby,
I vow to be a better father than her old man ever was.
Because nothing will come between my muse and our tiny masterpiece.

Not a bad read, but I must admit I skimmed a big chunk of it. Mostly the middle part. Just didn’t hold my attention. I also found the Dad part of it unbelievable.
But I loved Chris and Hope and definitely Puck and Nicole. Their friendship and banter gave me quite a few chuckles.

Good hot romance, but predictable

The story is well written, cute while staying hot, but it is a little predictable.

They both come from wealthy families, but they want to go their own way, but Hope is under the constant pressure from her father to the point that she is sick. This Book was a feel good love story with just enough drama to it. I would loved if they had included more in the ending. It would have added to the story…. But the story pulled me in and I finished it in a day. I will definitely read more from this author.

Enjoyable story with artist Chris and art student Hope. They meet in a art shop and he is attracted to her and needs a muse for his next project. When she and her class tour the art gallery where she finds he has drawn her picture she is shocked but thrilled. They start a relationship that not everyone is happy about such as her controlling father and his overbearing mother.
A perfect read in time for St Patrick’s day. Chris, a local artist, meets Hope at the store. He is instantly attracted to Hope. Hope has her misgivings because of controlling father. She moved to a different state to get away from the control her father wanted to put her under. Chris paints Hope and invites her to attend the gallery. Her dad finds out and thinks Chris is useless. Chris is determined to prove to Hope that he can be the man she needs, especially since she is pregnant. This is good book released just in time for St Patty’s day. The characters are great. The story flows smoothly. Another great book by Ms Rose.

Falling for his Muse! This story is about Chris and Hope. She is working in an art store when Chris who is an artist, is shopping for some paint brushes. They strike up a conversation as Chris is flirting with the brushes – pretty funny. He leaves the store mesmerized of her and decides he is going to draw her. She informs him that she is taking an Arts class to tick off her father as they don’t have the greatest relationship. He immediately finds out which class she is taking and to her surprise it was one of his own previous instructors. Her entire class is then invited to a gallery and she is stunned to see her face on the wall… Everyone in class is amazed and this is where the story takes off. Although you have your critics, they choose to keep doing what they are doing. Their connection is unbeatable until her father shows up and threatens to disown her. Love does prevail and they end up getting lucky themselves with a bundle of joy name Grace…. I loved this story.

Christian, or Chris is an artist that is famous. He owns his building and sells his paintings through a museum. He is looking for new inspiration for his next piece. Hope is an art student gong to school to get her business degree and ab heiress. She works in an art store and that is where she meets Chris. She became his new inspiration and muse. He made a huge collection of canvases with her at the center as his masterpiece and two people want to buy it. He is also painting more of her to sell. They quickly become an item after she discovers he painted her. Things are going great and she discovers she is pregnant. He is thrilled and she is unsure. They come together as a couple to make a family. There is one huge problem…her father! He threatens to hold her inheritance over her head and to disown her. He is horrid to her and makes her upset constantly. Now, she has Chris’s mom look into her inheritance and receives some distressing news to do with her father…what should she do? He did something abhorring to her and others…sue him? Make him leave her life? Take over his business? Or forgive him? She will have to make the decision with Chris and it will be a tough one~ The book has a HEA and the characters will endear themselves to you! Hope is an very immature woman who can’t seem to think for herself and has no confidence at all. Granted her father is a controlling a-hole but, still how she manages to keep Chris in a relationship is beyond me. I almost walked away from this book when Hope has serious doubts about her new future. I got so mad at her especially when Chris is such an amazing guy and is stands up for her, supports her and loves her and she can’t figure out what to do when she getting some surprising news. All she cares about is her father’s reactions and that she will be cut of from the family fortune because she doesn’t tow the line.
I did finish the book and naturally there is a happy ending that is satisfying. As you can tell, I don’t care for Hope but, I love Chris and his friend Puck as well as Hope’s friend Nicole. The drama of the story has it’s merits and I think most will enjoy.

A book that has everything I like, plus more, wrapped up in one neat story. This book has everything from laughs to tears, from angst to love, from suspense to closure, from personal growth to family, and the healing that love can bring.
The storyline is solid. The characters are enthralling and very well thought out. I enjoyed watching them grow and find their place together, finding the peace that love can bring.
It’s an easy 6 Star rating from me. I’m a fan!
This book had everything I have come to expect from Ms. Rose! An intricate storyline with just enough drama in regards to the controlling father and interfering mother of the (h), the (H) that is determined to prove himself, and the sweetest love story!!
I loved Chris from the introductory scene and his geeky artistic temperament that showed through when he was selecting supplies in the art store! Hope with her corresponding snark also made me want to keep reading and as the book progresses we get to know her better and the first impression of her sweet, fun personality just came through more and more!
The books by Annie J. Rose just keep getting better and better and IMHO, this one is her best so far and has now become my favorite of them all!!

Chris and Hope met and he knew immediately that she was the muse for his art and the love of his life. Hope had been bullied by her father most of her life, but Chris was not going to let that continue. Interesting and engaging story with strong characters. Good read!

It is superb. Cute meet, romantic scenes, good pace, great storyline, great supporting cast, and a happy ending. It also had a dominating father and a meddling mother-in-law. But the lead characters kept getting lucky. I highly recommend this one. You cannot go wrong with a book by Annie J. Rose.

Chris, the local artist, was going going to pick up new art supplies when he met Hope, the new pink-haired girl. One look and he was smitten. So inspired by her beauty, he featured her in his next exhibition. From there, a relationship between Chris and Hope began to flourish but will her father interfere with their happiness?
**Little Spoiler** I really enjoyed the story. It well written, the plot developed, and the characters relatable. I even enjoyed the secondary characters Nicole and Puck. I think that Hope’s issues with her father was a good source of drama and conflict which gave the story realistic element it needed. And it wasn’t quickly resolved or rushed to conclusion at the end. Very good read!

Wow!: loved it. This book was original, easy to read and fast paced. Revolving around Chris an artist who finds his muse in Hope, an art supplies store worker and student. Annie certainly outdid herself with this story. It’s smooth, sexy, original and just heart felt in places. I found myself pulling for Chris, who had a battle to fight to get the girl, namely her father. She also had to get past her father but stood up for what she wanted in the end. They make a great couple and the dynamic between Chris and Hope certainly was wonderful to read about. The obstacle seemed insurmountable but they work through it. This was a really enjoyable book.

The author has given us characters that we can care about. Chris, an artist, goes into the artist supply store to pick up a few items when he is blindsided by the woman stocking shelves. All he knows is that he must paint her. All Hope knows is that she wants to know him better. Will they be able to have a relationship even though there are family issues on each side?
