A hot and hilarious romantic comedy, perfect for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Jasmine Guillory, and Christina Lauren! What happens when you wake up in a hotel suite next to a gorgeous naked man with absolutely no memory of the past twelve hours?I guess it’s true what they say: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.Or at least I hope it stays here. The Romantic Style Book convention was meant to be a … convention was meant to be a weekend of raucous fun with friends, sun, and enough poolside margaritas to forget about my ex. But now, instead of meeting my fans and signing books, I’m stuck with cocky divorce lawyer Nate Wexler. He’s arrogant, infuriating, and I can’t keep my hands off of him. Judging by the state of our hotel room, last night was wild. I just wish I could remember it.
A pair of matching tattoos. A half empty box of glow-in-the-dark condoms. And a… wedding veil?
What the hell just happened?

“This.Book.Is.SOOOO.Funny! What is the best way to describe it? It’s like a cross between The Hangover and…a steamy romance novel…hahaha. SO SO steamy. I’m surprised my kindle didn’t start smoking. But more importantly, it was funny and endearing.” — Micah Liesel’s Book Blog

Loved this book, maybe just a little too much sex.
Hard to get through this one .
Whether or not you like this book might depend on if you enjoyed The Hangover. Personally? I thought it was hilarious. (The sequels? Not so much. But I digress…) This book starts out kind of like The Hangover, in that Nate and Julia wake up naked in bed together with no memory of what happened to them the night before. From there, they have to piece together the previous night’s events while they’re both in Vegas (him for a friend’s wedding, her for a romance convention). The hijinks that ensue are cute, hilarious, and sexy, all at the same time.
Now, normally, I hate stories that jump back and forth between past and present, but this one was handled so masterfully that it didn’t bug me at all. Reading about Nate and Julia’s drunken adventures was just as fun as reading about their sober interactions, which were pretty fabulous.
Julia was a great heroine. She was sassy, snarky, smart, and at the top of her game career-wise. She had a little emotional baggage left over from a bad divorce, but she didn’t let it get her down or stunt her chances at a happily ever after.
Nate was pretty awesome, too. He was a little uptight, bitter and grumpy at first, but once the alcohol started flowing, he was a lot of fun. I might’ve liked drunk Nate a little better than sober Nate at first, but eventually, even sober Nate won me over. He was a genuinely nice guy—if a little jaded—at heart.
Secondary characters were also fabulous. Pretty much everything Julia’s literary agent said cracked me up.
I also liked that this had a HFN (happy for now) versus a HEA (happily ever after) type of ending. It wouldn’t have been realistic for these two people who’d just met to get married and start having babies by the end of the book. (Although, for those of you who prefer a HEA, there is a nice epilogue on this one that doesn’t disappoint.)
So, long-story-short, I highly recommend this one for lovers of romantic comedy that is a little wacky, a little over-the-top at times, and includes plenty of fun, sexy banter. Happy reading!

Not a fan. Found the scenarios a bit ridiculous. Would not recommend. Not worth the money or the time.
Get lucky was funny with great characters and storylines. Two people that are totally different than each other keep bumping into each other in Vegas. Wake up in bed together the next morning and can’t remember how they got there. They spend the next day trying to piece thing together by back tracking there movements from the day before. Lots of twist and turns from start to finish.
Cute and whimsical, a story about getting what you never knew you needed.
Very Entertaining
Loved this story, great characters and very sexy, steamy interaction between the main characters. I’ve already purchased the second book “Bet Me” in Ms. Monroe’s series, looking forward to reading.
Enjoyable story.
A fun read. Entertains with good characters. I enjoyed it.
This was a light, but interesting read. Original plot, decent characters. I enjoyed the writing and finished it In a weekend.
Makes you laugh out loud
A fun book
Nothing special
OMG! THIS BOOK IS SOOO FUNNY! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS STORY KIND OF WITHIN A STORY. SORRY IT CAME TO AN END. LAUGHED SO MUCH! LOVED IT!
I read a couple of pages and had no desire to read any further. If I wanted a book all about sex I am sure I could have found one. This story starts out with nothing but sex acts and I am sorry I bought it!!! I will never read it any further.
This is a light hearted read perfect for a gloomy day or mood. If this book doesn’t elicit some chuckles it may be time to get some help.
So much fun! Great characters and smart, funny writing had me chortling all the way through this wonderful story. A real pleasure to see Nate go from annoyed to madly-in-lust/love with the awesome Julia (and she’s a romance writer!). An utter delight from start to finish!!
what a hilarious story … great characters… loved untangling their antics.
Didn’t really enjoy
