“Shalvis makes me laugh, makes me cry, makes me sigh with pure pleasure.”—Susan Andersen When Breanne Mooreland gets left at the altar, she decides the best thing to do is to go on her honeymoon alone. Of course, she loses her luggage along the way and ends up snowed in at a Sierra mountains lodge run by a noticeably quirky staff. And before she can order room service, she finds a naked—and … service, she finds a naked—and gorgeous—man taking a shower in her suite who refuses to leave . . .
Vice cop Cooper Scott is in serious need of a vacation. He’s not about to give up the only available room to a stranger because of a mix-up. They’ll just have to make the best of it by sharing the bed. They’re mature adults after all. But when Cooper wakes up kissing the long, leggy Breanne, he wants to show her exactly what the honeymoon suite is intended for. That will have to wait, though, because a screaming Breanne has just stumbled over one very dead body . . .

LOVED IT! Finished it so fast, because I couldn’t wait to see what happened next!
Couldn’t put this book down, and lost sleep because I got lost in the story! Highly recommend reading this book.
The beginning stopped me from reading further. Too hard to wrap my head around how this character. Put it down after about 3 pages and deleted from my library.
Very enjoyable book!
I loved this book. Really good plot kept you guessing to the end.
Quirky and different from the start. Some of the characters were kind of spooky almost like the Adams family. The way they just kind of glided in here and there without much notice made it even more spooky. In the story make sure the power goes off, the tension spikes. And don’t forget the dead body.
The humor was also off the charts too. I …
Jill Shalvis is an excellent writer but this one fell just a tad short. The story wasn’t quite believable that that much drama could happen in a week’s time. There was a lot going on but the hero was hunky and saved the day.
I don’t think Jill Shalvis will ever be considered a great mystery writer, though I would still label her a great romance writer!
This is the first and only book she’s written with a suspense element, and while I really enjoyed it, it wasn’t her best. I did love the cast of characters and the hero, Cooper. The heroine, Breanne, was a bit to …
It was really a poor read. i have liked all of her other books. Poorly developed story and characters. No strength and no humor
Loved the journal entries at the beginning of each chapter.
I didn’t like this book
Jill Shavis is already a fave of mine and I truly enjoy her books.
Great cast of people, romance, humor, and suspense! I’m a fan of this author and have read many of her books.
I kept reading because I wanted to know what happened.

Great book,
I read Get a Clue years ago (it was originally published with Kensington Brava and is called Vintage Jill Shalvis on her website, which means you get romance before smartphones – a ton of fun). I fell in love with Jill’s writing reading this book. Get a Clue has romance, mystery, and humor wrapped into one – my fave type of read. If you like …
