A fierce race against time begins as inferni, gods and dark fae all try to get hold of the Skull Chalice. But only one faction can possess it.
Will Alex succeed and kill the abominable inferni and save the world from a fate worse than death? Or will she lose everyone in the battle, including herself?
Genesis Magic is the thrilling conclusion of the hit new series The Half-Goddess Chronicles more
Genesis Magic, Anatara Mann’s 4th book in her Half-Goddess Chronicles series, is definitely an awesome finale! Alex, Kagan, Kai and the Morrigan undergo challenges to hopefully thwart Angus’s run for ultimate domination. Eventually it comes down to Alex vs. Angus. Who will win? What will be left of the world afterwards?
This is an awesome ending to a great series! Each book has been fast-paced, filled with magic, goddesses, demons, vampires, danger and intrigue. The characters have been all well developed and engaging. This has truly been a series worth reading!

It’s no wonder I’m having nightmares. But talking about [the war] was one thing. Our fears had turned into reality”
Alexandra Shaw: half elemental mage, half goddess; and her fae boyfriend Kai, have a war on their hands, and only Alex can save the realms of Good and Evil, so the harmony of balance doesn’t change. When she is summoned by the Morrigan- the leader of good and Kai- the leader of evil to explore how they would take down Kai’s “brother” Angus, it seems almost more than she can handle. However, she’s the chosen, and with the “gift” she was given of some of Kai’s magic, the three elements within in her make her the determined choice to save …everything.
This was a dynamite read! My favorite book is “The Odyssey of Homer” and the trials and tests both she and Kai have to accomplish have a very Homeric flare to them which kept me turning “pages” as the energy invested in author Antara Mann’s writing swept me through the book in one almost uninterrupted sitting. I want to read others in this series! Highly recommended 5/5

Exciting and intriguing
Kagan and Alex must deal with demons, inferno, warlock, vampires, boggarts as well as the leaders of Heaven and Hell! Action-packed and fast-paced, you must pay close attention to keep up with the different characters and the many deadly steps that Alex and Kagan must face to finally defeat Angus. Well-written, great read! I received an advanced reader copy free and have voluntarily chosen to leave an honest review.
This is a great book with wonderful characters. I have loved this series and hated to see it end. This book like the others before it will not disappoint. It is full of twists and turns and keeps you on your toes.
‘Genesis Magic’ is book four in Antara Mann’s urban fantasy The Half-Goddess Chronicles series. This continues on from ‘Cursed Magic’.
With the curse finally broken, Alex must now find and kill Angus once and for all. But the Inferni once again has other plans in mind and finding him isn’t going to be easy. Alex, Kagan, Kia and the Morrigan must work together to keep the Skull Chalice out of Angus’ hands or things are going to get much worse.
The highly anticipated conclusion is here and what an exciting and chaotic read it is.
This whole series has been one massive, fast paced journey with lots of twists and turns, surprises, revelations and mystery. From the moment that Alex was asked to assist in the investigation of mysterious ritualistic murder in book one ‘Bound by Sorcery’ her life has been one attempt after another on her life. The normalcy of her life running her Occult shop with her best friend Naomi would be forever changed. She is now on first name bases with the Chiefs of Heaven and Hell, she is dating a powerful Fae and has gotten the attention of a sick and twisted Inferni that wants to destroy the world. And she is the only one that can stop the Inferni as it was prophesied.
Alex’s character has grown so much over the course of these books, she has had to deal with way more than anyone, but continues to get up and soldier on each and everytime.
Kagan continues to be the perfect boyfriend, ally and support for Alex. He is always there to support her with whatever may arise. From the moment Kagan came into the picture he continued to take a piece of my heart with each interaction he has and by the end of this book you will be madly in love with him just like me.
Now I do have to say the constant use of “eww” and the endearments “honey, love, babe” with everyone did get very frustrating and annoying. Now when Alex and Kagan used it to each other it is understandable. But the Morrigan and Kia using it all the time as well as Angus it just got over the top. But if you are able to overlook this you will be in for one heck of a ride.
One thing I also have to say is that I felt that the ending was a little anticlimactic, we have been having this massive battle building from the very beginning and it all over in a few moments. But the epilogue was sweet and just what was needed after the hell that Alex has had to deal with. But it was more of a Happy For Now rather then HEA.
Besides these few little matters, this series has been enjoyable, exciting and intriguing and I am so glad and happy that I read it.
