Geir Pavla, a former SEAL, has recovered from the damage done when his squad’s truck drove over an antitank landmine more than two years ago. Six other team-mates were also badly injured, the seventh–Mouse–dead, in what their team leader realized later had to be a trap. Geir has been trying to uncover details about Mouse’s history. The more he discovers, the more he fears their newest member … was nothing of the man they thought they knew and believed they could trust.
Morning Blossom runs a B&B in San Diego that her father co-owns. Unfortunately, he wants to sell despite that the business is the safety net she needs to pursue her passion for painting. While she longs to make a career of what’s only ever been a hobby, she isn’t sure she has the ability to be a success. Morning has avoided long-term relationships after one man who’d stayed at the B&B wanted to take up perpetual residence despite her objections. Geir, however, is someone she could grow used to having around permanently.
While Geir doesn’t understand her naïveté in letting strangers invade her world, Morning’s innocence and belief in the goodness of humanity attracts him. Geir’s innate protectiveness becomes much more than either of them anticipated when the nastiness of his world inevitably spills into hers…

Another outstanding installment in this fascinating series!
First of all, this is a standalone romance but it’s set in the larger series world where the seven surviving members of the SEAL team are investigating the attack that left each of them permanently wounded and killed the eighth member, Mouse. At this point in the investigation, they’re getting to the bottom of the secrets held by their fallen brother.
Following the leads from Texas to San Diego, Geir and Jager set up shop at the B&B owned by Mason’s friend, Morning Blossom. While the instant attraction between Morning and Geir heats up, the danger intensifies and the body count increases. There are hidden connections and surprise twists, and while this book ends with a HEA for Morning and Geir, the investigation leaves one door closed and another door open for the next book.
This series is highly addictive. The romances are sweet and steamy, but the ongoing investigation is the real draw. From the very first book, we’re drawn into the mystery surrounding the attack and kept enthralled as each new development reveals more and more about the extent of the threat against these heroes. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Great series and a little sad to know it’s coming to an end pretty soon. Highly recommend reading the Seals of Steels from the very beginning. The series shows that no matter how hurt or damaged a Seal gets, they never give up. Each book carries on seamlessly to the next. If you don’t start at the beginning, you will be lost. I love how the theme carries just like in the other Seals stories Dale Mayer has written, each time/mission, the guys always finds the perfect woman. Visits from characters from her previous series is always a welcome treat
While we start to learn even more about Mouse’s life prior to joining the SEAL’s we also meet Blossom who is just too freaking cute and the best thing that could happen to Geir. Blossom is in a cross roads in her life and its great how Geir inspires her to see her full potential and for Geir to realise he doesn’t have to be alone. This books shows we are getting closer to the answers about what happened to not only to them all but who Mouse really was as it isn’t who they knew, there is also loads of action to keep you wondering what will happen next!
This was another great entry in the Seals of Series books. Really enjoyed best if you read them all (they were all good). In this one we find more about the continuing mystery, meet some new guys and see more of the previous heroes. The romance was nice and there was quite a bit of action. Overall I enjoyed this one and cannot wait for the next!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
While each of these books is a standalone, I recommend reading them in order to get the most out of them.
This book opens at Badger’s home as the guys go over the information on Mouse they’ve uncovered so far. Geir is ready to head to San Diego but first he reaches out to Jaeger, the one member of the team who has stayed dark. He is pleased and surprised when Jaeger responds he’ll meet him there.
Mason has made arrangements for the guys to stay at a B&B run by Morning Blossom (yes, that’s her name) and Geir is very surprised at the lack of security there. While she has cameras there is nothing else. Jaeger shows up and they start with their investigating.
Morning owns the B&B with her father, but he is living overseas and the real reason she keeps it running is her art. Art is her true passion but she doesn’t trust her instincts and now she may have a gallery showing but nothing she feels is worthy to show. Geir however sees her latest and compliments her which gives her more inspiration.
As Geir and Jaeger work the leads they have, they find a scary link between ‘Poppy’ and a local school. With the help of Morning’s friend Nancy they get access to the school and start putting pieces together.
A break-in, a stuffed mouse, and a near miss ramp up the suspense as a romance develops between Geir and Morning.
Much happens in this book as they work toward solving the mystery that is Mouse and resolving the questions about the incident that caused their injuries
Geir is way cool. Loved his presence. Morning was/is beautiful. Dale gets artists and how focused creating is. Definitely up for Jagr’s story next!
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Booksprout and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This book, like the others in this series, have a great sub-plot going on. What happened 2 years ago to cause the explosion that killed Mouse and grievously injured the other SEALs? While the men recover from their injuries, family members of the remaining SEALs start dying. The chase to discover the person(s) responsible for all of this is slowly being exposed with each book. Along the way, each man finds their soul mate. Wow what a journey it has been. I will be re-reading these books again after the release of the last one.
I loved this book. Geir Pavla and Morning Blossom were great together. The intrigue of the sub-plot of what happened and why 2 years ago is getting closer to being solved. Finding Poppy and getting answers lead to even more questions. Geir and Jager go to San Diego where they meet Morning Blossom. She runs the B & B where they are staying. Staying there exposes Morning to their intrigue and danger. The interaction between Geir and Morning was so natural, you could see the “sparks” between these two. The scenes of the book played out like a movie in my mind, it was so well written. Once you starting reading, you will not be able to put the book down.
I highly recommend this book if you love former military men and suspense.
Amazing book. This book features Morning Blossom, and Geir.
This story is edgier and darker than the previous books in the series, and oh my gosh.. it was gripping.
I could not put this book down. From start to finish you will be wondering what Geir and Jager will find out about Mouse and his past. Then you have Morning, who is running a quiet B&B, and now that Geir and Jager are around, it’s not as quiet .
The men are getting so much closer to finding out what happened in their accident.
Fantastic storyline, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book featuring Jager.

The series SEALs of Steel is an original take on the SEAL romance. This series focuses on a SEAL team that was involved in accident which killed 1 and badly injured the other 7. The team doesn’t believe it was an accident and in each book the team searches for answers. Each clue gets them closer to solving the mystery. In this book Geir and Jager stay at a Morning Blossom’s bed and breakfast. They are searching for Poppy who they think can provide the answer they are looking for. While they search, people keep getting killed and danger comes to the bed and breakfast. Meanwhile, as Morning grows as an artist, she realizes that she is holding on to her past instead of moving forward. Once she makes the decision to move forward this opens up the possibility for a relationship with Geir. Each book is a stand-alone book in the series, but it’s much better if they are read in order. I can’t wait to finally know what happened.

Geir by Dale Mayer
SEALs of Steel Series Book Six
Geir Pavla takes up the search for whoever betrayed his SEAL unit…killing their youngest member. His friend Jager comes out of the dark to join him in San Diego. It seems every time the team members have gone is search of answers, they get close, and then get turned down a new road. Geir is hoping to find their answers and get closure so they can all move forward.
Morning Blossom loves her life. She runs a B&B and has plenty of time for her main passion…painting. She’s always been trusting, leaving her front door open for her guests to come on in. Only now, the two handsome hunks staying with her brought along more than luggage. They brought trouble to her doorstep…and beyond.
After a land mine blows up the vehicle these men were in, they all have lost a lot. Body parts, organs, and two years of their lives. Back on their feet…somewhat, the seven surviving team members realize it was no accident. And neither is the losses of their family and friends. I can’t wait for the next book…Jager’s story and I assume the end of the mystery. Great series.

This series nicely blends romance, suspense, mystery and romance. Each book has its own couple but there is a much bigger over arcing storyline that is unfolding over the series. This book has Geir and Morning’s story. There is lots of tension, emotions and danger as these two fight their attraction. The steaminess will keep you entertained while plenty of action will keep you turning pages as quickly as you can. A very enjoyable read.
Once again Dale has written an awesome book that pulls you in from the start and keeps you turning the pages till the end. I loved the character interactions and loved how the story continued from the last book in the series. There was romance, suspense, action and drama. You name it, this book has it. I loved how the two main characters, Geir and Morning, interact and how the story intertwines their lives together! I can’t wait for the next book in the series as the continuation of the main story-line keeps me coming back for more!

This book is so beautifully written, I felt like I was right in the middle of the action as we delve deeper into the mystery surrounding Mouse who was killed when their eight-man SEAL team unit hit a landmine seriously injuring all. I love this intense and emotional series with unforgettable characters, twists, turns, suspense, romance and so much more. I enjoyed the undeniable chemistry between Geir Pavla and Morning Blossom a talented painter who runs a B&B in San Diego.
Ms. Mayer is a champion at suspenseful SEAL romance and I can’t wait to read Jager’s story as they are getting closer to the bottom of and landmine mystery.
I received an advance reader copy of this book from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and unbiased review. I liked it so much, I purchased a copy to read again later.
Oh wow this book took me by surprise, just when I thought we’re getting closer to the truth, something came up and many questions pop up. There’s always a twist in every corner and that’s why I can’t put this book down and I can’t wait to read the next book, I’m dying to find out who’s this smart bad guy who’s always two steps ahead and what’s the motive and what it has to do with Mouse? Yes sooooo many questions and that’s why I love it.
There’s plenty actions, mysteries and suspense in this book, and of course there’s sweet love between Geir and Morning, their banter and sparks really palpable, they definitely put a big smile on my face. Yes I love this book and I devoured it pretty fast.
If you love suspense romance, this book and this series is a MUST-READ.
*I voluntarily received a review copy of this book
This is a continuing story about a search for a answer. Each book is the tale about one of the men injured in a mine explosion in Afghanistan as they look to solve the mystery concerning the devastating blast which injured all of the men and killing one of them. Dale Mayer has a way of focusing each book on a story of the follow up that has a satisfying ending while the original mystery unfolds as well.
This book is the 6th in the series and is focused on Geir’s story. He follows up in San Diego meeting Morning Blossom and this book is focused on them as the story continues to unfold. The characters are interesting and endear themselves to you making you want them to win.
I have become quite attached to this story and although I’m enjoying the journey to the final answers, I still want these characters to continue in future books. I will miss them if there is not a follow up with their lives.

This series only gets better with each book.
Geir Winthrop is still trying to find answers to who really is Mouse.
Morning Blossom runs a B&B in San Diego where Geir is staying while he checks out some info about Mouse.
This book is as good as the other 5 before it. It’s filled with mystery, action, murder and lets not forget the attraction between Geir and Morning. It will keep you on the edge of your seat through the entire book.
This is Geir and Morning Blossom’s story, but it is more than that. There are more answers to the mystery surrounding Mouse and what happened to this team. While still more questions are popping up. There is danger, humor, suspense, and romance. Another great addition to this series!
Wow. As we hit book 6 in the journey of 7 seals trying to find out who their opponent is who injured them all and killed a team mate with a road side bomb. Geir has gone to Coronado and a local B&B to track down leads with Jäger. As they meet Morning Blossom and start their investigations, unexplained things start to happen at her B&B. When the chips are down and all three of their lives are in danger from “poppy” can they all survive.
Wow. I know I was waiting for this book but OMG I want Jager’s book now. I can’t wait for book 7. There are so many questions that need answering.
I think Geir’s story is my favorite of this series. It is filled with suspence, murder, depravity and new found love. This story evoked so many emotions in me that at times I had to stop reading to collect myself. Dale Mayer has done a fabulous job on this series.
I love this story!
I am committed to this entire series. Each addition takes you deeper and deeper into the mystery surrounding this SEAL team and the horrific bombing that forever changed their lives. The deeper we go, the more tidbits that are revealed leading to a spectacular revelation, I’m sure!
Like Laszlo, Geir is one of the quiet ones. He moves with quiet intensity, is aware of his surroundings and all that are in it. I look forward to his interaction with Morning Blossom. She is as deep into this mission as much as the rest of the team, they all just don’t know it yet or how it all fits.
This story is loaded with tiny twists and turns that detail the current events as well as the past events Geir and the team are looking for. They solve one little riddle only to uncover a larger one that has a larger clue or a bigger mystery. I love this! Integrated with the clues uncovered is Morning’s underdeveloped passion for her art. She is a complex, deep, passionate woman and Geir is tuned right into her.
I remain hooked on this series with Geir and Jager quietly investigating some of the most heinous habits of one man but yet this one man is just a small part in this story. The clues uncovered are leading us on a merry chase that is all about finding the mastermind that has nearly destroyed each and every remaining member of this team. I couldn’t put it down and read this story all in one sitting. Each member of the team seems like family and I have to know what happens!
Excellent job! I loved it!
