“Spin the tales, Son of Eden. Weave them together. Make a reality all your own…”Three years ago, Fillion Nichols was poisoned, extracted from New Eden Township, and arrested for sabotage. In three days, he’ll return and ascend as majority owner of the human experiment. New Eden proclaims that he’s a man of magic–one who will save them from the evils of the Outside world. But, as the newly … the Outside world. But, as the newly appointed Gamemaster, Fillion knows that the truth is far more terrifying than the nightmares plaguing his sleep.
In order to live, something must die.
While the biodome community buzzes with activity over the Son of Eden’s return, Leaf Watson guards a dangerous secret. A secret that forces him to trade diplomacies of peace for declarations of war. Leaf’s energy is redirected, however, when he fights to save the life of his unborn child. Chin lifted high, Willow Oak marches into the Outside to represent New Eden in her brother’s stead. She longs to unleash her hurricane winds of justice upon the world that threatens her own. Yet when she sees the man who broke her heart, their combative grief endangers all.
In different worlds coded by the same illusions of power, Fillion, Leaf, and Willow must battle ever shifting images and perceptions––a necessity if they are to reboot their generation and save the community they swore to protect.
The future meets the past in this thrilling conclusion to The Biodome Chronicles, leaving behind a final question in the quest for truth.

So, book 3 was perhaps the hardest to get through. The mind games were insane, the manipulation cranked to the max, the betrayal at an all-time high. Like, I literally struggled with whether to read it all as quickly as possible, or curl up in a ball until it was all over, lol. But seriously worth reading through to the end. Just beautiful.
The only thing that I have mixed feelings about is the final epilogue. While meaningful and sentimental, I kind of hate endings where we go past “happily ever after” to “life goes on”. Something about closing that final chapter on the lives of the characters the author made me love, even to show that they lived a good life and left a positive mark on the world they left behind, makes me sad. So if you’re like me, don’t read that last epilogue.
Otherwise, an incredible serious with a poignant and timely message.
Wow this book is a Fantastic read. It grabbed me from the first page to the last. It a real page turner that had me on the edge of my seat. With lots of twists and turns. I love how well This story is written. Its like the Characters just jump of the page. This is a definite must read.

Gamemaster is the crowning Jewel of the Biodome Chronicles! I couldn’t put it down, never knowing what would happen next. I laughed, worried, cheered, was surprised, and cried. Truly original, Sundin’s mastery of storytelling and writing are a joy to my soul.
A thrilling conclusion to the series, Gamemaster takes readers on a rollercoaster of emotions and makes you think about the world around you. Expect to laugh and cry along with the characters we’ve learned to love and hold dear. This whole series is genre-bending and insightful and Sundin’s writing is masterful. You can tell that she paid close attention to every minute detail, making the world(s) so realistic. Indeed this seies is a must-read.
Such an epic conclusion to a great series! I received an ARC for a honest review, and I can honestly say that I loved this book! The entire series was engaging, original, and pulled on your emotional heart strings. It also has a main antagonist that you just love to hate. I’m so happy to finally know the ending and yet so sad that it’s over, pretty sure a little piece of me died when I read the last word. Such a beautifully written book, I would most definitely recommend this book/series as a must read!
A satisfying conclusion to a groundbreaking series.
Sundin’s eco-punk trilogy, The Biodome Chronicles, broke new ground in YA dystopian sci-fi, portraying a grim future interspersed with scenes from a harmonious medieval biodome culture.
Now Gamemaster concludes the series by shattering what was left of that ground. Sundin is not afraid to veer from the tropes of this genre and entertainment in general, giving her characters license to forge the world they want to live in, rather than be trapped in social mores. I’d elaborate on this, but I don’t want to give away any spoilers here. Suffice it to say, this book presented a refreshing take on love and social roles.
At the same time, Sundin nails every single satisfying scene in this book, right up to the climax and beyond. The emotional journeys of these characters, especially Fillion, are both heart-wrenching and convincing.
In addition to being sci-fi with a medieval flair, this book is also part mystery, part sweet romance (a little steamy at times, but nothing explicit). Perhaps in part to alleviate some of the edge-of-seat tension, Sundin punched up the humor in this book compared to the rest of the series, especially in the scenes with Mack. I couldn’t eat or drink while reading Gamemaster for fear of snorting food up my nose.
Complex enough to be mentally stimulating, but simple enough to keep me turning the pages, Gamemaster is one of the best books I’ve read in the last decade, and possibly the best series-concluding book I’ve ever read. While I’m sad The Biodome Chronicles is finished, I’m also excited to see what Sundin has in store for readers next–whatever it is, I’ll be eating it up.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This has got to be one of the most unique story concepts I’ve ever read!
Having read book’s one and two, Gamemaster is by far my favorite! It captures your attention immediately and will not let go until you’re reeling and grinning and sobbing as the series concludes.
The ending. Wow. That ending. Get ready for your heart to explode.
I’ve discovered what is real: this world and the characters in it!
Do yourself a favor and read this beautiful story!
In this satisfying conclusion to the Biodome Chronicles, the author weaves a tale of death, betrayal, intrigue, redemption, and love. I received an Advance Reader Copy in exchange for a review, and I am honored to report that I have enjoyed this series immensely. It will be quite difficult to say goodbye to these characters! It is rare to find a book series that can be described as edgy and unique while also being emotionally moving and sincere. Sundin accomplishes this with impeccable research with the technical aspects, beautiful descriptions of human relationships and ceremony, and adept use of language in the character dialogue. I highly recommend Gamemaster, but be sure to read the other books in the series first!
I received an ARC of Gamemaster in exchange for an honest review.
I’ve loved The Biodome Chronicles from the get-go. Legacy was intriguing and the concept was unique. Elements only served to draw me in further. And now, Gamemaster, the conclusion. And what a glorious conclusion it was.
Or, in best summary, the happy ending that ripped my heart out.
We pick up three years after the events of Elements and immediately there is a great deal more tension in Gamemaster. This is possibly the most serious of the series, but I feel like the deeper meaning between the pages was stronger. Jesikah wove the conclusion of her series beautifully, tying up all the loose ends and answering the ever haunting question – Are you ready to discover what’s real?
I don’t have enough words for how beautiful it is to see this series conclude, but also how heart-wrenching. I’ve grown so attached to the characters, world, and their story that seeing this final arc definitely leaves behind a touch of book hangover. But in the best possible way. The Biodome Chronicles make you think, make you ask questions, make you search for the deeper meaning. We need more books like these.
Five stars isn’t enough. Highly recommend. You need these books in your life! <3
