When the stakes are this high, it’s game on. . . . “Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”—New York Times bestselling author Carly Phillips Cam Brickley and his pro hockey teammates bet on everything: who can win five faceoffs in a row, who can do forty pushups in less than a minute, who can eat a ghost pepper without puking. But when his buddies bet him he can’t date the same woman—like, say, … date the same woman—like, say, the hot blonde over at the bar—for two months and not fall in love, he’ll take that bet all day. Then he’ll laugh all the way to the hockey arena, where they’ll be washing his jock straps for the rest of the season, because Cam’s never giving up his bachelor lifestyle.
Olivia Lockwood, heiress to the Lockwood Industries fortune, is used to people using her for her money and family connections. When Cam Brickley hits on her in a club, Olivia’s first instinct is to brush him off. But he couldn’t be using her for her money, since he has more than enough of his own. Cam’s gorgeous and built, and it would be no hardship to go out with him . . . besides, he’d be the perfect spokesperson for the children’s charity she works with. Maybe it’s time for her to start using people.
Cam and Olivia are both in it for something. What they don’t know yet is that they’re playing for keeps.

Super sad to see the end of the Chicago Aces series. But I enjoyed the humor between Cam and Olivia. Two people who are looking for some fun without the attachment of a relationship. Cam being the only single player left on the team, was pushed into a bet to ask a woman out, then there is a second more in depth bet.
Things do not go smoothly as one date turns to two and then more. I did my share of giggling at the antics while reading. Olivia has her insecurities with her body and feeling of not beong good enough for her family. Cam has been so focused on hockey that relationships have never been on his radar, but could it be his past holding him back.
The more time they spend together the more they find it harder to be apart. If theu could just be honest with themselves and truly let love in their heart. Can they push fear aside and truly give this a try? Could there be an HEA and possibly a Stanley Cup too?
I am going to miss the Chicago Aces Hockey team.

5 STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
I want to start by saying I’m incredibly sad to see this series ending. I knew it was coming, but that doesn’t make it any easier. I love a great hockey romance and Kelly Jamieson has done just that with this series and especially Game On.
I loved Cam. We have met him before as a secondary character, but it was nice to see him on his own. There were moments when I wanted to slap him upside the head, but he had grew on me as he grew as a person. I love that about Kelly Jamieson. She can make you fall for a character with her words. It takes true talent to do that.
Olivia is just trying to raise awareness for her foundation. A few dates with Cam couldn’t hurt right? Boy…I think this girl got more than she bargained for at times. It was fun watching her take Cam down a time or two.
I sincerely loved how this book wrapped everything up. I loved getting to check in with old and new friends. I can’t wait to see what Kelly Jamieson brings us in the future and I look forward to falling for her new characters.
Hockey star Cam Brickley can’t say no to a date. When his teammates bet him that not only can’t he get a date with the gorgeous blonde across the bar that he certainly can’t date her for two months without falling in love with her, he accepts immediately because he knows there’s no way he can possibly lose.
When Cam Brickley throws some terrible one liners her way, heiress Olivia Lockwood is about to shoot him down. But, maybe for once, someone isn’t trying to use her for her money or connections. And, just maybe, Olivia can use Cam’s fame to bring more attention to the children’s physical fitness charity she runs. Plus, he’s funny and sexy as can be.
The more time they spend together, the more Cam and Olivia start really enjoying each other. What happens, though when Cam and Olivia both realize they are playing the dating game with ulterior motives? Will they give up the game and admit their feelings or will they both be left holding a losinghand?
Kelly Jamieson’s Game On was an amazing addition to her Aces Hockey series! The dialogue was fun and flirty and just the right amount of pure naughty, and Cam is such the dirty talker.
Cam and Olivia were simply perfect together. Their first few dates are hilariously terrible and awkward. So terrible in fact, that you know something special is brewing since they still keep giving it another go despite their terrible odds.
Cam has never had a serious relationship, and it shows, as he is pretty terrible at it . . .but in the best of ways. It really shows how he genuinely cares about Olivia, even if he doesn’t want to admit it to himself. Olivia has also had rotten dating luck which has left her with poor self esteem when it comes to the opposite sex. Cam is simply amazing at building up her confidence and letting her finally be herself in a relationship.
There is plenty of angst as this is a relationship with an an end date . . .so when true feelings are revealed, it really is everything an left me with all the warm and fuzzies. Game on was also a phenomenal ending to the Aces Hockey series. The end of the book gives each series character a moment to shine, which will leave readers feeling super happy and fulfilled. 5 stars!
I was a fan of Kelly Jamieson even before I became part of the Wickedcoolflight Crew. You see, I am a hockey fan and Kelly writes the best books about hot hockey players. Game On is the ninth and final book in the Aces Hockey Series. Hold on. Give me a minute to mourn. Sorry. I’m good now because she’s starting a NEW hockey series…Wynn Hockey with a team based out of Los Angeles. Close your eyes and just imagine…hot hockey players on the beach. Sign me up!!! But first, I need to tell you about Game On – the story of Cam and Lauren.
It started as another bet between the players. They are all married off and think everyone else should be as happy as they are. Well…everyone except Cam. To Cam, the thought was downright depressing. The bet was that Cam couldn’t date the same woman for two months without falling in love. Easy. Cam doesn’t fall in love. The wager is laundry. The loser will do the nasty, dirty, after practice and game shorts for the rest of the calendar year. The guys even picked the girl…the hot blond at the bar that was probably out of Cam’s league. Seriously? That alone was like a double dog dare. Cam was out to win because losing meant giving up his prized possession – his Stiff T-shirt which read “If it ain’t STIFF it ain’t worth a fuck.”
Lauren used some of the money from her trust fund to start Move On Chicago, a nonprofit organization which promoted health a wellness of Chicago youth through organized running programs. Move On Chicago grew quickly, but things had stagnated and they needed star power…an athlete like Cam “Brick” Brickley to be a spokesperson and attract partners. Lauren wasn’t looking for a relationship. She needed star power. She needed Cam. A few drinks and maybe a date wouldn’t hurt. Right?
The dating adventures of Cam and Lauren will leave you laughing. If it could go wrong, it went wrong. Kelly does such a good job with the development of major and minor characters. I laughed. I got mad. I teared up. I cheered. GO ACES HOCKEY! Without hesitation, I give Kelly Jamieson’s Game on 5 out of 5 propellers!
An enjoyable read. Cam and Olivia’s story grabbed my attention from the start. Enjoyed their journey from their unforgettable first date to the very end. Sad to say goodbye to the Aces but excited to see what’s coming next.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.
I’ve seen this author’s books, read the blurbs, and thought they were interesting. But I never seem to have time to read them. When the opportunity came about to read this one, I jumped at it, even knowing it was the last in the series (I mean, really, who starts a series reading the last book?!?) I’m so glad I did! This book was amazing!
Cam is a hot hockey player. On the outside, he is a cocky playboy. He doesn’t do relationships, doesn’t get involved, doesn’t do love. When a bet with his teammates throws Olivia in his path, he decides he can spend some time with her, win the bet, and keep his heart to himself.
Olivia is sweet. There is no other way to put it. She is giving, loving, and funny. But her kind nature makes it easy for her to be taken advantage of. And there are things in her past that lend to her being hurt by others, and she doesn’t think she is good enough, thinks she is going to spend the rest of her life alone.
These two are so perfect together! I loved their chemistry and their connection, even when they both were denying it, fighting against it. This was a wonderful story, and I enjoyed it a lot. So much so, that I’m going to have to go back and read the rest of the series!
This book was funny, quirky and hot. I was really enjoying getting to know Cam and Olivia.
Olivia had great personality but was a bit shy around men. Enters Cam who is a definition of a strong, sexy and dirty-mouthed man. He is everything I tell you EVERYTHING we expect to find in a hockey layer. But just like most men he’s also a bit clueless so I ended up frustrated with him but he won my heart with the end of the day with his “grand gesture”.
I feel disappointed that this is my first Kelly Jamieson book. I need to change this ASAP.

This is book #8, in the Aces Hockey series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader understanding and to avoid spoilers, I recommend reading this series in order.
Cam bets his teammates he can get a date with the hot girl. She seems to not be interested in him, but there is something that just gives him hope. Then when they try to go on a date, the mishaps begin.
Olivia has no idea how to approach Cam about helping her out on a professional level. They start trying to date and it seems to be almost a wedge between them. Then she gets to know him. It changes everything.
This series is just so good! I was laughing my way through this book. The characters are such a joy to read. There is heat, humor and heart. Great combination.

Cam and Olivia are perfect for one another if they can just realize it’s forever.
This emotional roller coaster of this book was very enjoyable with not only romance, but self love as well.
Loved!! Cam and Olivia’s story was a great way to wrap up this series. While I hate seeing the Aces series end I’m sure Ms. Jamieson has more great hockey reads in store for us.
Cam and his team mates will pretty much bet on anything so when they bet him he can’t date the same woman for two months without falling in love he’s certain he has this one in the bag. It doesn’t take him long after meeting Olivia to realize he might be in trouble. Could she be that one that has him going all in?
Fantastic story and one for the must read list. I highly recommend it.
Kelly Jamieson leads the league with GAME ON, the last book in the Aces Hockey series. Cam Brickley’s teammates bet him that he cannot date the same woman for two months and not fall in love with her. Olivia Lockwood needs a spokesman for her charity. They both want something from the other, and neither one of them is interested in an actual relationship.
As always, Kelly Jamieson does an amazing job with her character development. Initially, Cam and Olivia used each other; Cam to win a bet and Olivia for PR for her charity. As they get to know each other, feelings develop. I like Olivia. She is an heiress and has been used by people in the past for her connections. Her self-esteem is not the best because she has been verbally beaten down by her family. She is an honorable woman with admirable goals. Cam is a good guy. He’s great with the kids at Olivia’s charity. I like how he defends Olivia.
The plot was skillfully executed and interesting. Being a Chicago, I appreciated that this series takes place there. I love all the history that was shared in this story. GAME ON is a hard book to put down and may cause a book hangover. The ending to GAME ON was perfect for not only the book but the series. I am sad this series is over, but I am thrilled that Kelly Jamieson is coming out with a new hockey series (Wynn Hockey) that Aces players will be making an appearance in. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
As a hockey fan, I had to pick up a hockey-centric sports romance. The main characters Olivia and Cam were great fun and they found themselves in some pretty hilarious situations, but I wanted more from the characters: depth, development and background, but it just wasn’t there.
Jamieson tried to go for a hat trick with Game On: heart, humor and heat. And while she delivers delivers humor and heat (seriously, it’s a whole lot of sexy . . .) in spades, the heart was overshadowed. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve nothing against a racy read, but it needs the heart, emotions, character development, and storyline to back it up and not just debauchery. Or at least be labeled under erotic romance rather than contemporary romance so readers know what to expect.
I did not know there were eight previous books to the Aces Hockey series that stated it could be read together or separately, but at times the characters and dialogue were overwhelming without the context of the previous books. So it probably would have been best to start at the beginning to fully appreciate the characters and the series.
2.5 – 3 stars
Breaking the rules is his favorite past time. A heartbreaker with a bad boy image and lustful good looks, Cam has never met a challenge he can’t conquer. Until Olivia. Olivia wants to matter. Her sole purpose in life is to be more than a dollar sign people hope to acquire. When Cam crosses her path, she hopes he’s the one who can see beyond the money into the wounded heart underneath. Could this be real or a fantasy too good to be true? Jamieson can break a heart, tempt a soul and win a smile in one sitting. Game On is the perfect example of why she’s a MUST HAVE on my Ereader.
4.5 Aces High stars
Game On is the first book I have read by Kelly Jamieson. So, I was pleasantly surprised not to find myself lost as I tried to navigate my way through book eight of the ‘Aces High’ series. This book was a true standalone, a complete definition of the word.
I loved how Cam Brickley and Olivia Lockwood met. It was a cheesy ‘meet-cute’ set up by Cam’s Aces’ teammates. But, it was so well done it showed that beneath the cocky veneer, Brick, as he was known to the hockey team, really had a heart of gold. This was proved on their first date which took a turn for the worse before getting better. But, I loved how it gave Cam the opportunity to let Olivia know he wasn’t like any guy she’d met before.
But, Cam has a reputation as a player and doesn’t do relationships. Now, after making a bet with his friends, he has to spend two months with Olivia and not fall for her.
Simple?
He thinks so. But, can he go the distance?
Olivia runs a non-profit company and after recognizing Cam, she decides to agree to go out with him so she can ask him to be a spokesperson for Move On, Chicago. She’s not looking for a relationship either and in the end, they make a deal.
Fool their friends and family until the time is up, then call it quits
The only people being fooled were themselves. From their first meeting, these two radiated heat and charm. With snappy one-liners, history lessons made sexy and a cute as pie furbaby, this was soon on the road to ever after land. But, a simple question puts it all on the line and Cam is left floundering. Can he man up and fix is mistake before the timer runs out or will he be left with an empty hand?
Get your fix and find out.
Book 8 and the final story in the Aces Hockey Series and like the rest this book can be read as a stand-alone. This is one of my favourite sports romance series and if you love Hockey you will certainly want to one click Olivia and Cam’s story…..
Olivia Lockwood may come from money but her heart is with her not for profit Children’s Foundation that she runs so when an opportunity to date a high profile hockey player by the name of Cam Brickley comes along she has no hesitation because all publicity is good publicity.
Cam Brickley is a player on and off the ice and he seems to be the only senior player who hasn’t settled down and to be honest he is happy with his life as it is but when his teammates have a bet that he can’t date Olivia without falling in love he jumps at the chance after all he hasn’t fallen in love up til now so why would this girl be any different …..
I love this series because I feel like I know this team and they feel like friends I’m catching up with in the local bar, am I sorry to see this series end off course and I will miss them all but Kelly Jamieson has finished this series off with a bang and I’m sure I will be going back to book 1 to re read as soon as time permits. The characters are fun loving and there is plenty of witty banter to make you smile and let’s not forget the sizzling chemistry all in this book is everything you want in a passionate, lighthearted RomCom. Looking forward to seeing where Ms Jamieson takes us next
The end of an era…but the beginning of everything else.
Brick finally gets his story in Game On. Not one for love, relationships, or anything past a few “dates”, he finds himself in the unmarked lands of relationshipville. Not exactly a voluntary trip either but a bet is a bet.
Come cheer on the Aces for the final installment of the series. Fight for the Cup, love, and not having to handle nasty jockstrap.
When his teammates issue the bet of all bets, Cam Brickley knows it’s one he has to win or he will never live it down. They want him to turn in his Lothario card, and take on a more respectable stance when it comes to the ladies, you know, keep the same one around for two months straight. Cam gladly accepts the bet, cause he is certain that he won’t be bitten by the love bug, but then again he never expected to meet a woman quite like Olivia Lockwood.
The moment these two meet the sparks start to swirl, but they are both determined to not let love in, so they try to keep their feelings under wraps. It’s just two months of fun they have to endure, to stick it to his teammates, and then their done. Seems easy enough right?
Game On is a sexy little page-turner that is certain to awaken the feels, give a nice little tug on the heartstrings and have you smiling throughout! This can’t miss addition to the Aces Hockey series had me hooked from the first page, these determined lovebirds wandered on to the page and I couldn’t help but get wrapped up in their journey. They had me giggling and swooning from start to finish! Highly recommend you get yours hands on this one, it’s pages are filled with humor and heart!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
What a way to end a great series! I have enjoyed every book I’ve read in this series and Game On did not disappoint. Cam and Olivia had me hooked from the start with their playful banter and off the charts chemistry. I dare say they have become my favorite couple in the series. I am so sad that this series is ending but look forward to more hockey romance from Kelly Jamieson.
This is the final book in the series and what a great ending it had. I was happy to see this team really sore in Game On. I’ve gotten to know each one and have loved getting their individual stories.
Game On is Cam and Olivia’s story. While all of the previous main characters are in each book, the author did a great job of making them each a standalone book.
Cam was a tough character for me. I liked him but he had his moments where I didn’t. This is where the author showed some great character growth. He’s the player that has never failed at anything and we got to see a glimpse into his life and how there is more to his story and why he is the way that he is.
I really liked Olivia. She did have some insecurities but they seemed justified and I never felt like they truly got in the way of her and Cam. She really put herself out there for him once she realized she was falling in love with him. I loved to see that especially after all that has happened with her.
For the last book, I loved that the author filled it with some great history of Chicago, IL. I actually live near there and I learned some fascinating things I feel like I should have already known. My next trip to Chicago will be with new eyes.
I’m sad to see this series is over but was reassured that the author is not done with bringing us more hockey romances in the future.

Game On is the final book in Kelly Jamieson’s Aces Hockey Series. You don’t have to read the previous books to enjoy this one. This is my first book that I’ve read in the series and I didn’t feel lost at all. What it did do was make realize I need to read the other books in the series.
I thought this book was a sweet, sexy, fun and entertaining read without a lot of drama. I didn’t think it dragged in certain spots but not enough to ruin the story for me. I loved how this story jumped right to the heart of things from the beginning but then as the book went on it felt like it lost its way for a bit. Maybe I just thought it would’ve gone a different way. Any way…this is definitely worth the read. Especially if you are a sports romance fan and love stories about HOT hockey players!!
In this book we follow Cam and Olivia. Cam is a member of the Aces Hockey team and kind of a player on and off the ice. He is not one to settle down, so when he teammates make him a bet, he just can’t refuse. Olivia comes from a wealthy family but has always felt inferior to her siblings. So she decided to do something she loved and started a non-profit to help kids get healthy. Just coming off a bad relationship, she has sworn off men, so when Cam approaches her she sees an opportunity to help herself and the foundation. Can these two get on the same page? Will they find their HEA?? Read this book to find out.
Like I said this is the final book in this series and we see all the past couples in this book. I thought this book wrapped up everyone’s story very well. Don’t worry if you haven’t read any of the past books, nothing is spoiled, you’ll just want to go back and catch up on their stories….I know I do!!
I would recommend this book to all sport romance fans. If you love a hockey romance, this is the one to pick up. Kelly Jamieson is known for her hockey hunks!!
