Pitcher Aiden Kyle knows the Triple Play Curse has the ability to mess with his life and with his team’s performance. And, now that the curse has been triggered, Aiden also knows he has to do all he can to avoid being its next victim. And that means strippers and hand lotion in the shower for the rest of the season for him. Until Lily Dupree whirls into his world with a crash that puts a kink in … in his plan. If Aiden can find a way to help Lily and get her out of his life, he just might avoid being the next victim of the curse.
The Triple Play Curse
Every member of the Strikers, San Francisco’s professional baseball team, knows about the Triple Play Curse. When one Striker falls in love and gets either married or engaged during the season, two more will fall for a total of three. And, whenever the curse is in play, the team suffers for it. More errors and injuries, lost pennant runs, you name it. No one wants to trigger the curse.
Book One: Game Changer
Book Two: Game Maker
Book Three: Game Clincher
Each book in the series is a standalone plot with no cliffhangers. The series can be read in any order but readers may enjoy it best read from book one through three. These books were previously published under the same title as part of Bella Andre’s Game for Love World.

Book two in the Triple Play Curse series brings Aiden and Lily’s story. He’s determined not to get trapped in the curse but that all changes when he meets Lily. The author brings another fun and entertaining story with strong characters and a sweet and steamy romance. She does a great job bringing the story to life with the detailed scenes and cast of supporting characters. It’s well written, moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading. I’m loving this series!
A perfectly fun and sexy summer read with just the right amount of heat! This is a quick yet highly entertaining, emotional, engaging and action packed romantic adventure filled with great charters and undeniable passion. Great reading!
Rafe was dumb enough to start that curse and now Aiden is scared witless that he will be next. His great plan to avoid women until after the season puts him at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Lily is working at the Candy Shoppe Lounge in order to make money quick but she is a failure at waitressing and ends up spilling drinks all over a famous baseball player. When he jumps in to save her job she didn’t think he would end up saving more than that!
Lily is a good girl but maybe it is time to let loose and she knows just the right man for the job!
Reader be warned! You will need to set aside some time to read this novella because you won’t want to put it down! I know I didn’t and I finished it waaay to fast! I need more!
A Triple Play Curse strikes again. This time is for Aiden Kyle, he try everything in his power to do not be next victim.
Nothing works, only Lily would help him to be whole again.
Quick and funny read I enjoyed a lot.
Book Two of the Triple Play Curses, starts off with Aiden, player number two that is going to fall into the “Curse”. He meets Lily as a waitress, who is trying to get her business off the ground with healthy eating. Feeling start to develop, he tries to avoid Lily at all measures until that curse falls onto him.
Another quick read that I just loved.
An engaging way to spend your afternoon
Lily, a licensed dietician, meets Aiden, pitcher for the Strikers, when she is working at a strip club to make extra money for her business. As the story progresses business turns to pleasure, outside forces come into play, and overcoming fear is the secret to a happy ending. Game Maker is a lovely addition to the Triple Play Curse series, with a little less steam than Game Changer. Lori Ryan’s take on sports romance is an engaging way to spend your afternoon or read at bedtime.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Another short but sweet baseball novella. Aiden is nervous about meeting any women after teammate Rafe falls in love and initiates the curse. He’s determined to avoid them at all costs, but that idea quickly goes down the drain after meeting Lily waitressing at a seedy bar to make ends meet until her meal delivery business picks up. He ends up signing up for her nutrition service, and gets his teammates on board too so she can quit the bar. Of course, their desire to keep things casual doesn’t pan out and they both find themselves in too deep.
This series is great if you’re looking for quick reads. I didn’t want to put this one down. It’s got a bit of sweet romance, steam, and a HEA.
