After two of his teammates fall prey to the curse, Gage Collier realizes he’s got worse things to worry about than the power of the curse alone. He’s got his mother to fear, and the woman is on a mission. When a columnist spills the beans that the curse is in play and there’s only one victim left to be had, Gage’s mother spins a web designed to trap him into being its third victim and give her … the grandbabies she’s been wanting. Though the bait she sets is tempting, Gage has no interest in falling in love. With his mother strategizing against him, Gage probably doesn’t stand a chance, but he’ll go down fighting before he takes this hit.
The Triple Play Curse
Every member of the Strikers, San Francisco’s professional baseball team, knows about the Triple Play Curse. When one Striker falls in love and gets either married or engaged during the season, two more will fall for a total of three. And, whenever the curse is in play, the team suffers for it. More errors and injuries, lost pennant runs, you name it. No one wants to trigger the curse.
Book One: Game Changer
Book Two: Game Maker
Book Three: Game Clincher
Each book in the series is a standalone plot with no cliffhangers. The series can be read in any order but readers may enjoy it best read from book one through three. These books were previously published under the same title as part of Bella Andre’s Game for Love World.

Triple Play Curse strikes again! This time Momma is involved and the rules have all changed! Gage has no room for love in his life and his Mom has grown impatient. She schemes to set him up without him even knowing! Then, when his housekeeper can’t work she has to send in her daughter Talia to cover for her. Suddenly hearts and flowers are all Gage can think of, well and maybe the sway of Talia’s hips but she runs scared because there is no way she is letting love ruin her life like it did her Mom’s!
The 3rd book in the series of novellas.
A sweet, sexy romance where two people (Gage and Talia) not looking for love find themselves exactly in that situation. What will their next steps be?
I can say without giving anything away that Gage and Talia go in the exact opposite direction from one another. No worries. We still end up with a HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
Game Clencher was a delightful ending to the Triple Curse novellas. Lori Ryan delivered a sweet, fun, happily ever after. I could not put it down. I’m excited to move on to more of her books. If you are in the mood for fast moving instant love, this set is for you!
Good read!
I enjoyed the final book of the Triple Play Curse Series. Gage & Talia were with their melding Mamas were a great way to finish this series.
I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Game Clincher . The third book in the Triple Play Curse . I really enjoyed reading this story . Gage Collier is the San Francisco Strikers Catcher . If his mother has her way he will be the third player the triple play curse gets .
She wants grandbabies and is willing
to have other people help her with her plan . I love the characters . It’s a well written story . It’s entertaining an all out great story . I highly recommend taking the time to read and enjoy
Will the Triple Play Curse strike again? Gage Collier’s mother wants grandchildren. He is the catcher for the Strikers pro baseball team and has no intention of settling down with just one woman. Can his mother devise a plan to help her get those grandchildren? Talia Aguilar is helping her mother clean and cook for Gage while she completes college and starts her intern towards her MBA. She is firmly set on a career, not wanting to give up her educational goals as her mother did when raising her. She is attracted to Gage, but is not ready to settle down. A fling would be nice, as long as Gage doesn’t get too serious. What will Gage do when the tables are turned and he realizes that he is ready for commitment and Talia is not? A very entertaining and sexy romp as Gage must find a way to show Talia that loving him doesn’t mean she has to give up what she has worked so hard to achieve. I received an advance review copy at no cost and without obligation from the author. (by paytonpuppy)
A Triple Play Curse Novella…two down, one to go. You don’t stand a chance with your meddling mother.
Gage and Talia’s story.
Love the storyline in this book, unexpected but great.
We are back with the Strikers, and the Triple Play Curse. Already two have “fallen” to the curse (more like fallen in love) and the rest of the players are panicking. On previous occasions , the curse cost the professional baseball team the final win and/or injuries to their players.
Gage Collier, best friends with the now engaged Rafe and Aiden, is only dating “one night stands” to avoid the curse.
But his Mom, the matchmaker, and her friend Lucia, have other plans when they make it their mission to have both their “kids” meet “by accident”.
The very independent Talia and Gage start spending time together with the understanding that it’s only about sex, and not about feelings. But when fate intervenes, their lives are turned upside down.
This was another fun and sweet story in this trilogy. A great story for an afternoon of leisure.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
