Few gambles are worth “going all in.” This might be one of them.
I’ve got no trouble trusting my emotions.
Following my heart has helped me turn a struggling taverna into the coolest hotspot in town. And eventually, I’m sure I’ll be able to realize my dream of organizing a jazz festival that would help revitalize my small village—all with my lovely little restaurant at the heart of the action.
restaurant at the heart of the action.
But first, I’ve got to keep the corporate shark, Ryan O’Connor, from tearing my place apart.
It won’t be a straightforward task, though.
If I tagged the grumpy (and entirely too attractive) tycoon, right, he won’t back off easily. But to save what’s important for me, I’m prepared to gamble it all.
Except for my heart, of course.
Not that it could ever be at stake in this fight with the gorgeous billionaire, right?
If you love quirky heroines, grumpy yet swoon-worthy heroes, and soul-stirring kisses, then you’ll love this opposites-attract, small-town billionaire romance. Gambling with the Billionaire is the second book in the Gems of Love series. You can also read each book as a standalone.

Ah, gosh Bianca and Ryan are adorable. I truly enjoyed their banter and it kept me turning the pages fast. My e-reader lit up a few times from the off-the-chart chemistry of these two (which is a rather hard thing to achieve in a sweet book, by the way). All in all, this book delivered for me and then some.
I’m slowly going through all of Agnes Canestri’s books and I must say I enjoy them all. The stories are sweet and soooo swoon-worthy. This one is no exception. Plus I love a grumpy billionaire and a feisty heroine combo any day 🙂
It was a fun read, much needed in the lock-down time. Relatable, wonderful characters, swoony romance, and witty banter. All that I can expect from a clean romance. I’ll be reading the rest of the series, too.
Cute story!
I had a lot of fun reading this novel. I loved the main characters Bianca and Ryan. They had great chemistry and it was entertaining to read about their interactions. I also liked seeing their different POVs.
The plot was a bit predictable, but still enjoyable, and even though there were a few grammar/spelling errors, it was still a pleasure to read.
A great story with a HEA, I would recommend this if you are looking for a light, fun and sweet read!
I have truly enjoyed everything I have read so far by Agnes! She writes sweet books that make you feel good! We all need more of that in our lives! I liked that we met Bianca in Pearl of Love and now we get to see her develop as a character and get another little glimpse into her brother, Matteo’s life. I enjoy the real world descriptions of characters. Bianca has wrinkles, her hair falls in her face etc. It is nice to be able to relate to the character in that way. Bianca also loves music and I relate to that so much! Agnes Canestri’s books always have a beautiful setting and this book is no different. I enjoyed this sweet romance so very much! (less)
Ryan is a billionaire in town to buy a restaurant to make it part of a chain of restaurant. Bianca has worked for The Sapphire for three years rebranding and making it her vision of a old time jazz restaurant and venue. She doesn’t want to see it changed but how can she convince Ryan that The Sapphire is something special?
This was a sweet story about how we can learn from love’s influence how wonderful life can be with someone you love and how it helps us to see our future differently when influenced by love.
This book’s sexual description is behind closed doors. There is kissing and mild language but mostly a clean read.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
What a beautiful story about Bianca Biagi, Matteo’s sister. Bianca works at The Sapphire and the owner, Stefano Celli is meeting with Ryan O’Connor, the owner of Bright Future to sell the business. Bianca hopes to get Ryan to listen to her ideas and reconsider selling the company, once he buys it. I won’t leave any spoilers, but I will say this book will have you flipping the pages to see what will happen.
I really enjoyed reading this book! The author weaves a wonderfully sweet story with a few twists and tons of emotion in her characters. The characters are so lovable and I found myself pulled into the story rooting for them in various situations.
I read an ARC of this book and chose to give my opinion.
