Diamond thief falls for bear shifter security chief in Vegas. What could possibly go wrong?
Dragon shifter Karen Proulx is in Vegas to hunt down a diamond, not a mate. But the minute she lays eyes on the brown-eyed bear of her dreams, everything changes.
Bear shifter Tanner Lloyd is a man on a mission to save his home town. He doesn’t have time for a wild ride with the beguiling woman who turns … woman who turns his world upside down — especially one who’s half witch and a mortal enemy of his clan. But how can he resist the call of destiny, the pull of desire?
* A zany paranormal romance with adult content — not to mention vampires, gamblers, and a card-dealing panther who may or may not be in over his head. *
* A standalone sequel to GAMBLING ON HER DRAGON by Anna Lowe and Michelle Fox. *

Gambling on Her Bear was a humorous, delightful, and sweet read!
I had such a fun and enjoyable time reading this one. Ms. Lowe knows how to tell a story. I am always captivated by her writing.
Tanner and Karen worked as a couple. I had a great time read their story. Karen is the wild child and Tanner is the rules kinda of guy. Both learned something by being together; Karen on how to believe in herself and Tanner on how to shake things up a bit.
Gambling on Her Bear has plenty of humor and romance as these two work together to accomplish a goal and protect each other. It’s also got an interesting mix of supernaturals.
I highly recommend this author, Anna Lowe. Her paranormal romance series are always engaging and fascinating. I am never bereft.

Karen is in Vegas on a mission and she doesn’t plan on anything messing with her plan. Tanner is in Vegas working to secure the future of his clan. Little do they know what fate has in store for them. I really enjoyed Karen and Tanner’s story. She is more of a fly by the seat of her pants while he is a planner, and they bring out the best in one another.
2 stars – It was ok
Dragon shifter Karen Proulx is in Vegas to steal a diamond. Her loose plan quickly encounters some problems including finding her bear shifter mate is one of the security guards.
After meeting Karen in the previous book and in the prequel short story, Gambling on Trouble, I wasn’t very happy with Karen. But I figured I would give her book a chance and see if she got better, or at least to get a better explanation of why she was in trouble in the first place. Sadly she didn’t really get better. She is reckless, impulsive and kind of ungrateful. Her sister risks her life to save her and she just turns around and goes right back to what she was doing that got her in trouble. She didn’t even have a great reason to want to steal the diamond.
Tanner was an ok hero. I felt he got overshadowed by Karen’s recklessness. He is protective, sensible, and a planner. Basically, the complete opposite of Karen. I liked him. Overall, this was just an ok fated mates/ instant love romance. I wish I could have enjoyed it more but Karen was just a heroine that didn’t really work for me.
This world is as entertaining as Vegas can get. Enjoyed reading and hope to read more from this author soon.
This author writes the best books. 4.5 stars
I really enjoyed this story which carries on from Gambling on Her Dragon which was in the Charmed in Vegas series.
In this book we have Karen, the sister we met in book 1 who was held by the vampires to pay back a debt.
We find out what happened to her, why she was captured and held for her debts.
We also meet Tanner, a yummy, hunky, sexy bear shifter. I know, but he deserves these adjectives.
Once again we get a well written and paced story. I could not put it down until I had finished it, even though I was dog tired.
