So loved this story. As usual Dale has a way of telling a story. In this case, a high maintance mother with a sweet little girl, a sister is always there to help and protect. Galen is sent to Germany to help Zach with a case with a brewery company only it’s so much more. Plenty of action, lies, murder, deceit and a broken hearted little girl. HEA
Galen had planned to relax but when Levi asked him to help out Zack on a case set in a brewery he’s game to escape the compound which is a bit too full of couples in love for him. When there with Zack he meets Gemma and her sister Rebecca who is the real reason the call for help was sent. Gemma had learnt a long time ago how to handle her sister and her niece. So when they both end up in deep trouble she drops everything and takes charge of the situation. However, it IS dangerous and she really needs help and although Galen wasn’t what she had in mind, but he appears to be capable. What she certainly didn’t expect was a situation that required focus due to the danger and the result which could be love at first sight.
This was a lovely story that was quite convoluted at times and a real mystery which only became clear at the very end. I like the feistiness of Gemma and the calm way that Galen handled whatever was thrown at him. There was plenty of action at times and throughout the story, there was the mystery of what happened and who did what to solve. The final conclusion will be surprising to the way the story started. I liked the way the story was written which was clear and easy to read and I enjoyed the mystery as I tried to figure out who did what. There is only sexual content at the very end of the story.
