This is definitely a series worth reading. Not many authors can make a sequel as good as the first book, but Melissa Haag keeps doing that with each of her series. I am always thrilled to read her books. This is a continuation from book 1, so it’s not a stand-alone. It’s a fantastic story that kept me reading too late into the night since I just couldn’t put it down. I love Megan & Oanen, the main characters, but the secondary characters are also fantastic, & want to see what happens to them as well. I also love how Megan learns about herself & becomes a better person for it. The relationship between Megan & Oanen has evolved into their own beautiful love story. This book pulled me in from the first page, and flowed fast & smoothly. I was lost in the story, and felt all the emotions from Megan right a long with her. What a fantastic series, & I can’t wait for the next book!
And the amazing continues!I love love love this book! It picks up right after book 1, And does not disappoint. Megan is the “Fury” and she starts growing her powers more and is desperately trying to control it but is having a hard time. Plus now she actually has a boyfriend now Oanen. So when the school starts lecturing her they start to test her “temper” not cool. Ps. Watch out for mermaids… they are the opposite of the LITTLE MERMAID disney movie. Hilarious!! Oh the humor will kill you laughing so much! You’re welcome
Loved this book!
The first in the series was fantastic, and we learn so much about Megan and what she needs to do in order to be able to leave Uttira. But, this second one makes everything clearer and more exciting as she studies to try to figure out what she is and what her place in this new world might be. And even as Oenen risks his life to help her through this most difficult stage of her life, we’re kept on the edge of our seats, wondering if either of them will survive the changes she is going through and if she’ll ever find the answers she’s looking for.
It’s exciting and frightening along with being sweet and hot (no pun intended). The adventure the author takes us on is intricate and eye-opening and involves so many interesting beings we never could have imagined. But I have to say that my favorite part is how strong the heroine is. She has moments of weakness, but she stands up on her own two feet and keeps fighting through each hurdle that is thrown at her. She stubborn and single-minded which doesn’t leave room for much more. But somehow, those who care for her most push their way into her heart until she can do nothing but accept them inside. The story is sweet, angry, dangerous, passionate and powerful. And I have no idea where the author is going to take it from here.
I enjoyed this story. I am looking forward to reading the next book. I hope that Megan gets to help make the changes that she can see that need to be made that will help everyone.
