What could possibly be better than devoted Goofy Newfies and playful Itty Bitty Kitties? How about some fluffy and adorable Funny Bunnies who hop over to join in the fun? Hope Montgomery has no doubt that she is the right person to become the next mayor of her beloved town, Nestlebrook Cove. She and her sweet pet, Honey-Bunny, won’t let anything stand in their way––especially not the current … anything stand in their way––especially not the current mayor––as they sway voters to their side.
Mayor Michael Snow loves his town, his job, and his country. He has big plans for growth in his thriving community, and he’s not going to let Hope or her cute little cottontail rabbit stop him.
Hope and Michael are vying for the same elected position. Neither is willing to admit to the dazzling spark of attraction simmering just beneath the surface between them. Will they find a solution that makes them both happy? The town’s snuggly bunnies may have to insist on it.
This delightful romantic comedy can be enjoyed as a standalone read or as the third book in The Pet Set.

Super cute and a quick read… who doesn’t love a good bunny tale?
I’m so excited… Anna Omasta always entertains.
Funny Bunnies: A Sweet Opposites-Attract Romance Novelette (The Pet Set #3) was a great quick read by Ann Omasta. Hope wants to become the next mayor of Nestlebrook Cove. She won’t let the current mayor Michael get in her way. But Michael won’t let Hope or her cute pet bunny get in his way. They are both attracted to each other although they refuse to admit the attraction. I really enjoyed Hope and Michael’s story and can’t wait to read more by Ann Omasta.
FUNNY BUNNIES is the third book in the Pet Set trilogy. While I agree that it could probably stand alone, it makes even more sense if you know that players (especially the furry ones) from the first two books.
I read the first two books in audio format a few months ago and hoped there would be more. Wish granted! This time with funny bunnies.
Cute, short, and sassy, this has all of the ear-marks – or should I say long-ear-marks – of a Hallmark romantic comedy.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

A sweet, cute, fast read!
Cuuute! It’s a novelette so a really quick read. Sweet! I always think, when done right, pets can really add a lot to a story. Adorable! And the humans were nice too! An entertaining read, that I do feel was a bit fast. But it was really funny! It did leave me feeling good!

Oh My! The Mayor has female competition for his job and he’s none too pleased about it. As the two of them bicker little do they realise that the chemistry between them is for all to see – except them! A lovely and sweet romance with humour by Ann Omasta that will leave you with a smile on your face. Read the other two books in the series too as they are great reads too! I should have expected a fun romantic short story just by reading the title of this book, but I didn’t. So colored me surprised when it was exactly what I got.
I won’t talk much about the plot of the book because it’s really short and I don’t want to spoil anything. I can tell you it was funny, entertaining, lighthearted, adorable, a little unrealistic (it’s fiction) and has a happy ever after for an end. Oh, and there’s a lot of pets here so be ready for some rambunctious and crazy moments.
Character-wise I would have loved to know more about the main couple’s background but I completely understand that a short story doesn’t have space for those details most of the time, so there wasn’t a problem, just something I would have like to see. Both are strong but I found the female protagonist to be a little unreliable, in my opinion, specifically when they had their first kiss and what she thought about before and after.
I would recommend this short story. I think it’s a great read for a short moment when you have some time, maybe with a cup of coffee or hot cocoa. I know I read it with a cup of coffee and it was a joy to have a smile on my face and something hot to drink.

A quick, fun and sweet read! Very charming and entertaining! Love this series! I read an ARC copy of this book
This book continues the stories of the newfies and their unruly behaviour. Hope is shocked when her pet bunny – her everything – is kidnapped by a giant black dog. In persuit of the dog she ends up at our beloved newfies’ home, where she finds out that her bunny is not the only one kidnapped. Strangely the bunny seems happy in the company of the dogs. The second bunny belongs to her political rival, but the animals – and their owners make it difficult to stay contrary.
As usual the story is a mix of highly entertaining animal misbehaviour and romance. Personally I was a little put off by the story teller, as she was a little too hectic and panicky for my taste. But that is my personal preference.

This book was a breath of fresh air. I will HAVE to look up the rest of the series! The drama isn’t unbelievable, the characters act like adults! They work through their differences and fall in love. It is great! The animals are fun too. Sweet and fun, a very enjoyable read.

Sweet Treat
Michael Snow and Hope Montgomery have two things in common. One, they are both running for mayor of their beloved Nestlebrook Cove and two, they both have pet bunnies.
This sweet treat of a tale encompasses the inner turmoil of politics, the old fashion way of life in a small city and the power of a pet.
One thing is for sure, this remarkable little community will never be the same, no matter who wins the election.

A quick and clean romance.
This is a cute and clean romance that is fun to read without all the drama.
Hope is running for mayor against the incumbent, Michael, but as they get to know each other she isn’t sure what she wants. I really enjoyed how quickly I got pulled into their story and how they started to listen to each other and learn about each other. It really is a sweet romance.

Love love it! This is a funny, sweet opposites attract romance! Hope and Michael are both running for Mayor and she thinks they are total opposites. She finds out that they both have a love for their furry pets! This is the best way to spend an afternoon!!
Hope and Michael spar in a competing race for mayor, but they can’t deny their attraction. Their pet bunnies Honey and Sonny were cute and it was great to catch up with the animals and their humans from the previous books. There were plenty of funny moments in this short Valentine’s Day romantic comedy. I didn’t like how they laughed over Rascal the newfie stealing the rabbits and carrying them around in his mouth. He could have hurt them.
I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just couldn’t get enough of it and once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Hope wants to be Mayor of Nestlebrook Cove but one person is in her way Michael the current Mayor. Love the witty banter between Hope and Michael. This is a sweet story about two people who go from enemies to lovers with a great HEA. The author’s writing is descriptive and leaves the reader feeling like they know the characters and Nestlebrook Cove.
This book had me smiling from the first page to the last one, a bench, and bunny-nappers are just some of the things that had me smiling. A cute well written story that held my interest throughout. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

2 bunnies and 2 rivals makes for a cute and funny read, Michael is the current Mayor and Hope is running against him in the next election and she thought she had an edge to the election due to her bunny Honey until she finds out her now has a bunny called Sunny. This is a super cute read where we see Hope and Michael actually get to know each other, bicker like an old married couple and see if they can become more while both still try to win the Mayoral race! It was great to see they guys from Goofy Newfies and Itty Bitty Kitties too and see what they are up to since we last read about them

Funny Bunnies is light hearted short story of Hope Montgomery and her little bunny Honey Bunny. Hope is running for mayor as in competition with the current mayor who is using his bunny in election ads. Love that Rascal the Newfie is also a big part of the story! Funny Bunnies is delightful and a really good story. I received a free copy of this book and have voluntarily chosen to review it.
