What could possibly be better than devoted Goofy Newfies and playful Itty Bitty Kitties? How about some fluffy and adorable Funny Bunnies who hop over to join in the fun? Hope Montgomery has no doubt that she is the right person to become the next mayor of her beloved town, Nestlebrook Cove. She and her sweet pet, Honey-Bunny, won’t let anything stand in their way––especially not the current … anything stand in their way––especially not the current mayor––as they sway voters to their side.
Mayor Michael Snow loves his town, his job, and his country. He has big plans for growth in his thriving community, and he’s not going to let Hope or her cute little cottontail rabbit stop him.
Hope and Michael are vying for the same elected position. Neither is willing to admit to the dazzling spark of attraction simmering just beneath the surface between them. Will they find a solution that makes them both happy? The town’s snuggly bunnies may have to insist on it.
This delightful romantic comedy can be enjoyed as a standalone read or as the third book in The Pet Set.

Bunny Love and Political Rivalries
This is a very short novella that builds on the previous 2 books in the series. It stands alone well but features characters from the other books. The story can be easily read in an hour and is mental fluff. It is cute and requires no thinking at all. I received this book for free and this is my honest review.
Rascal and Riley are back with a whole new collection of friends. This was a super fast, super fun little story that adds bunnies to the furry mix of pets we’ve already met. And the whole menagerie completely runs away with the story. Hope and Michael are a bit of a political Odd Couple; their snarky banter would make Felix and Oscar proud. In the end, they’re doing it all for the bunnies.

A town that has more crazy bunny fans than they knew also has two bunny fond dogs, prone to borrowing the bunnies for surrogate puppies. I personally grew up around hunting dogs who would have garnered far less kind responses to loose rabbits, so I can understand the mayoral candidate facing some terror about the bunny napping by the big dog.
In the end, that dog and his mate were very friendly woofies, and the bunnies were content. My first fear would also have been bad chew toy adventure.
Instead of disaster, both candidates ended up with new pals and Valentine dates.
Love and friendship are curious things- especially when Newfies get slobberingly involved.

Funny Bunnies (The Pet Set Book 3) by Ann Omasta. I thought this book was very sweet, and I found the characters to be charming. It was a quick feel good story with just enough drama to sit down and relax with over the weekend.

This is a quick and very fun read, especially with the characters from the other books in this series.
Hope Montgomery and Michael Snow are running for who will be the next mayor of Nestlebrook Cove, and both are focused on the upcoming elections.
But when Hope arrives home one day and discovers that her bunny Honey has disappeared, she walks through the city and ends up at Van and Lilly’s house, where she meets their adorable dogs and cats. And when Michael also shows up there to rescue his bunny, Sonny, things get interesting and surprising.
I loved the story and to see again the characters from the previous books, especially the dogs and cats.
I highly recommend the reading.
I loved this book!
For so many reasons. The bickering between Hope and Michael, revisit Van and Lily again, not to forget their dogs and cats.
I had a huge smile on, reading this short story.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Bunnies and Politics. Who would have thought it would work. BUT it does. A very short, cute read.
This story was absolutely adorable! A sweet romance with puppies, bunnies and kitties, oh and a couple people both running for mayor in a small town. The shenanigans the critters get into are hilarious. A great feel good book.

This is a short story about Michael and Hope wanting the same job as mayor. As they fight for the job their attraction and bunnies make for a very entertaining read. This is one to read! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
A must read!
It may be really short, but it’s still delightful. The concept is Hope and Michael are vying for the job of mayor. Being they’ve known each other for years their story is short, sweet, and really funny!

Very cute and simple short story, Such a sweet little read and a good way to unwind after reading some much deeper books. I would recommend it to others that enjoy animals in there books.
This story was as sweet a soft furry bunny. I couldn’t put it down because it was so sweet!
The Pet Set Series:
Funny Bunnies #3 – I fell in love with this clean, simple series. The same neighborhood with visits from the previous cast of characters as we watch a new romance unfold and the lovers meld into the bunch. Plenty of humor dispersed with storylines that keep the reader involved with the story. All the characters are likable, lovable, entertaining, even the ones without fur. Although Hope got under my skin with her thoughts about the people and their animals when she found her Honey; if they were that terrible, Honey would have been supper. This is a nice neighborhood to get lost in for awhile; with all the different personalities, a reader doesn’t stand a chance to get bored. Clean and wholesome, and very quickly read. 4*
Goofy Newfies #1- Warning this book will hurt you! It’s been awhile since I belly laughed my way through a book. Every page had me rolling on the floor till my sides ached. The storylines are cute and interesting. I liked all the characters, some were actually cute and interesting and furry; the humans were likable and nice to have as neighbors. Everyone had their own personalities, whether two or four legged. This is a sweet, clean, wholesome read and it’s perfect for a kids’ bedtime story. I luckily got to chain read the second book. Not only was it great to read a good humor and love filled story, but it was well edited. 5*
Itty Bitty Kitties #2 – This book is almost as funny as Goofy Newfies. There still are plenty of belly laughs, but there’s a touch of gravity with a couple of issues. We’re still in the same neighborhood, just next door and with two new, scratch that, eight new main characters. Again there are the interesting storylines, interesting characters with a variety of personalities, and interesting happenings that are only to be expected. While this book would still work for a bedtime story, there are parts I would skip over depending on the ages of the kiddos. I contacted the author to review this book and received it through Booksprout. 5*
The Pet Set end.
This was a super short and very entertaining story. I found it very amusing and thought it was a great way to spend an hour. Super sweet. Hope and Michael bring out the best and worst in each other but they make the perfect team.
Cute story line, comical characters, good description to detail, and nice, flowing dialogue. Written as a 1st person, single POV with a HEA.

Sassy Beta Reading and Review

Funny Bunnies: A sweet Opposites Attract Romance Novelette, my fourteenth read from author Ann Omasta. After having read Aloha Baby & planning on reading the rest of the Escape Series books I found myself side-tracked by The Pet Set Duet: Goofy Newfies & Itty Bitty Kitties and now Funny Bunnies. Another, cozyish in nature, short entertaining and well-written read from her (as narrator the author does a wonderful job). I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I’ll have to get more books in this series. Now back to the rest of the Escape Series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
This was a fun book to read.
I love this series.
Ann Omasta is a super writer.
I hae yet to read one of her books that I don’t love.
