The #1 New York Times Bestseller! A hot and hilarious new romance in the Big Rock series of standalones from the author of smash hits MISTER O and BIG ROCK…I’ve been told I have quite a gift.Hey, I don’t just mean in my pants. I’ve got a big brain too, and a huge heart of gold. And I like to use all my gifts to the fullest, the package included. Life is smooth sailing….Until I find myself … sailing….
Until I find myself stuck between a rock and a sexy roommate, which makes for one very hard…place.
Because scoring an apartment in this city is harder than finding true love. So even if I have to shack up with my buddy’s smoking hot and incredibly amazing little sister, a man’s got to do what a man’s got to do.
I can resist Josie. I’m disciplined, I’m focused, and I keep my hands to myself, even in the mere five-hundred square feet we share. Until the one night she insists on sliding under the covers with me. It’ll help her sleep after what happened that day, she says.
Spoiler–neither one of us sleeps.
Did I mention she’s also one of my best friends? That she’s brilliant, beautiful and a total firecracker? Guess that makes her the full package too.
What’s a man stuck in a hard place to do?
FULL PACKAGE is a standalone friends-to-lovers rom-com!

Lauren’s books are FUNNY. They’re entertaining and fun and they aren’t always what you’d expect when you dive in. They’re more. They’re satisfying and it’s no wonder why everyone is devouring every single thing she puts out. Haven’t read a Lauren Blakely book yet? What are you waiting for? 🙂
Is it possible for friends to have their brownie and eat it too?
Lauren Blakely has mastered the recipe for delightful and delicious, it’s called Full Package. I can’t find words to tell you how much I enjoyed this friends to lovers romance with enough sweet to melt in your mouth and enough spice to melt your panties. I loved it so much that I checked the favorites box for this one.
FAVORITE!
Chase is a sexy ER doctor that his bestie, Josie, jokingly calls Dr. McHottie. He’s mastered the art of compartmentalization. He can push things to the back of his mind while he’s concentrating on an emergency, or even if it’s just something he doesn’t want to deal with. He’s confident in his ability to keep his lust contained in a drawer in his mind. He’s positive that he can share a residence with his bestie as a roommate and keep his hands and his thoughts to himself. Actually, he resorts to his his hands on himself quite often as his daily encounters with said roommate only fuel the fire of his fantasies.
Josie has been tempting Chase with her treats for years. He’s the best bestie ever, always willing to sample her latest recipes and tell her the truth. Do you really think that it’s possible that every new recipe is his favorite? Well, it seems that’s it is, other than that one that shall remain unmentioned. They’ve been sharing their thoughts, triumphs and failures with each other. Sympathizing and encouraging as needed. Always there for each other. It’s only logical when they both have housing problems that they solve that for each other too, right? Surely, they can handle being so close physically. They both treasure their close relationship and wouldn’t think about risking their friendship by stepping over the line.
Does it count if they trip over it instead? I doubt that I’m the only one that didn’t buy the lies they were telling each other and themselves when they cruised past friendship lane and into lover land. And I’m also sure that I’m not the only one that was convinced that making the return trip was guaranteed to fail. How can you un-see, un-taste, un-feel, and un-remember when you’ve experienced the full package? I know I won’t be forgetting it anytime soon. Nope, I’ll probably be trying out some of those sexy recipes that Josie shared with me and remembering the scenes that inspired them. I’m really looking forward to what’s coming next. The line forms here…
Lauren Blakely always packs the heat in her books, this one is no different. Who doesn’t love a hot doctor who is voiced by Sebastian York? Yup, I did the audio on this one and he is one of my favorite male voice actors. This is a story of two best friends who are scared to tell the other how they really feel. It is a quick, fun read that will keep you interested and make you laugh at times. I enjoyed this book.
Adorably funny story about best friends who are both in denial until circumstances force them to address and acknowledge their feelings. It’s funny, well written, sexy, sweet, and if you listen to the audiobook very well narrated.
Charming, loving, comedic and overall romantic. Such a fun read. All of Lauren Blakely books are amazingly enjoyable.
Chase and Josie have a friends-to-lovers/close proximity/brother’s best friend romance. When they decide to become roommates, Chase is convinced he can keep everything separate enough to prevent his attraction to his friend from becoming an issue. This leads to some funny observations as he very slowly realizes that he cannot keep everything compartmentalized. Josie is so sweet and I really loved her character. I love reading a hero that falls hard. I really appreciated Chase’s relationship with Wyatt and the lack of drama there. This story has plenty of heat, funny moments, and sweet moments that sucked me in. The story is written in first person from Chase’s POV. However, Josie’s recipes are included and they provide insight into her thoughts and feelings and they add value and emotional depth to the story.
I have read and loved every single one of Lauren’s books. I knew I would have some laughs, feel all kinds of hot and bothered, and shed some tears but wow…it really does amaze me how she could write so many books and never falters. Never. I adore her, her characters. And her beautiful and magical words. Ok…Full Package. It’s a standalone but of course in Lauren fashion, there are connections. Josie is Wyatt (Well Hung) and Nick’s (Mister O) sister. Chase is Wyatt’s buddy from Well Hung. BTW: if you haven’t read those books, you totally should. They rock. Anyway…back to Chase and Josie’s story.
Josie needs a roommate. Chase happens to be looking for an apartment. So why not live together? Just because Chase finds his best friend sinfully sexy, sweet as sugar, and loves Swedish fish, doesn’t mean he can’t live with her. In a six-hundred square foot apartment. He can resist her. He has been doing it for years. He is the master at it. That is until she needs help falling asleep after an emotional night. He is screwed. The line has been tip-toed on and he wants to walk over it but he doesn’t want to ruin what they have. He can’t lose her. He can’t imagine a life without her in it. But, if an agreement is formed between them. Roommates with benefits until it has to end, then back to be the best friends again. What could go wrong?
He’s got this. He isn’t falling for her. Nope. Not at all. Except it’s all a lie. He wants her and all of her delicious desserts. Except the ones with raisins. But, at this point, he would eat those too. Chase is afraid that if he tells Josie the truth that she would end this. He is also afraid that she doesn’t feel the same way about him. Yes, they have wild sex. Make love even. They even Netflix without the chill. They play scramble. They have everything to make for the perfect couple but it’s at risk if they fall apart. Chase is a smart as hell doctor but what he doesn’t see is that Josie wants it all too. The sex and friendship were always supposed to be in separate boxes but when they mix, it was explosive. The chemistry of it all is too real. They always knew there was going to be an end to it. Can they go back to being friends without the benefits? Can they be in the same room without wanting to rip each other’s clothes off? Can Chase go back to being Josie’s taste tester for her sweets without wanting her for dessert? Can they move on from the full package if they knew they still had the friendship?
I love Chase! He really is the full package but doesn’t know it. He isn’t overly cocky but he totally could be. He is smart, sweet, loving, loyal, funny, sexy as hell and a Doctor. He is also a giver. Then there is the icing on the cake: his innuendos. On point. Always. I loved Josie too! She is beautiful, smart, sexy, and makes me want to bake. Together…they are the ultimate package. They are so much fun, flirty, and beautiful.
Overall…I didn’t want it to end! I laughed. I mean really laughed. I cried more than once. And I definitely felt hot all over more than a few times. It had all the ingredients for a perfect friends to lovers romance.
P.S I need to go buy a boob friend! And more of Josie’s recipes.
Quotes:
“I want to grow up to be a stuffed crocodile.”
“What other glorious life-giving veins are you hiding? Let me see your arms.”
“Is this some kind of doctor porn?”
I nod, and my eyes are surely sparkling. “You have the cupcake tin and icing smoother. Hell, I saw the way you eyed that rolling pin, too. You had your fun. Let me have mine.”
“Josie, you could eat tuna fish and I’d still be turned on.”
She brings a hand to her chest and bats her eyes. “I think that’s the sexiest thing you’ve ever said to me.”
This book was fun a fun to read friends to lovers story. Chase is an ER doctor and is having problems finding a place to live and is tired of staying with his brother. Josie is a baker and is Chase’s best friend who just happens to have a spare room. Chase and Josie think nothing will happen while they share 600 sq. ft. of living space. Really?! Everyone, but them saw the outcome of this from a mile off. I loved the banter between these two and the fact that most of this story is from Chase’s point of view. Don’t skip over reading Josie’s recipes because you might miss some fun tidbits thrown in with the directions. You will have to read and see if these two best friends can survive being lovers and obtain their HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I listened to the audio book. There were a few humorous moments, comments, or lines that I attribute to Sebastian York’s delivery.
I was not feeling this book. Maybe I’m just tired of the best friends who know EVERYTHING about each other, except that they happen to be in love with one another.
I, at least, have to give credit for Chase not being a wealthy doctor. Chase and Josie seemed incredibly boring to me. The most interesting thing I found in the book was Josie’s baking and experimentation with foods. I wanted to feel a connection between them, or a connection to them. I felt mostly indifference.
I thought the narration was decent with the exception of a couple of times when we were in Josie’s inner thoughts, and I thought they were still Chase’s thoughts.
I have read this author before, and her work is not or miss with me. More hit than miss, but not with this book. I would give it 2.5 stars.
I have loved all her books in this series with the sexy alpha men, oooh hot and heavy!
One of my favorite authors! She did not disappoint with this one.
Another fun story from Lauren Blakely. I loved the chemistry between Josie and Chase!
You can’t go wrong with one of her books. I have never read one I didn’t enjoy!
Great storyline and characters. Steamy with laugh out loud moments.
This was a super fun book to read-sexy, witty and endearing.
This series of books is great! This is one of my favorite. I’ve read it several times. It’s flirty, steamy, and witty. Its a must read, as is the rest of the series.
Love this author and this is one of her best!
Loved this story about two best-friends-turned-roommates and how they both realize they’re in love with each other. Cute story from the guy’s point of view—though we do see her recipes (she’s a baker) so we know she’s just as interested in him. The sex scenes are hot and sparkle with intensity. It’s ALMOST a slow-burn—it’s nearly halfway through the book before there’s a sex scene—but the early chapters tease so skillfully that we’re ready for them to fall in bed with each other too. Nicely plotted and really hot!
I am absolutely loving this series! I am on an audio binge and played this one in an afternoon and enjoyed getting through life while listening. Chase is back in the city and cannot find an apartment and tired of bunking with his brother and when the opportunity comes to move in with Josie it seems too good to be true. She is his best friend, well the sister of his best friend, but she has always been the one he wants to spend time with. Josie has taken over her parents bakery and she always sends Chase a treat or has a special something for him and she has been looking for a roommate and those applying are crazy. Can these two keep it platonic or will lines be crossed and when they are will they be able to survive. Definitely a recommendation from me!
