If you even looked at her, you will get burned.
Yes, you got that right.
She is full of fire.
And touching fire is a bad idea.
Playing in the band was the fun part of my nights.
I could have any woman I wanted at any given show.
But I had no plans to be with someone.
Everything changed the day I spilled coffee on her.
Being around this ball-buster felt so good.
Looking into her eyes made my … around this ball-buster felt so good.
Looking into her eyes made my heart melt.
But she is too focused on her work.
She is determined and tough one.
She wouldn’t let anybody in.
Nothing else could ever get in her way.
And she made sure that everybody knows that.
She is a walking disaster.
So how can I even dare to get close?

Kellen is a barista manager by day and a lead singer with a band at night with his brother Jack and some friends. He almost misses his opening night at Ripple’s by a traffic accident that’s blocking the road. He checks out the chick who got her car totaled and liked what he saw. Marisol goes to school, works two jobs and was going to another job at Ripples as a waitress. Kellen and his band got a full time gig at Ripples and Marisol got to keep her job after she talks to the boss and tells him about the accident. Kellen and Marisol keep bumping into each other and Kellen is ready for a relationship but Marisol is so very busy that she doesn’t want a relationship. Finally Kellen brakes her down and they had the most incredible night. Will Marisol get her stuff together after meeting Ella and freaks cause she scared that Ella will die and she already loves the little girl and Marisol doesn’t want to get too attached to Ella in case something happens to Ella. Will Marisol ever get back together with Kellen? Will Kellen and Marisol ever have their HEA? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was a page turner that had me hooked from the first page. I couldn’t put it down. It was about Kellen, a man who was working 2 jobs, barrister and lead singer of a band. He was trying to help his brother out financially, so was working extra hard. Marisol was a fiery college student who was trying to make ends meet by working 3 jobs. It had a great storyline and the characters had great chemistry. I loved reading this book.

Kellan is a guitarist with his brother in the band pitchfork and working at the coffee shop below where he lives to help his brother pay for his nieces medical bills . When he meets marisol . This is a really cute story.
I enjoyed this story, it was filled with many emotions. The characters were strong. Marisol and Kellen’s journey wasn’t an easy one but they were good for each other.

He’s not your typical rockstar, he’s family and relationship oriented, he’s not living the sex, drugs and rock and roll life. He’s relatable and human and real and that makes for a great storyline. He scales the walls of the heroine and he shows her what a man in love can be like. I enjoyed this book.
Kellen is a bartender by day and singer by night. Marisol has been a server at various different establishments. She is the new server at the bar where Kellen works. When they first meet, they each have different reactions. Kellen is instantly smitten while Marisol doesn’t like him. The characters have chemistry. I like the banter between the characters.

Kellen is a part of the band but also works in a coffee shop. He is helping his brother pay for his daughter’s medical bills. He meets Marisol and they have great chemistry. good read an romance.
Kellen is a hard worker who lost his parents while in high school and he was then raised by his brother. He is very close to his brother, sister-in-law, and 6 year old niece who is undergoing treatment for leukemia. Kellen and his brother are part of a band that performs weekends at local bars and brings in a nice paycheck and he is very generous helping out his brother’s family. Marisol is 24 years old and has had a rough life. It is now just her and her sister and she works several jobs and is a college student and she has a tough, no nonsense exterior. Kellen and Marisol have several chance meetings that don’t go very well but Kellen is intrigued and wants to get to know Marisol. She is hired as a waitress at the bar that is his biggest band gig and they get to know one another even though neither has much spare time with their multiple jobs. Will Kellen be able to break down the guard Marisol has on her heart and will these 2 very busy people be able to finally connect?
I give the story 4.5 stars. I enjoyed the rather short story and loved all of the characters in the book. It was fun to read and I recommend this book.

Kellen works hard, he helps his brother Jack out in every way he can and he is the lead singer in a band (Pitchfork), so he has no trouble getting women. If that was what he wanted, but so far none have really inspired him, till the fiery temper of Marisol catches his eye. I loved this pair, who were very busy, but just seemed to click so well. Kellen has a big heart, and I couldn’t help but love him, and his cute little niece Ella (who’s a bit sick). Marisol is certainly up for standing up for herself and organizing things, (so I loved her too, because she is a strong woman).
