He’s the king on the court and will go full-court-press to get the girl. An enemies-to-lovers college sports romance. As a college basketball player, I don’t chase girls – they come to me. I’m the star athlete everyone wants a piece of, with skills on the court and in the sheets. I get what I want, when I want it. I’m unstoppable.Until I meet Ainsley Locker. She doesn’t play games but plays hard … Ainsley Locker.
She doesn’t play games but plays hard to get, seemingly resistant to my charm.
That’s okay because I like a good challenge.
And my plan is to go full-court-press to win her over and make her mine.
As long as I don’t foul out in the process.
** Note: This book was previous titled “Sweetness”. Same great story with a fresh new look.**

I gotta say, this book was everything and nothing like I expected. I could not put it down once I started it and did not want it to end when I got there. Stand-alone, romance with a HEA.
A captivating very well written read! An intense emotionally heartfelt story-line that grabs you right from the start keeping you engrossed and on edge throughout this beautifully written story!

Cade is an arrogant college basketball player who only thinks of himself and Ainsley is a dedicated, hard working nursing student who always puts others first. These two are total opposites in many ways but they are perfect for each other. This is a sweet, steamy romance and a great afternoon read. I look forward to reading more books in this series.
Good romance around university sport.
I liked this romance although the story is quite simple. These are the characters with their responsibilities and their doubts about maintaining a relationship that have kept my attention until the end. Cade is a basketball star that the groupies are still trying to catch, but his career is threatened by a sentence.
He meets in various contexts, Ainsley who struggles with two jobs, the end of his nursing degree, follow the studies of her little sister and also helps her mother who has a mental illness.
A relationship for Ainsley and Cade is not opportune, but each of them does not want to back down and has to face his doubts.

This series by Sierra Hill is a rebrand. Originally titled Sweetness. I find I like the title change as it goes well with the storyline.
Ainsley and Cade meet while she was at work. I enjoyed the tenacity that Cade’s character showed as he tries to win the heart of feisty and independent Ainsley.
I was surprised to have really enjoyed the series as it was never recommended to me. If you like NA, sports romance then this bo
I really liked this story, the college experience, the drama, the law-breaking and all the handsome basketball players there was very little to not like it.
Ainsley and Cade are two college students but their similarities stop at that, they can’t be more different the first is serious, works two jobs and takes care of her sister, the latter is a playful athlete. They met by chance more than once,Ainsley doesn’t like Cade at the first sight, he on the contrary tries to woo her straight away.
Will she find the time to enjoy her age??Wil he win her heart?? I recommend to read this sweet novel to find out.
This was the first time I’ve read Sierra Hill’s work and fortunately I’m ready to dive into the second book in this series right now.
I love a good college-age romance. Add in some real life crap sandwich experiences, normal young adult angst and a sports flavor and I’m all in!
Ainsley and Cade are a pretty standard opposites attract couple, and he’s working pretty hard in the beginning to be really unlikeable! But he’s a genuine nice guy, sweet, handsome and has a tendency to grow on a girl. Ainsley is dealing with a lot in her life, and their experience levels are a great counterbalance to one another. The twists and turns were pretty unexpected, and I felt like the way these characters interacted and dealt with things was realistic. A sweet, fast-paced read with some great young love romance!
Ainsley is awesome
. She’s working hard to improve her life, moving on from a bad past and working with senior citizens. She’s got no time for Cade, who’s nothing but trouble.
Cade makes spectacularly bad decisions. Like college career ending poor choices. In his car with a random girl.
He’s into Ainsley. Can he man up?

This first book in Sierra Hill’s The Sweetest Thing series is a lovely story about Cade, a college basketball star who got in a little trouble with the law when he met Ainsley,a girl that works hard for everything she has and is fighting to make sure her sister has everything she needs. A lovely story about a couple fighting against the odds to find each other.

Ainsley and Cade…love them both. I had to keep reminding myself that this was a young, college couple as Cade’s cheesey lines were killing me, in a funny good way. Ainsley is strong and devoted. Cade is swoon-worthy and a tall drink of water! I’m off to start the next book!
Kincaid Griffin was a player on and off the basketball court and had been given everything while Ainsley Locker had to fight her way out of the hell that was her life. When Caid finally has a woman tell him no, he is shocked to say the least and will do everything to win her over. While winning over Ainsley Caid finds himself changing into the man that he wants to be and not the man he was before her. When his past sins come back to haunt him and Ainsley is the one in the crossfire how can he convince her that he has changed? Great story and wow was I loving it all the way through. This is a new author for me to read but I have to say that I can’t wait to read the next book by her. Great story with pleanty of turns and romance along the way. Love how Ainsley didn’t just bow down to the basketball king Kincaid “Caid” Griffin.
Cleverly written to add humor to such a serious story. Highly recommend.
Love the book
