Author’s Note
It’s possible to only read the Calloway Sisters spin-off series without reading the Addicted series, but you MUST read Hothouse Flower (Calloway Sisters #2) before reading Fuel the Fire (Calloway Sisters #3).
It’s highly recommended to read the books in the recommended reading order, which is in tangent with the Addicted series. However, if you choose not to read Addicted After All before Fuel the Fire, there will be a time jump.

Connor and Rose are so fascinating to me. The way they compete and banter with each other is so fun. I would never want a relationship like that because it seems too stressful, but it works perfectly for them. And they are HOT! Connor is so sexy. Together they are scorching. Even with their quirks, Connor and Rose care so deeply. For each other. For Jane. For their family and friends. Even Connor and Ryke, who come across as enemies, are actually great friends. I love that they got some good moments together. And when it comes to Connor’s Christmas gifts for everyone? I’m not crying, YOU’RE crying.
I have to admit though that I could not stand the way Connor was treated. Not by the inner circle, but the parents and the press. Who cares about his past relationships? How is that anyones business and what difference could it possibly make? Ugh, the whole thing just made me so angry. So did having Scott show up again. I’ve never wanted to deck a fictional character so much! At least he got his comeuppance.
Connor and Rose the power couple! Great read more in depth characterization of Connor and it is just a great read.
I love Connor Cobalt!
Great series and love all of their books!!
FIVE STARS ISN’T ENOUGH TO RATE THIS BOOK. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE EVER READ/LISTENED TO.
I started the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series sometime in January and I’ve been making my way through the series. Connor has been one of my fave characters in the series, followed by Rose. This book just put them both at the top of my favorite characters ever. Krista and Becca Ritchie created these extremely unique characters that are just plain out fucked up but perfect. I have felt every emotion right along with them. I truly don’t believe there are enough words to describe the chemistry and passion between Connor and Rose. Their loyalty, their love, their passion, chemistry and their connection through words is just AMAZING. This book made me feel so many different emotions. I laughed, I burned and I freaking cried. I have two books left to complete the entire series. I really don’t want it to end.
Rose and Connor are my favourite characters and I love to know everything about them.
I want to thank Krista & Becca Ritchie for this new chapter of Coballoway’s life.
It took me more than usual to read this book, probably because it’s always been harder for me to relate to Rose and Connor than to any other couple in the series. And as much as I loved the beginning of their story in Kiss the Sky, this was amazing on an entirely different level. I always held more affection for the stories that were rounded up, stories with ‘closure’, and I feel that’s exactly what we got in this book with Rose and Connor.
Just like in their first book, this one has a lot of pain attached to it – and from the very beginning – much of it from the ruthless media. I don’t think I ever understood the way of media, publicity, paparazzi, or the life of a celebrities as much as I do now, thanks to Addicted /Calloway sisters, and later Like Us, series by Krista and Becca Ritchie. They give the vulnerability to those who seem invincible, indestructible – and maybe that was the thing I loved most of what I’d seen in this book – both Rose and Connor vulnerable, just human, and just a bit broken like the rest of us. But still, they are fighters. And as much as Lily and Loren had had to overcome in their relationship, so have this couple, in their own way. Walking through their own fears, trying to beat them into submission. They are so very strong! Through all that’s going on in this book – and there’s plenty of unexpected, heartbreaking, and also hilarious, we see how much both of these characters have grown since Kiss the Sky, how much they have embraced different parts of themselves, and how much they not only love, but need each other. To be each other’s strength, each other’s support.
These two are definitely the two characters I compare myself the least when it comes to the Addiceted/Calloway sisters world, and that is why I loved, loved, loved being in the minds of such brilliant characters. I feel like I finally ‘get’ them, and I can admit I loved them more in this book than in the first one. If you read Kiss the Sky, this is definitely the book you don’t want to miss. It’s most definitely a much needed conclusion to all that Rose and Connor have to say. Definitely a recommended read!
I am just a huge fan of the “Addicted” series and also the “Calloway Sisters”. I cant really pick a favorite character, but I have thought Connor was great since the very beginning. We all knew he was protective of his friends, his family. The way that these 6 people are there for each other no matter what is something that just makes you feel good. It gives you the idea that even when the story is over, anything that gets thrown at any one of them will turn out ok because they have each other. Its always hard to see such a great series end, and I know that it will have to soon, but it has been a great ride starting it all with 2 people who were basically self secluded and managed to pull all of these people into their lives. I look forward to anything else I can read about these great people.
