What reviewers are saying about Frozen Statues, Perdition Games…
“Psychological thrillers are supposed to be compelling but the really good ones, like Frozen Statues, Perdition Games by L.E. Fraser, will really throw the reader for a loop.”—Marta Cheng, Self-Publishing Review
”Frozen Statues, Perdition Games is a masterpiece, an absorbing story that defines its place in the area of crime and psychological thrillers.”—Romuald Dzemo, Readers’ Favorite
“Fraser fuels the plot with increasingly sadistic secrets. Careful details about the murders, like the staging of victims during foul weather to ruin forensic evidence, are impressively geeky.”—Kirkus Reviews (featured in Kirkus Reviews Magazine)

Creepy, unsettling, and gory. I didn’t really care for the main character and all of her issues and attitude. The book did jump around a lot and had a lot of characters to try to follow.
I gave this a 2 star rating because the story not only switches back and forth between characters, but also in time. Some of the chapters are labeled as “3 years ago” and would start in that time frame, but would quickly change back to present time, without implying that it was back to current time. That’s why I found it confusing. But I did keep reading until the end.
I really couldn’t recommend this book, but maybe it wouldn’t be confusing to others. I didn’t notice any misspellings or poor grammar, which is a definite plus.
Enjoyable and believable book. You always hear of control being maintained from prison but this one really makes you wonder which way it will twist next before it’s too late. Easy to get involved with the characters as you strive to try and understand why they do the things they do. Anything I write does not do this book justice. I found myself thinking about the book, during the in-between times when I couldn’t actually sit down and read it, and attempted to anticipate what would happen next.
I was hooked. I’ll be reading the other books from this author.
Good author, great read.
Creepy story.
Found book much too violent, and frankly, not that difficult to figure who the murderer was.
This book was very entertaining and held your interest. Did not want to put it down.
There are books that you don’t want to put down and then there are books you can’t put down! What a great story teller Fraser is. Story builds with each page and just when you think you have it figured out, think again. It was my first book by Fraser but it won’t be my last.
not cheerful.
Would have liked to have the back stories of the characters more connected.
This portrayal of the development of psychological sickness from abuse was
haunting.
Kept me reading
Sometimes I read a book, & its story remains on my mind for days or weeks – this is one of those!
I found the subject matter of this book difficult to process; but the plot and story line were very interesting and scary at the same time. It is well written but not for the faint of heart.
This is a story about a female serial killer. She kills young men, posing them in a strange way.
Interesting enough that I bought and read the first one in the series to get background. Although there is enough info in this fourth in a series that you don’t need the others.
Very easy to get into and keep you from putting it down. Surprise at the end.
Great thriller!
Entertaining story.
