A romantic comedy from a bestselling author where frosting will never be the same. I’m a hopeless romantic who thought the wedding dress draped over my shoulder was going to be the start of my future… What I didn’t expect was to meet Jayden in the park before witnessing my fiance with someone other than myself. As my life seems to be fitting in with the latest gossip magazine, I’m trying to … magazine, I’m trying to avoid the frosted feelings that are baking up in the oven for Jayden.
He’s not just new to town, he’s new to me and something I’m not sure I’m ready to taste.

Frosted Sweets by AM Willard is a fun standalone romantic comedy with a whole host of characters that kept me laughing and reading from cover to cover. I love the southern twist Willard’s characters had and how each one had their own unique personality. Frosted Sweets is a quick lighthearted read that is perfect for anyone who likes a romance filled with fun.
Story is easy enough to read. Heroine has good friend support and camaraderie. Of the three men Simon was a narcissist, Nick seemed a bit wet and Jayden….. well he was nice enough but I wasn’t sold on the love angle.
A sweet story. Great friendships. Sexy men. And sweets.
I quit a couple chapters in–wasn’t enjoying it.
This was the first book that I have read by A.M. Willard and I have to say I really enjoyed this book! I loved all the characters! The four girls are a great group, I cried and I laughed. It was a great book and I cannot wait to continue on in this series!
This group of girls are great, they are there for one another through thick and thin! This book was on Morgan, who owns her bakery and Zara helps her run it. Then there is Natasha who is a lawyer and Frankie who is a lawyer. They all are in different places in their lives, but they support one another and help each other through everything.
This book was based on Morgan, the baker. She was to marry Simon, who was the high-end part of society. Simon did not support Morgan in her bakery, he wanted her to sell the bakery as soon as they got married. Well long story short, she caught him cheating and broke it off! He was persistent and tried over and over to get back with her, but she was not having it! GO GIRL!
Morgan ran into Jayden, literally, ran into him at the park, while she was carrying her wedding dress for her and Simon’s wedding. Needless to say, eventually Jayden and Morgan got together, he was hooked on her goods….her bakery goods that is 😉
This book is not a cliffhanger, but it does talk about all four girls throughout the book. I cannot wait to get to the next book and continue on through the lives of the four girls!
Well let me just start off by saying being allergic to chocolate would be torture. Now I like that this story focuses on Morgan and her friends journey to become strong women. Morgan thought she had it all but it came crashing down. But Morgan picked her self up out of the ashes and continued on.The way Willard wrote this strong females made me enjoys this book more. This book is about strong women on to journey to become who they truly want to b. It is a great read.
This book is such a feel good romantic book. I absolutely loved every page. I can’t wait to read the next in the series.
3.5 Stars
This was an O.K. read though the blurb made the story seem much more interesting than the book itself was. Why?! Because the book didn’t seem to have a low or high point and was too wishy-washy for me. The story was all over the place. Megan couldn’t make up her mind and her soon-to-be or not-to-be husband did something bad but it never felt that way and everything was over really quickly without real emotions.
In the beginning we never get to know Simon though he and Megan would get married in a few days. Then she sees him with another woman and calls everything off. There’s no real fight, no real tears or breakdown. A few bits and pieces are scattered throughout the story since she can’t really make up her mind at what she wants. Jayden seems like an on and off guy for her but they hit it off pretty quickly even though they don’t know each other at all and never even dated. Jayden also can’t decide what he wants. What’s going on? People! Make up your minds! He’s as bad as Megan in deciding what to want.
I couldn’t really connect with the characters and Megan often annoyed me. She didn’t seem sad at what happened and it felt as if she didn’t care at all about what her ex did. I can’t remember how long she’s been with Simon but she wrote him off pretty quickly. Megan realized that he wasn’t her soulmate or kind of always knew that. Why did she want to marry him at all when she felt like this?
Some aspects of the story seemed to be thrown in to make it more interesting but not all of them really fit in IMHO. Megan suddenly had 3 guys rooting for her all at once and I think that Nick was just weird and too much.
All in all it was still a nice read with some fun parts though I wasn’t into it as much because there was a lot going on with all of the friends and it felt like Megan’s story was not the main story.
I think the book would have been better with the different POVs of the girls and their stories as well or more of Megan and less of her friends.
It was a pity that Jayden never really got his POV. We know more about him from the blurb than we get to know in the book. Or did I miss something out?
I think that this story had a lot of potential that it didn’t fully use. Which is sad. I believe I would have liked it more with the different POVs and all stories told because now it seemed like no real story. And in the end I felt like Megan and Jayden’s story deserved better. It just had no real ending.
this was a good story. I liked how the characters fell in love with each other by just meeting up in the same places. It is just funny how people perceive certain things when they only have half the story. How the heck did he think his boss, who is his rival was the husband? The Ex boyfriend was weird. Way out of left field stalker like weird. I really like the two friends the best. I want to read their story next.
This book was alright, a bit to drawn out but still readable.
Morgan catches her fiancé cheating and all of a sudden realizes she almost made a mistake in marrying him, something all her friends new long before.
Her inner thought diatribes had me wanting to skip pages. It takes so long to get to any good stuff.
If it’s free read it to pass time, but I wouldn’t spend money on it.
Some parts were just too silly. Others were funny. It wasn’t a bad read but I thought it was going to be better than it was.
Weak characters & plot. Only read about 1/3 of it before I gave up.
It could have ended in the middle and be perfect. After the middle it feels like drama was thrown in just to make the book longer.
Great series…
Sweet Story. Easy read for a relaxing afternoon.
Love love love
Predictable but sweet
This was a cute book, the characters had great chemistry between them.
Pieces of this book were good but I think there was a lot of fluff that could have been cut out. Was a little disappointed. The main character got quite annoying after a while.
smack this twit. her and her story are diabetes inducing. too dumb to deserve a fourth sentence.
