A romantic comedy from a bestselling author where frosting will never be the same. I’m a hopeless romantic who thought the wedding dress draped over my shoulder was going to be the start of my future… What I didn’t expect was to meet Jayden in the park before witnessing my fiance with someone other than myself. As my life seems to be fitting in with the latest gossip magazine, I’m trying to … magazine, I’m trying to avoid the frosted feelings that are baking up in the oven for Jayden.
He’s not just new to town, he’s new to me and something I’m not sure I’m ready to taste.

This book was a good easy read. I enjoyed the characters.
I have read some exceptional books that were able to fluidly tell the stories of multiple people at the same time.
This is not one of them.
I started off enjoying the story, but then events seemed to be looping or paralleling and I got detached from the whole story. Add in the intermissions in Morgan’s story to try and tell her friends’ stories and you have a MESS. Maybe I’m just tired or stressed but trying to keep up with this winding plot started giving me a headache. I gave up about 87% of the way in.
Fairly well written story and characters. I like how author blended the friends storylines, prep’d for future books. Would read remainder of series if they were offered on Unlimited.
