Combined for the first time in one volume are the first three books of the internationally bestselling FROSTBORN saga – FROSTBORN: THE GRAY KNIGHT, FROSTBORN: THE EIGHTFOLD KNIFE, FROSTBORN: THE UNDYING WIZARD, and the prequel novel FROSTBORN: THE FIRST QUEST.
RIDMARK ARBAN was once a Swordbearer, a knight of renown. Now he is a branded outcast, stripped of his sword, and despised as a traitor.
a traitor.
But he alone sees the danger to come, and undertakes the dangerous quest to stop the return of the Frostborn.

This is based on the entire Frostborn series, not just the boxset.
Step through the Mists of Avalon into another world and resume a time of Kings and Wizards, Knightly honor and powerful magic in this magnificently crafted Frostborn Saga.
Yes … the overall series is huge … but so is the character/species list and each book brings part of the story needed to complete the whole.
Perhaps some of these could have been combined as they are rather short, but I also have to give a nod to the amount of talent and time this series has taken and can’t begrudge Mr. Moeller a well deserved paycheck.
I found the series immensely satisfactory, and while the characters are picked up in an additional story line I must wait before continuing for alas, all that sword swinging and magic wielding takes a lot out of a reader!!
Without question … I highly recommend the Frostborn series!
I’ve read a bunch of fantasy series in the past, Tolkien, Goodkind, Jordan, etc. all of which were great in their own ways, and this series is right up there with the best of them. Not too adolescent, not too far fetched, not too complex, not to fast paced and thin. The pacing was great, the characters interesting, the plot mostly believeable, and while there are tons of grammatical errors (no misspelled words, mostly extra words or missing words that a spell checker won’t catch) I don’t feel that they took away from the story. Now I just gotta decide if I want to read the other dozen or so books in the series or not. I probably will.
Already reviewed it.
The series was to repetitive
I love this series. Except it ended too soon. I want the rest of the series.
I enjoyed the series, it flowed together nicely for me & was an easy read. It heald my attention & was interesting enough that I wanted to finish the series. I get bored easily and this heald my attention right up until “The End.”
i went and bought the whole series.. just can’t stop at one
Well written story. A good story with well developed characters. I will continue on with the other Frost Born novels.
Story had good “bones” and imaginative inventions, but the characters lacked depth, and dialogue was wooden. It was difficult to read, but I plodded through it…
I love continuing saga books and this is the first four books in one! Great story line and not a lot of repetition in the later books
If you enjoyed Game of Thrones, you’ll enjoy these books. Loaded with action, outcasts from 4 races fight to save their world from impending doom.
Great twist on fantasy
Interesting characters and situations. Too many repetitive fight scenes, like the second Lord of the rings movie. Many typos in the ebooks, averaging one per page. And yet I still purchased all 15 volumes in the series.
Started out OK – got boring
I would give it a 5 but, before publication, it had probably the world’s worst proofreader. I spent a lot of time rearranging or changing words to try to figure out what the author intended the characters to be saying or doing at that moment. Luckily, the story line was good enough to keep my interest. But, apparently these are the first four books of a ten or something series so, get settled for a long haul. I’m sure it’ll be worth it.
Very much enjoyed this set of books! Would recommend to any serious readers!
