not the most memorable of Michelle’s books, far from it, but a cute short addiction to this funny series. unfortunately i found the narration pretty flat and boring at times. if there was a different narrator reading this book it would have received better reviews for sure. i received a free copy of this audiobook and I am voluntarily leaving a review
I enjoy these little short stories so much. Michelle managed to make the same story line of aliens in search of brides and give them such fun twists and turns. Frost is all done and just wants to go home but being a blue hockey player caught more press and before he could disappear he’s found by the bad guys that had captured his brother to experiment on. A writer is caught in the cross hairs. Slapstick miscommunication keep you giggling and the adventure is just a fun story to listen to. The narrator does a great job. These aren’t long books so if you need a little escape you should give them a try!!
As i’ve said before i like this series, it’s easy and fast. I’m not a fan of the detailed sex scenes but the romances are very sweet. I’m ready for my own alien man. I find it sad that there are only 6 books in this series but i’ll live. There are other alien series by Michelle M. Pillow, so that’s a good thing. I recommend this series.
Recommended Alien Island
I remember reading this years ago after starting this Alien/human meeting Island series. Good for a laugh and l found it very entertaining.
We got introduced to Frost in a previous book and now he gets his own!! I love Frost and him and Meg were perfect for each other. Meg hears about a blue hockey player and her journalist side just can’t let it go. She needs to investigate this side. What she gets is a whole lot of sexy, blue, alien.
I can’t wait for more!!!
After reading about him in Ice I could not wait to read about Frost in his own book. He was secretly my favorite while I was reading Ice, This was an exciting read it reminded me of the first Qurilixen novels I read and I was amazed. Frost and Meg were perfect for each other, I cannot wait to see what comes next.
These guys are so funny & the antics they get into while trying to blend keep you chuckling. Frost can’t hide his blue skin which puts everyone else at risk. Meg is a reporter looking for her next big story & her curiosity almost gets them all captured. Of course then there’s Bob & Gary, the bumbling aliens from Galaxy Brides, in short it’s another crazy ride.
Frost is the next brother to find a bride, no thanks to the efforts of Galaxy Brides. Reporter Meg senses a great story when she hears of a blue hockey player in a rural league. She learns it’s more than just P.R. and her adventure with the Sintazian Frost begins as they are hunted by Milano’s goons. Lots of action, some very funny scenes and steamy passion make this a fabulous read. Highly recommended..
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
It was a great book!
Meg was only a journalist looking for a story.
She definitely found much more than what she was looking for.
Edur, aka Frost, came to Earth looking for a new beginning.
Earth is not what the “Galaxy Brides” advertised.
Now what is Frost to do ?
You will need to read the book to follow the “adventures” of Meg + Frost. LOL
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
I really loved this book even better than the first, Michelle’s books just get better and better. Frost is a big, strong, sexy blue alien who is looking for love and a soul mate. He came to earth with his brothers all looking for soul mates. Jan is beautiful, feisty reporter who is looking for a big story and finding Frost leads to so much more. This story had it all romance, danger, light humor and best if all a fantastic HEA. I can’t wait for the next book. I highly recommend this book to everyone loves paranormal or scyfy romances. You should definitely pick up a copy of this book and other books written by this author. You will be very very glad that you did. This author’s books ,in my opinion, are always a must buy. I have never read a book of hers that I did not love.
How can you improve on a hunky blue alien? Let him play hockey of course!
I absolutely adored this series and I thought Ice was funny – now the brothers have a little bit of knowledge about humans and Earth (not many) – but enough to be dangerous or down right hysterical! And I particularly love the bumbling idiots of Bob and Gary – they’re a danger unto themselves never mind every single being in the entire Galaxy.
I hope you take my advice and read this book – you won’t be disappointed.
As this was funnier than Ice, I can’t wait for Snow!
Edur or frost is from planet sintaz an ice planet. He made a deal with Bob from the Galaxy alien mail order brides for him and his brothers Izutz and tushar to come to earth and find brides.
Many things they were told were not true. Earth was not safe, it was not easy to pick up woman , and there was a group of humans out to get them.
They had been given something to turn their skin an earth color but it didn’t work on frost. The only good part of the trip was his one of his brother’s found a mate elle and they were hiding out at her family’s land in the voyagers national park.
Frost only outlet had been hockey but now with a news paper article out its drawing yo much attention.
Meg Taylor is human and wants to write a human interest story on the blue guy in the hockey team. When they meet it’s a quick connection
Lots of action, drama, mystery, craziness, Danger, and more. I love the characters . The story was great I couldn’t put it down. It’s one of those storyline you just get lost in and can’t get enough of. Science fiction romance fans are going to love it
Voluntarily review a copy and I honestly loved it .
This book was so humorous. Loved the tongue-in-cheek references to Earth media. And the whole “walking vibrator” thing made me laugh. Meg’s fierce self-defense was a real surprise. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. I freely leave this honest review.
Frost wanted a lot of things, to escape his barren ice-covered planet, find a wife, and take his brothers with him. One didn’t want to go. The other would do whatever the oldest did. Pre-paying for the “vacation” did the trick and they headed for earth and compatible females. Not blue but compatible. Too bad for Frost the cure for their skin color blending in didn’t work on him. He found a way to fit in–kinda.
Meg chose to give up her reporter job in the big city to help her very ill father. Stories around here were hard to find. When she heard rumors of strange things she had to investigate. What she found sticking up out of the snow was the beginning of a dangerous adventure? Maybe she needed to check her thesaurus.
A blue man, a normal woman hanging out with one who said he was the blue man’s brother and ran around naked. That was just the beginning. AND SHE WAS ATTRACTED TO THE ONE SHE FOUND IN THE SNOW! Their story was almost believable. What else could it be? She was almost convinced when the danger hit.
Will they live long enough to figure out what they are feeling? Long enough for Meg to determine if she could be with the man so different and if so how would he or she assimilate into the other’s society?
There are hilarious translation issues. Personality quirks that are funny as well–as long as you aren’t the one involved. The author has given us another fun read to ease the reality of life. Loved it. Can’t wait for the next one.
Frost has always wanted a woman. He started this crazy scheme when Galaxy Brides came to him with the hologram. Now he’s on Earth, ready to leave without his brothers and without a woman. Unfortunately, he will always be blue and trying to fit in has caused him to be noticed… Both by woman and possibly the enemy. Meg is a journalist and when she’s hears about the blue man she is instantly intrigued. Little does she know she could be Frosts greatest dream and worst nightmare all rolled up in one delicious package. Michelle does a great job bringing them together. I absolutely love the misunderstanding that brings them together. Full of intrigue and comedy, I could not put it down.
