The series that readers are calling, ”touching, funny, sweet and gut-wrenching all mixed together.” By USA Today Bestselling Author, Elena Aitken! Two men. Two very different futures. The problem? She’s falling for both of them. After spending the summer with her family, Chelsea McCormick is ready to move on and is looking forward to the future. Whatever it holds. But when two very different men … future. Whatever it holds. But when two very different men begin to vie for her attention, everything starts to change, and Chelsea’s future once again starts to look very uncertain.
Scott Harding has always loved the small-town life. Settling down in a place with a sense of community, like Cedar Springs, falling in love and starting a family is Scott’s idea of perfection. And Chelsea is just the woman who makes everything he’s ever wanted finally seem possible.
Driven and ambitious, Lucas Lee sees his time in town as a temporary launching pad to catapult him into a more prestigious position. He’s never been interested in a serious relationship, but Chelsea just might be special enough to change his mind forever.
Scott and Lucas represent two very different futures. The problem is, Chelsea’s drawn to both of them for wildly different reasons. Love, adoration and a future? Or excitement, passion and the unknown? One man appeals to who she wants to be, and one to who she realizes she’s always been. How can she possibly choose?

Each story in this family saga was different. What a treat! To read about the characters with a different story line. No predictable theme. Loved the characters as they were as real as could be. A good read…..all the books in this series.
Sweet read. This is a nice easy read, would be a great vacation book. One of those margaritas on the beach reads, under a nice large umbrella. There is a small amount of intrigue, a large amount of romance and a HEA ending. Well worth the time spent.
I have loved every single visit with The McCormicks and Chelsea’s story is no different.
I’m not usually a fan of love triangles but given where Chelsea is in her life, both of these men helped her learn more about herself, her goals, and what her next steps are going to be.
I thought it was hilarious that the rest of The McCormicks were choosing a team because this is exactly what I did when she started dating both of these men. I won’t say which team I chose but I was beyond happy that my team was the winner!!
I have loved this series so much and I hope that we get to visit them again in the future. I would love to see the guy who didn’t get the girl this time see his HEA.
From This Moment is the fifth book in the The McCormicks series. When Chelsea goes to Cedar Springs, she doesn’t intend for it to be long term, just somewhere to slow down and find what she wants from life. But while there, she meets two men who are almost opposite that are both interested in her. One is settled and enjoys small-town living and the other is driven and is just there as a stop off to something bigger. What is the direction she wants her life to go? How will she choose? This was a very interesting story that kept me hooked from the start. I definitely recommend it.
Chelsea McCormick finds herself in a major dilemma in the book From This Moment by Elena Aitken as she tries to figure out which of the two guys she is dating she prefers along with what she wants to do with her life and future. Her stay in Cedar Springs was supposed to be temporary as she sorted out the chaos of her life. When two very different men compete for her attention, Chelsea finds her beliefs challenged in ways she never thought possible. Scott Harding, the owner of the town’s newest café, loves living in a small town where he can settle down, fall in love, and start a family. Scott believes Chelsea is the woman who makes everything he wants possible. Lucas Lee, the contract manager building a multifamily development in Cedar Springs, is driven and ambitious. He sees this project as a stepping stone to more prestigious projects and exotic locations. Lucas has never before been interested in a serious relationship that is until he meets Chelsea. Chelsea believes these two men who want hr represent two very different paths; one toward her past and who she’s always been, the other her future and who she wants to be. How is she ever going to choose?
I loved reading this story and enjoyed the way Ms. Aitken solved Chelsea’s dilemma. Ms. Aitken is an excellent storyteller, keeping me interested in this book so much that I had trouble putting it down. Her words and stories make me want to live in Cedar Springs and be friends with her wonderful characters. This is the fifth book in The McCormicks series, but each book is a standalone story. I am looking forward to the next book in this series and highly recommend thisI highly recommend this outstanding book to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Chelsea came to Cedar Springs for one thing – to get to know her older stepbrothers. When she & her sister found out their father had another family, they were able to become friends with the younger brothers who were close to their age. The older ones held themselves aloof. The visit was only supposed temporary while she decided what she was doing next. Instead, she finds herself drawn to two different men. Does she go with steady, dependable Scott with his local sandwich shop or exciting world traveler Lucas & his job in his family’s construction company? Everyone thinks they know which one is best for her but which one does she chose? Scott & Lucas end up going head to head regarding vandalism on the construction site & regarding Chelsea.
I enjoy visiting Cedar Springs & revisiting the friends from other books. Each book can be read as a stand alone but the author does a great job keeping characters, settings & feelings consistent from one book to the next. The characters are well developed & realistic. The plot had some unexpected twists that kept the interest high. Due to something in her past, I was surprised by some of Chelsea’s actions & felt that could have been dwelled into more. That’s the only reason I have for not giving the book 5 stars. However, that is my personal opinion & takes nothing away from the way the author dealt with it. Another good read by Ms. Aitken.
I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
This book was a tale of two loves – but I was blown away that Chelsea actually chose the guy I least expected. The other guy ended up looking like a great big putz, but he tried to redeem himself. I’ve read several books by this author and all of the previous books in this series, but I was truly surprised at how this one turned out.
