Debra Clapton’s stories are entertaining and encouraging. She is skilled enough as a writer to write natural sounding conversations from real life like characters.
Cali Sinclair carries pain from her divorce and Grant Ellington, artist suffers from survivor guilt from a plane crash where two of his friends were killed and he walked away from with hardly a scratch. The run into each other and From This moment On their romance developed slowly as he painted the murals at the family owned hotel that Cali runs with her sisters.
The emotional aspect of the romance when the two main characters face their mental anguish over past hurts is the most appealing part of the story for me. I also enjoyed the two sisters and how they pushed Cali to accept Grant’s attention.
The saving of sea turtles at the rescue hospital and the facts shared in the story also added a reality to the story and I learned a bit about rescuing sea turtles and the problems they face in the environment, which was another plus to From This Moment On.
Really enjoyed this book! The three sisters were believable characters and situations.
Cali runs a family resort with her sisters. She hires Grant to paint murals of sea life. They both have a past to overcome. Beautiful descriptions of beach life and a wonderful side story of rescuing sea turtles are a bonus. A very easy to read story.
I love Debra Cloptons books. They always give me inspiration.

I liked the artistic aspect of this story. Having been to a resort on an island in Florida I could see the murals taking shape. The characters were likable and interesting. Nice quick easy to read story with a happy ending.
