Comments from readers of the Sandy Cove Series:
Rosemary’s writing strongly reminds me of Karen Kingsbury…rich details, how well the characters are written, the complex story lines…
Poignant. Timely. Touching.
Excellent read…Rosemary Hines has the exceptional talent to bring her characters to life and etch them into your heart and mind!
Loved all the characters and was reminded of Karen Kingsbury. I felt this series surpassed Kingsbury’s!
Captivated from page one…I couldn’t put it down.
Rosemary Hines has moved into a place that ties Karen Kingsbury! Her characters and their life challenges are real.
Captured me from the first page. I felt a part of the story. I laughed, I cried.
Rosemary Hines never fails to craft a story that both glorifies God and edifies the reader.
How can an author fit so much heartfelt emotion and spiritual/godly wisdom into one story so well?
From the beginning, Rosemary Hines had me totally hooked. Finally a book with an uplifting story.
Absolutely LOVE this series!!!!
Rosemary Hines knows how to tell a story and pull at my heart strings…you can’t put down her books.

This book goes over the process of a new widow finding a new purpose in life. I am at a place in my life where widowhood could be around the corner and hoped to gain some insight as to what to expect. I didn’t gain much of that, feeling that the story told was not very realistic. It was an okay read.
The plot was pretty predictable, and the writing was competent but not compelling.
All of us face change in our lives on various levels. The characters are real and share their own ways of dealing with change. Good Christian read.
Hope for those dealing with grief.
It was a feel good book.
Other reviewers call this a “sweet little book” and that’s the perfect description. Along with many others, I read this as an appreciative Christian believer. The expressions in this series are kind and inoffensive, but secular people would definitely find the faith element over the top.
My two gentle critiques would be these:
First, there’s …
Loved it!
Comforting to me as I identified with the main character in the loss of her husband. She expressed many of the same feelings I have.
I was literly brought to tears while reading this book, as it made me aware how fragile life is. Great writer!
Enjoyable.
excellent read. enjoyed every word.
Nice book about a nice family, but boring. No action, drama, suspense and a miniscule amount of romance.
It was great to read!!
Very well written. Draws the reader in, makes you really care about the outcomes in each characters storyline.
Read this book in 2 sittings. Loss of a loved one is so difficult but having faith that we will see them again when we get to Heaven, gives hope in grief.
