New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Carrie Ann Ryan continues her sexy new contemporary stand-alone series with an enemies-to-lovers office romance.Paris Trissel is in a dating rut. Despite the pact she made with her friends to find someone to share her life with, she’s throwing in the towel after only a few blind dates. Add in the fact that the new hire at the job she used to love … to love happens to be the Brady brother she can’t stand, and Paris is having a terrible year.
Prior Brady’s life seems pretty perfect from the outside. He has a wonderful, caring girlfriend, a family he’s never been closer to, and a new job he can’t wait to sink his teeth and talents into. Too bad the woman he has to work with for hours a day hates him on sight.
Once the two are forced to find the balance between chemistry and temptation, however, they’ll realize they’re stronger together than apart. Except when Paris’s past comes back with a vengeance, bringing terror, pain, and horror with it, both she and Prior will have to lean on each other.
In more ways than one.

This is the second book in this addictive series and its Paris and Prior’s story I was addicted from the first page waiting to see how this would play out. The connection between them was off the charts hot even though they couldn’t stand each other at first. After all there is a fine line between love and hate. Once Prior broke down the walls Paris had put up things really hotted up.
I honestly loved all the people that surrounded them, their family and friends gave them a superb support network and it was great seeing some familiar faces make an appearance.
As always Carrie Ann Ryan delivered a great read that will hold your attention throughout.
I don’t know about you, but I just love an enemies-to-lovers romance like From That Moment! Especially one that’s kinda sorta not really between enemies, more like Paris just doesn’t trust men period. As a woman working in a male dominated field, she’s known as someone who’s demanding and detail oriented. A real hard ass. But in her job as a software development, that’s her job—no, really it is!
And it’s a job function Prior definitely appreciates in his developer job—he needs Paris to test his software and help work out any possible bugs or problems. But Paris’s skillset isn’t the only thing Brady appreciates, he also really likes her as a person.
I really liked Paris and Prior. Their relationship was initially built on friendship—and quickly moved into attraction. And I loved watching Paris’s walls come down and allowing Brady to see the real her. I also love the dynamic between all the Brady brothers—they’re typical brotherly banter is fun and on point. Love the friendship between Paris and the girls too—Hazel, Dakota, and Myra are more like sisters than friends, and I can’t wait to see what happens next between Dakota and Macon in Far From Destined.

From that Moment is a highly emotional and beautiful enemies to friends to lovers story.
Four friends made a pact to help one another find happiness. Each of them has past events that emotionally affect them every day. With one living her happiness, Paris and Prior are in the spotlight.
Paris and Prior are very different in many ways yet have a few commonalities which bring them into the same social circle. Not only do they see each other in social situations, Prior will now be working with Paris for the next few months. Working together puts them in almost adversarial positions. Yet working together has created a friendship neither one saw coming. Their friendship comes naturally and before they knew it their attraction became hard to fight. Prior is a gentleman in every sense of the word and his gentleness and caring for Paris shows just the kind of man that he is. Paris opened up her past to Prior and she what she got in return was truly priceless.
Pryor and Paris were a very fun couple to watch develop. Going from adversaries to friends to lovers was a natural journey for them. It may not have been a blind date but they did find their happiness in the end.
I have become so addicted to these spin off series. I knew from Cross & Hazel’s story that this series was going to be amazing, and so far, I’m not wrong!!!
I really love a good enemies to lovers story. I love how there was this instant distaste and tension between Paris and Prior, much to Priors chagrin. This start to their tale was so awesome. It made for the perfect opening to a complicated relationship between the two of them. Add in their explosive chemistry and the slow burn we are tortured with, it was pretty epic. And of course it can’t be easy. Carrie Ann put in some awesome villainesque characters to put a damper on things a few times. We also get some really hysterical blind dates and crazy ex’s.
Other than the chemistry, I LOVED seeing the family and friends together! The Brady men are so close and the ladies even closer. Seeing this group together was super heart warming. Also, I LOVED the little bits of tension between those not paired, it is giving us THE BEST taste for the future!
My only complaint about this whole store, was the extreme drama. All of Carrie Ann’s books have this, but this one was way more on the obvious side. I like an extra level of suspense, but this one was almost an eye roll moment for me. BUT, that did NOT ruin this book in any way. I still give it 4 stars because I was absolutely addicted beginning to end!
This is like an enemies to lovers, or, at least, like growly unfriends to friends to lovers lol. Paris seemed to have a grudge against Prior from the get go, and when they started working together, it did not start out on a high note. But as they get to know each other other, feelings start to change. And when danger enter Paris’ world, Prior is right there for her. I loved how their relationship evolved . And my heart broke for all that Paris had gone through in her past. And present. But I loved her strength, and his loyalty. And their chemistry. I can’t say more, you’ll have to read to find out!
From that Moment is the story of Paris and Prior. We first met both characters in Hazel and Cross’s book. We know that Paris is up next in the pact and that her and Prior have a tense relationship. This book starts out with the two of them working together and we watch how their friendship starts to develop. Paris has a very rough past which you learn about. Paris and Prior begin to develop more of a romantic relationship and I think the author set the right pace on its development. Paris and Prior do run into some hurdles and the last part is a big hurdle but they get their happy ending. I especially liked in this book how both characters didn’t walk away for space but overcame all the obstacles together. I’m looking forward to the next book!

Funny, sarcastic, heartbreaking and intense…this is what you will find when reading about Paris and Prior! It is time for Paris to go on blind dates as the pact between 4 friends continues. What happens is a series of embarrassing, but also funny, first (and last) blind dates. Paris has a past that is heartbreaking and dark, but she is a woman to look up to. She has a career she is phenomenal at, but working in a male dominated environment causes her to need to be tough and sometimes brash. When Prior is in a position where he must work with her for a few months, he realizes that this woman he already was familiar with, has many more layers than he even suspected. Danger lurks in many capacities throughout the story and Paris and Prior continue to get to know one another, gain respect for each other and become friends. Eventually that line gets blurred, and crossed, and when it does sparks fly! I loved the second book in this fantastic series, and I adore Paris and Prior!

Of course when I seen this one I could not pass it up since this author has magic with her words. It at times can be entertaining to see those enemies combust when that chemistry starts working. That pact she makes sure can be discouraging but it is entertaining to see where she goes from there. Oh and usually the ones we hate can be the ones we end up loving Right? Prior thinks he has a good life but he will soon find out a different tune that I like seeing much better after the two realize a thing or two. So thrilling though to see what can happen if the two apart how they are together what happens. It also has a bonus that brings into this one danger and many other elements. How this is finished up is the topping on the cake.
From That Moment is the second installment of the Promise Me series does not disappoint. The Promise Me series is tangentially related to the Montgomery Ink series. These books are about 4 single friends who decide to set each other up on blind dates….what could go wrong! As we read, we see that each of the women have difficult pasts which makes us root harder for them to get their HEA!
In From That Moment we get to be involved in the HEA of Paris and Prior. Paris is prickly as she finds that she and Prior will be working together for the near future. Paris is a female in a predominantly male job market and has felt the sting of sexism before and worries that her friendship with Prior will be misconstrued. The women of the series are trying to set Paris up on a blind date, as is their pact. Prior keeps turning up as the blind dates Paris is on go south. The story continues to weave the two together as their feelings continue to grow.
This is another great story by Carrie Ann Ryan. She is fabulous at building relatable characters and weaving stories.
I loved Paris & Prior’s story. They were perfectly paired. At the beginning, they both have things going on in their lives that has them denying the attraction they have for each other. You have to read the story to find out what that is. Then, you will discover certain events opens the door from them to move from friends to lovers. True to Carrie Ann Ryan’s writing, there a couple of twists thrown their way along with several unsavory characters. Once they weed through all of these things, with the support and guidance of family and friends, they make their way to their HEA, another staple in Carrie Ann’s stories. Really loving this series. Can’t wait to see what she gives us in the third story!!!!
Paris and Prior are a couple that I thought wouldn’t ever come to be , I mean she hated him and he didn’t know why, then they work together and become friends then even more, Carrie Ann Ryan knows how to make us fall for the couples in her books and you can’t help but root for every one of them
From That Moment (Promise Me Book 2) follows Prior Brady and Paris Trissel. They met through Prior’s brother Cross dating and falling in love with Hazel who is one of Paris’s best friends. Through a pact that the ladies made to find each other blind dates in order to find their HEA, Prior happens to run into Paris after some of her dates didn’t exactly go as planned. Finding out that they were going to work together for the next 6 months wasn’t thrilling news for Paris but she discovers that she quite enjoys poking holes in Prior’s work and he’s actually okay with it unlike some others she works with. Paris’s past comes back to haunt her and with Prior’s help she puts it to rest. Can’t wait for the next book Far From Destined to see where it takes us.
From That Moment is the amazing 2nd book in the Promise Me series by Carrie Ann Ryan. These stories stand perfectly fine on their own but since the author likes to toss in a few teasers about what is to come, I was on pins and needles waiting for the next release. This story certainly did not disappoint.
This was an enjoyable enemies-to-lovers story that was filled to the brim with drama, suspense, steam, romance, and laugh out loud moments. Just when you think the blind dates can’t get any worse! Paris and Prior had an amazing connection and I cannot wait to read the next installment.
From That Moment is the second book in the Promise Me series by Carrie Ann Ryan. I always enjoy reading books written by Mrs. Ryan as she never disappoints. Paris and Prior are somewhat enemies, but they end up getting over that fairly quickly. You could read this as a stand alone but this series is so good, you might as well start at the beginning.
I enjoyed Paris and Prior. They were exactly what each other needed. I can’t wait to see what happens next! I received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was a really great story about two people who are fighting their attraction to each other. Prior is ready to settle down and the girl that he has chosen is not really the one that he wants. He is beginning to realize that Paris is exactly what he needs. Paris had a very traumatic past that is now rearing its ugly head in the new life that she created for herself. As they begin to discover each other, she needs to let Prior know what is happening with her life. These two were so great together and watching them go from adversaries to a couple was fun, sweet and everything I could have expected. Seeing the Bailey’s and the Paris’ girlfriends interact was a great addition to this amazing story.
This is the second book in the Promise Me Series, a series of interconnected standalone stories, with characters intertwined. This Series is part of The Montgomery World. This is a great, suspenseful, and emotional enemies-to-lovers. Paris and Prior’s story is beautifully written, filled with secrets, intrigue, and suspense. Prior is handsome, honest, protective, and caring. Paris is strong, and independent. She is a survivor. Her story is heartbreaking. Their slow burn and complicated story is beautiful. The supporting characters are great, and they have an important part in this story. The storyline is captivating. Impossible to put it down ! I love this series and I highly recommend it. Looking forward to read the next book in the Series, Far From Destined.
I am addicted to Carrie Ann Ryan’s books! I loved Paris and Prior in this one. The fact that they work together, have friends in common and are figuring out what their relationship is, kept me glued to this one. I loved seeing how their relationship developed and how they were unsure themselves what they were to each other really made them work. Her friend and his brother brought these 2 groups of people together when normally they would not have likely met or connected. Great read!
Paris is in a dating rut. Sheis next for the dating pact and things aren’t going well for her. She is ready to give up.
Her job is challenging as she helps find mistakes in other peoples work and is not liked. She has one guy at work who makes her life a living hell. Prior is sent to help out for six months and things are tense for them as she seems to hate him.
Prior has a girlfriend and is trying to make things work but she seems to hate getting together with his family.
One day Prior and Paris are leaving work and Paris is attacked. Prior heard her scream so he came rushing back to help. He saved her life that day and since then she has felt like she needed to repay him. Her past comes back to haunt her and it just happens that Prior comes to her rescue but now she needs to save him.
These two have such chemisty that I loved every minute of this story.
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC for From That Moment so I could read it before getting published.
I just finished reading it and I got to say, I would love to have a relationship like this. The relationship, like the story, is sweet, funny with some sass mixed into it as well. This story fits the weather well, it’s perfect for sunny days where you just want to relax and read something. Like in Forever Only Once there is also some action/suspense in the story which appeals to me as well.
Other than that, I don’t have too much to say about it… Maybe it’s the weather (we are in a heatwave right now!) but the story was good and entertaining, I really like this couple but there is nothing special I want to elaborate on. Maybe it is just that I am currently not really into this genre anymore, I have phases like that, or maybe this is just the way it is. It was fun to read but I’m not super enthusiastic, but I would definitely tell people to read this if you’re looking for some light reading.
This is a very good read. Steamy, emotional and at times heartbreaking. Paris has to deal with her last in many ways. Her traumatic childhood is hard to this about. A very well written story. I received an advanced copy of this book and freely leave this honest review.
