What an action-packed ending to this series. There are twists and turns, suspense, mystery, magic, and an epic battle. This had me on the edge of my seat, white-knuckling my Kindle because I could not put it down.
Holy wow. Where do I start? I suppose I should say that I haven’t read any of the other Elements of Five books, yet I was immediately invested in these characters. If you have read the others then hold on tight. Side note: I do plan to go back and read the ones that came before but I was able to jump in to this book with very little questions. Lyric is just amazing. I loved her from the first page and was rooting for her to when the battle against the Gray. The dynamic between her, Easton and Rhodes was perfect. It is a wild ride with a lot of heartbreaking moments but in the end I was very happy with the ending….. I want more however. Hopefully someday.
This is the fourth book in the series and sees the conclusion to the story. Lyric, Easton and their friends have been on an epic adventure and have uncovered lots of lies and mysteries along the way. This book sees them finally conquer the evil that has plagued the Maison realm and reunite the elements. There is love and loss and an epic battle. A great end to the series.
From Shadow and Silence is the mind-blowing conclusion to the Elements of Five epic fantasy. Lyric goes through hell to save her adopted realm. Secrets are revealed, alliances are made, traitors discovered and the ugliness of war yet love exists and makes it all worthwhile.
This book had me ugly crying at several points but it made the ending so much better. I’m exhausted. A fantastic read.
This was an amazing conclusion to the Elements of Five Series. We have been on this journey with Lyric and felt all her up, downs victories and losses. She has gathered friends and warriors around her, and has made these allies and supporters her family. As she rallies her family for the ultimate battle of good versus evil you can’t help but cheer for their success. This was more than I expected and it had so many highs and lows, all the feels. Great conclusion!!! Well done!
What an amazing final book in this series!
We pick up after the bit battle at the end of From Spirit and Binding and we’re off to running.
Wonderful wrap up the series! Now that Lyric has her fifth element, how she learns to use them all and defeat the Gray (we learn what he is too) is quite the ride!

An awesome conclusion to an amazing series. Carrie Ann continues to amaze me no matter what genre she writes. I highly recommend this series as well as her other works!!
“From Shadow and Silence” is book four and the conclusion in Carrie Ann Ryan’s “The Elements of Five” series. This continues on from book three ‘ From Spirit and Binding’.
The highly anticipated conclusion that we have all been waiting for is finally here. We’ve been on wild journey from the beginning of the series and now it’s come full circle with this book. Lyric has been put through the ringer, with each and every obstacle that she has come across she has overcome it with flare.
Lyric, Easton and their friends come together for one more wild, action packed, emotional roller coaster of a ride.
Well done Ms Ryan for once again giving us an exceptionally addictive and highly obsessive series. Loved each and every word!
I actually loved this series. I was totally rooting for Rhodes as he’s the man. I finally stopped mentally fighting myself and just let Lyric have her soulmate Easton. This journey to bring the kingdoms together was at every turn another encounter (not always the best kind) or hill to climb over. They fought with their lives for this and what a battle it was…..There also were some entertaining moments. I don’t want to give that away.
From day one Lyric has been told her destiny isn’t her own. Since then she’s always resented it, until now when everything has come to light. She realizes her life for the lives of many and especially those she loves isn’t a sacrifice but a gift. The ultimate gift for the ultimate sacrifice, now she has to convince them to let her make it.
I have been really anticipating the conclusion to this epic tale and it did not disappoint. The engaging storyline is filled with excitement, drama, adventure, tension, intrigue, emotion, action, romance and surprising twists. Take that and combine with likable, complex characters and skillful world building, and you know you are going to be pulled in, captivated and consumed. I know I was. This series was just plain awesome! This is my frank, freely posted review.
This is book #4 in the Elements of Five Series and what an amazing ride this series was. There are so many twists and turns you won’t see coming. It’s an action packed and mind blowing series, in a good way of course. I was hooked on Lyric, Easton, Rhodes and the gang from the first page of book #1. This story is fast paced and addictive. What a fabulous conclusion. I can’t wait to see what comes in the future for certain other characters. ( I can hope right?) I definitely recommend this 5+ star read.
War and sacrifice and finally joy…
I love when I can picture in my mind the scenery and people and action of a storyline, and this series absolutely comes to life on the page. Written through Lyric and Easton’s POVs the “feels” grab you and break your heart but you still have hope. The baddie is evil incarnate, strange creatures are coming from other realms to thwart our intrepid group of soldiers but even as they mourn many lost friends they uplift each other to carry on the fight. And what a battle it is, yet it is so worth it for the happy ending that brings a smile and a sigh.
A grand conclusion for Elements of Five, journeying to different realms, learning it takes all of the good people (even with differing opinions) working together to defeat evil, to bring peace to all from all realms, finding your soul mate and working together to find solutions, learning to trust not only yourself but those around you. Hop on this magical carpet ride and enjoy all of the twists, turns, and revelations of the final journey of Lyric, Easton and their friends and family. Loved it!!
When I started this series, I wasn’t sure I liked it but it drew me in!
Each book was action packed with twist & turns, Lyric must get back to Easton if only she can escape from the Gray. She is the only one that can bring the end of evil & get the Kingdom back to whole.
This book will keep you on the edge right till the end & they find out who are friends or foes!
