Can a big city girl survive the holidays in her boyfriend’s small hometown? When Emily met Josh while living the high life in New York, she was jolted by his small town disposition and easy-going nature in contrast to the ferocious world that they lived and worked in. When her mother decides to travel abroad for the holidays with a new boyfriend, Josh invites Emily to return home with him to his … home with him to his small hometown of Magnolia Harbor, where love, compassion, and a good joke will always be worth more than making money or wielding power.
His childhood bedroom, full of rustic wood and wallpaper is a stark contrast to his slick Manhattan apartment. His huge, affectionate family is a far cry from her jet-setting mom and workaholic father. With the holiday season in full swing, she has to face the fact that they come from very different worlds…maybe too different? Luckily, she knows that when they are back home in New York everything will go right back to normal.
But after an unexpected confession from Josh, Emily must suddenly confront whether she’s the city girl she has always considered herself, or if maybe, just maybe, there could be a different version of the life she always imagined she would lead.
Can the future she dreamed of with Josh be possible if they want two very different things? Or will Emily’s first Christmas in Magnolia Harbor be her last?

If you’re in the mood for a feel good, sweet, holiday romance, then start reading Sophie Mays’ From New York, With Love today!
AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is a 20,000-word clean romance with no mature or offensive language. This book is part of a series of standalone stories that all take place in the town of Magnolia Harbor. Sometimes the stories lightly interconnect or cross paths with characters or locations from other books within the series, but you do not need to read the other books, or the books in order, to enjoy them. These are standalone stories, with no cliff-hangers and HEA endings. Enjoy!

The story is a clean, sweet holiday romance with a happy ever after.
A great Read
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout as part of a group of three stories and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sweet and Clean, Small Town Romance.
This novella looks at small towns, familial connections and what really matters in life. It has faith elements and has a good message. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to share my honest review. I will be reading more of this author’s work!
Another great story from the little town of Magnolia Harbor. I have loved each of these stories. They work well as stand alone books, but I am beginning to wish I could move to Magnolia Harbor. Emily and Josh have a wonderful life in New York. Are they as compatible when they are in Smalltown, USA? You will have to read this delightful novella.
Allow a long afternoon for this family-friendly tale of an NYC girl visiting her transplanted boyfriend’s hometown for Christmas. I read an ARC and this voluntary review is my own opinion.
Actually 3.5 stars instead of 3 stars:
Christmas Wishes & Heartwarming Kisses:
Christmas Wishes & Heartwarming Kisses – A collection of six stories by an author I haven’t read before this collection. The Introduction has overviews of all six books, which I appreciate knowing about a story before I read it. All six are clean, quickly read and interesting; perfect for relaxing with a cuppa. Needs minor editing. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 4*
From New York, With Love – Yankee city girl finds the South not as backwards, out-of-date and uncultured as she naively thought originally. She learns what is really important. 3.5*
A Whole Latte Christmas – A fun, heartwarming story filled with family and love while she learns to trust love again. My favorite story, just perfect for a cuppa and a snuggle. 4*
Key West Christmas – I’m wrong; this is my favorite story! A heartwarming story of change made better by a fun, loving, caring man and a good landlady turned friend. Learning to make new traditions. 5*
A Girl’s Guide To Creating Christmas – One of the best Christmas stories I’ve read in a long time. Fun, heartwarming and filled with the wonders and true meaning of Christmas. A second chance at life and love. 5*
Santa Baby, Maybe –
Scottish Holiday –
Christmas Wishes & Heartwarming Kisses End.
To Love … and … Renovate #2 – I didn’t get to read the first book of this series, which I think would have made this book more meaningful to me. Well written and easy to read with likable characters and a plot full of happenings. Of course, there’s wedding details still to be completed, working at their jobs and trying to wait for the wedding night, why wouldn’t there be drama? But there was fun and laughter, too. A good balance throughout the book. I liked Virginia’s calm approach to the wedding preparations. Oh, don’t forget the elephant in the pink tutu – the renovations. I appreciate this being a clean story, which only needed minor editing. I found this book on Booksprout.co. 4*
