Murder. It’s a perennial problem. Verity Hawkes is a shut-in. After two years bunkered in her apartment, the only thing that gets her out is the disappearance of her beloved but eccentric aunt. As she takes over her aunt’s landscaping shop, she’ll need to go from hoarder to horticulturist in a hurry… obnoxious client. When a series of freak accidents kills the customer, all signs point to Verity as the killer.
The hunt for answers is on, and Verity must question a tipsy carpenter, a bacon-peddling vegan baker, and her dreamy landscaping competitor to keep her new life afloat. Failure to find the truth could put her back in a confined space for much more than two years…
From Garden To Grave is the first book in a series of delightfully funny cozy mysteries. If you like lovably quirky characters, deceptively idyllic Canadian villages, and twists you won’t see coming, then you’ll love Rickie Blair’s Leafy Hollow Mysteries.

This was a fun mystery whose characters grow on you!
Read the whole series in a couple of days. Great characters, intrigue, small town everyone knows everyone’s business.
I really enjoyed reading this book
Good book. Didn’t expect the ending.
Good for light reading, not realistic but it good for entertainment.
Great book.Couldn’t put it down.
My new favorite author. Brsvo!
It’s easy to root for the lead character in this book. She sure has her work cut out for her but she grows as a person by sticking it out. She makes some pretty amazing friends too and they add a lot to the storyline.
the characters and the town created by the author make a wonderful backdrop for this charming mystery. Lovely to read.
Slow in parts but light and enjoyable over all.
Snappy, made for a lot of grins on my part.
I would like to read more of the series!
After I finished this book, #1 of the series, I went back to Amazon and downloaded #2. I can’t get enough of this character!
Silly but fun.
I’m not use to reading this type of book, but I think my style is changing. I haven’t finished reading it but so far I am enjoying it.
This was a very good first book for a series. Loved the characters and am looking forward to meeting them again. They are all very quirky! One mystery was solved in this book but it left another very important mystery hanging. Guess we’ll have to read the next book in the series to find out the answer.
I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I could really relate to the carefully crafted characters in this book. Throughout the book, I was occupied with trying to figure out “who done it”, and was pleasantly surprised in the end!
Fun book to read and could not put it down until the last page was read. This book reminds me of seeing parts of the country when i was growing up.
Great fun! Lose yourself in a fun mystery.
Love this series…
