Wow another Gorgeous book by Jasmin Miller, I Loved it
This is a slow burn romance that will have you totally invested in the characters and storyline,I adored Jace and Millie and Tanner was a cutie pie, after Tanner’s Mum passes away he is thrust into Jace’s regimented world, were there is no room for taking care of a two year old child.
This is were quirky Millie comes into their lives, hired as Tanner’s Nanny she soon becomes a permanent fixture in their world and as time goes by they begin to develop feelings for one another.
There are so many endearing moments between all 3 of them and I found myself getting emotional,it was also great that the hero Jace wasn’t afraid to show his emotions for Millie and for Tanner I swooned more than once.I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of this book it had just the right amount of sexy and Romance, tearful moments and funny times too.
A beautiful read that I highly recommend to all Romance junkies like me.
This story about Emilia and Jace was so real, I could not help but become emotionally invested. These characters, along with Tanner, the sweet little boy, were so well written. It was refreshing to watch the dynamic between them develop and grow. The story brought out all kinds of feelings…love, fear, pride and anger, but the resolution was well worth it. Jasmin Miller is a new, to me, author an d I look forward to reading more from her.

Snuggle under the covers, grab your cup of hot chocolate or your glass of wine, throw in some chocolates or cheese and crackers and d0n’t forget your kindle. You will devour this single father hot sexy romance from the wonderfully talented Jasmin Miller. You are drawn into her wonderful world of characters and you will most definitely fall in love with Millie, Jace and the oh so sweetly adorable Tanner. As always Jasmin has captured my heart and kept me entertained from the opening words to the very end and even get a bonus epilogue which just ties up this fabulous little romance.
“Fresh Meet” is the first book in the “Kings of the Water” series by Jasmin Miller. It’s a slow burn, sports, single dad romance. Jace is a professional swimmer and he finds out he has a son that he has to take care of him alone. He decides to hire a nanny, Emilia. She is perfect for his son, Tanner, but she seems a little weird to him. He could never imagine the way things turned out between him and Emilia J. Miller writes great romance stories and this is one of them. It was an enjoyable read. I liked the way Jace and Emilia’s relationship formed. There was no rush and there were a lot of ups and downs. The story wasn’t only about the love story between Jace and Emilia. There were some moments of father and son bonding.
Both main characters are well described and they are very likeable. At first there was awkwardness in the way they interacted and that was funny in some way.
All in all, “Fresh Meet” is a sweet love story that you should read if you are a fan of romance novels.
Heart-warming love
I absolutely LOVED this book. It had my emotions all over the place, and had me laughing, smiling, crying, frowning and swearing!
This story is about the lives and loves of Jace and Emilia. He is a professional swimmer, who has a gruelling training schedule. He suddenly finds out, in tragic circumstances, that he has a son, Tanner, whom he knew nothing about. Whilst he comes to quickly love his little boy, it’s a struggle. Apart from his regimented life, he has no idea about being a parent. Do any of us at first?
His mother is a wonderful help to him and his son as they navigate their new relationship. But he also needs to enlist the help of a nanny to help him out. Enter Amelia. Her and Tanner bond immediately. It’s really heart-warming.
Over time, Jace and Amelia develop feelings for each other, and turn each other’s worlds upside down. They have love, mutual support and a strong connection with some hot chemistry. There is so much more to this, but I don’t want to spoil this wonderful story for the readers. But I DO implore you to read it!
This is the first book I have read from this author. And I cannot WAIT to see what they have in store next!

Jace is one of the best athletes in swimming and is training for the olympics and he has always been super dedicated to his rigid/tough training schedule. He is all of a sudden thrust into single fatherhood trying to figure out his life with the cutest, sweetest little boy, and a nanny that he is falling completely head over heels for. Jace won’t allow any distractions if he can control it. Emilia has recently lost her job, and a nanny position has come up that she would be perfect for. Millie also has to figure out what makes her happy and to follow her dreams. The moment Tanner and Emilia meets are so sweet. Jace’s moments with his son are sweet, adorable and make you swoon.

I loved this it’s a sweet love story but has lots of love, wonderful chemistry but a bit emotional at times. Jace found out he had a 2yr old son Tanner when his mum had passed away 2 months ago who had until then been a single man who devoted himself to his swimming & was an Olympic medalist. Although he had his mum Patricia to help him he needed someone more full time so needed a nanny & his mum set up interviews for him. When Jace met Emilia at the interview he though she was a bit overboard dressed in a huge tutu & a bright big bow & pigtails but the minute she met Tanner they had an instant connection, he recognised her as she was a entertainer on a children’s tv show in which she used sign language, he screened with delight when he saw her & they started signing to each other. Up until then Jace had not seen him smile or laugh & had no idea that Tanner couldn’t talk & immediately offered her the job. Tanner’s mum had passed away suddenly & had recently found out who Jace was so he had no idea about Tanner’s life before & being with Emilia he came out of his shell being a happy little boy. Being with Emilia & Tanner felt like a family gradually getting to know each other better the relationship between them became more than boss & employee. He found out how horrible her parents were to her & how much they hurt her swearing he would always be there for her. They declare their live for each other but when she misses the interview for her dream job because he didn’t turn up to look after Tanner whilst she went they argue about what time was & he threw the comment that she should have written time properly which hurt her as he knew about her dyslexia & she was devestated. When he found out where the job was he accused her of letting them think they were a family but she was going to leave him & Tanner without even letting her explain that it wasn’t going to be the case, after he’d hurt her like her parents did she realised they were over & left. She missed them both so much but couldn’t get passed how much he’d hurt her after promising not to it seemed like she would not get the family she wanted them to be. There are a lot more distress & upset they have to overcome before this before they can have a happy ever after. I was so addicted to this family I was desperate for them & couldn’t put it down.

Where do I even begin? What an absolute delight it was to read Fresh Meet, the beginning of the Kings of the Water series. I’ll be honest, the nanny trope is not my favorite to read about, but you got other tropes coming in and I loved every minute of this one.
This is definitely my favorite by Jasmin and now that we’ve met the other Kings (I think), there’s just so much anticipation for this series.
I loved the slow burn aspect to this, even though their attraction and chemistry is off the charts from the very beginning. They didn’t act on it right away, I loved that they took their time to get to know each other. And little by little, you can slowly see that fine line between them disappearing.
Millie is a favorite for sure, a bit of a unique character that deserves everything good in life. I will see she was a bit more forgiving than I would have been when it came to Jace being an absolute jerk face. But I digress.
With Jace being a single parent, I think she transitioned into the role effortlessly. His life changed completely and I’d definitely say for the better. I absolutely adored Tanner and with all the small wins that Jace and Millie face together with him, I understood that completely. When it comes to toddlers, you take what you get and cherish every single moment.
Be ready for Fresh Meet to just win you over!

Jasmin Miller
what a wonderful story .. the structure is very good. these two main characters are well described, they both have a life, he is an athlete, she someone who has mapped out her dream job, but is not there yet. he unexpectedly becomes a father, she becomes a nanny, because she understands the little man like no other .. I will not tell anything else .. it is definitely worth reading. I enjoyed it immensely. from me therefore 5 stars

Congratulations to Jasmin Miller, another fantastic book, I’m not sure how you do you it, but please don’t stop, you get better and better with each one!
This one has everything I want from a sweet romance novel, I was giddy, smiling and awwing my way through it and I completely forgot how much I enjoyed the single father trope and in combination with a sports romance, yes please!
Swimming is everything to Jace Atwood, he lives, eats, and breathes swimming and is focused on the upcoming Olymics. He is living his best bachelor life, until one day life throws him a big curveball. He is the father of a a little boy and due to unforeseen circumstances, he now has the sole custody of a 2 1/2 year old named Tanner.
Emilia (Millie) lost her job as a performer on a popular children’s tv show and as job prospects are few and far between, she applies for the job as a nanny.
Millie has an amazing connection with Tanner and through Jace and Millie’s growing bond with him, the two become closer and closer.
It’s a wonderful slow burn, not too slow and not too fast, and I love how they communicate, and how they start to open up to each other about their lives. And holy moly, the steamy scenes, I think they’re some of Jasmin Miller’s best!
Both Jace and Millie go through struggles during this book and the way they work through these hard times is amazing, I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series, I hope it’s Hunter’s book!
Thanks to the author for generously providing me an ARC to review.
I love that this sports romance has a slightly different sport than the norm with the swimming. I love single dad stories and this one had a little different spin to it. It was unexpected. Jace was out of his element, but he learned. He also learned, like his swimming, parenting takes dedication and sacrifice. Em seemed like a Mary Poppins come to life. She looked the part and she could understand Tanner when Jace couldn’t. I loved the relationship between the two. She was his voice when he didn’t have one. I also loved the signing, and I signed right along with the characters. I loved her dedication to children and all she went through to make it a reality. I also loved the relationship between Jace and Em. It was a slow burn and it didn’t start out in the best of ways, but the relationship between the 3 was beautiful, loving, and a lot of learning.
4 STARS
I love a good single dad romance and throw in that it was a surprise child, even better. I found that this story was cute and sweet, especially how Jace acclimated to being a father and accepting the new nanny, Em. I enjoyed reading about Jace’s relationship with his son, Tanner and how the three of them became a unit and a family.
I highly recommend reading this, it is definitely a MUST read. Fresh Meet by Jasmin Miller will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!

Title: Fresh Meet (Kings Of Water)
Author: Jasmin Miller
Genre: Single Dad/ Sports romance
.
I really enjoyed this book. Loved the characters; made me smile the whole way through. Miller has such a wonderful way with words. No doubt this is her best book to date.
Loved Jace’s story. I was enamored with the way he embraced his ‘secret’ son. His devotion to him, his career (as a professional swimmer) and his knockout ‘nanny’; will make you SWOON.
Gah! It’s such a lovely, light, and ‘feel good’ kind of story you won’t be able to put down. You do not want to miss this one.
Easily
*Thanks so much Jasmin Miller for this amazing ARC. I loved every bit of this story*
Wonderfully fantastic… The book was amazing… It had a lot of details and juicy scenes to it… The characters and their personalities match them perfectly… The plot and the storyline was very descriptive and amazing…
“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.”
Absolutely loved this book!! Jasmin is an amazing writer. She hooks you right from the beginning and keeps you captivated until the very last sentence. I did not want this book to end! I loved Jace and Emilia so much. As well as little Tanner, he’s such a huge part of the story. Such a good heart felt book.
Fresh Meet was a great story about a surprise single dad and the nanny. Jace is a good guy surprised by a child he knew nothing about. Enter Emilia with her crazy clothes and dreams of a TV show and you have a book you can’t put down! Jace and Emilia’s relationship is not without its troubles but I loved reading about how they put their little family together.
Jace and Em are just the sweetest couple. I loved watching them get to know each other, their slow burn erupting into full on 5 alarm fire! I love single parent romances and the way Jace reacted to the news he was a Dad, changing his whole lifestyle was admirable. As someone who works with kids, I loved that Em was such a playful free spirit. I enjoyed Tanner’s unconventional communication style and that he wasn’t punished or treated differently because he was still learning to communicate vocally. There were a few parts where I felt there were character inconsistencies, or rushed moments where I would have liked more time spent on a problem or course of action. That being said, this book gave me the warm fuzzies from start to finish and I absolutely adored it.

I give this book 4,5 stars!
I really, really loved the story and Jace, Em and Tanner stole my heart.
The story is about Jace, a professional swimmer with a very strict training schedule who suddenly figures out that he is a father to a two year old boy named Tanner. Tanners mother died and now Jace has to change his schedule and life to fit in a wonderful little boy and fatherhood. He hires Emilia (a former children’s program star) as his nanny and she helps him through the though times figuring everything out. They become really good friends and start to support each other in difficult times of their lives which leads to deeper feelings. But can they figure out how to start a relationship at the same time as all the other things occupying they time, lives and dreams? And how will their families and friends react to their boss/nanny relationship?
Em and Jace’s relationship is so sweet and they really support each other. They just fit together and their relationship to little Tanner is so wonderful, adorable and heartwarming and they come to work so great as a team. The only problem I had with the story was their miscommunication at the end and that she is so stubborn and scared that they loose so much time together.
The HEA is really sweet and you can’t help cheering for them.
I really can’t wait for the next book in this series “Kings of the water” and who it is about. Hunter, Noah and Ryan are such great characters and I can’t wait to see what happens to them!
I can definitely recommend this book and you are going to love Jasmin Millers writing and characters.
